“My bestfriend and I really enjoyed our stay. Definitely a place to book if you would like time away from the hustle and bustle of the city life. Spectacular mountain views, stargazing on the terrace (or if it gets too cold outside, the attic was a perfect spot for us!), amazing hospitality, sparkling clean house! Mohamed lives in Spain so we have been communicating via whatsapp, but upon arrival, his brother in law (also Mohamed) greeted us with his family and the housekeepers (Abdel Karim & Khadijah). We received such lovely and warm welcome after our drive from Meknes. Locating the house wasn't a problem at all as we had our GPS with us and Mohamed constantly checked on us to make sure we knew our way. Although shops were around 8km away, it wasn't a problem as we had our car with us. We just made sure we bought groceries to cook for dinner at home. It was winter when we were there and Abdel Karim made sure we were warm by putting the fires on for us every night. As if that wasn't enough, we were provided with 2 heaters throughout our stay! Hospitality was amazing and we are ever so grateful. We had the option to go horse riding around the area with Abdel Karim & his wife, Khadijah. It was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. 4 hours of horse riding with breathtaking mountain views, sounds of nature, absolute peace, trying out wild edible berries, discovering footprints of wild animals, drinking spring water, it was an adventure of a lifetime! Laundry service was also available, much to our relief, as we have been travelling for 2 weeks. Driving to Chefchaouen would take roughly 45minutes with a slow drive, being aware of speed limits and road blocks. We were able to travel to Chefchaouen everyday and come back to a home, away from the busy souks. It is definitely a huge house that could easily accommodate a family of 6! Horses, dogs, cat, mountain views, cold, crisp air. We couldn't have asked for more. THANK YOU SO MUCH Mohamed for making our trip a special and an unforgettable one! Insya'Allah we will visit again. Salam, Saurah & Natasha”

“We had a warm welcome from Amelia's mother, it was easy to find from the map provided. Communication was fast and sweet, and the Korean dinner was amaaazing! Nourishing, delicious, and a welcome change from Moroccan food. A warm, colourful inviting space, shared with other interesting travellers, with a family feeling. And the electric blanket was divine, especially set in the chilly mountains in winter under a blanket of stars. We were cozy and also recommend the walks and surrounding nature. Thank you!”
