Charming seaside cottage

The cottage is in a great location by the sea. In the yard, there is a sheltered lawn for yard games, among other things. The cottage has direct access to the cliffs to admire the sea, and you can swim from the cliffs in calm weather. There is also a small beach very close to where children can swim. In addition, there is a large, long and stunning sandy beach about a kilometer away. In the summer and fall, there are lovely jogging terrains, great berry forests, and sea buckwheat shrubs on the beach. In the winter, there are great ski trails in Pyhäjoki and Kalajoki.

Peltola Mummola, a rustic house in the outskirts of Kalajoki

Our accommodation "Mummola" is the old main building of our farm in the courtyard of the farm in Mehtäkylä. Our accommodation has been renovated to modern standards in 2013, preserving the atmosphere of an old-time granny. Our property is located in a quiet side village of Kalajoki, 17 km from the center of Kalajoki and 25 km from Hiekkasärki. Our yard is home to rabbits, chickens, cats, dogs, horses and ponies. A trampoline, a pedal car and a sandbox are also available for guests. There is a barbecue canopy in the yard with a gas grill.

Myös puulämmitteinen sauna käytössä. Talvella mökiltä pääsee helposti pilkille ja kesällä taas löytyy hyvät onki- ja kalavedet. Soutuvene on käytössä. Talvisin on etukäteen mahdollisuus varata käyttöön myös potkukelkat. Kohteesta löytyy lisämaksusta palju ja savusauna.

Welcome to stay in a historic setting! This duplex is located in the charming courtyard of a mansion built in the early 1900s, right by the sea. The apartment has two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen, and can accommodate up to 6 guests. One bedroom has a 160 cm wide double bed, and the other has a 140 cm double bed and an 80 cm single bed. In the kitchen, there is a wooden sofa (180 cm), which also serves as a bed for a smaller sleeper.
