TrollSplinter Land is your own private camp spot on the Olympic coast. Located on Cedar Creek, that feeds into beautiful Ruby Beach, TrollSplinter Land is 20 acres of raw coastal forest. Fish the creek, hunt for mushrooms, or just use it as base camp while enjoying the Olympic Natl Park. Minutes from Kalaloch, beach 3 and 4, and a 3 mile drive or walk to Ruby Beach. This is rugged land, often wet, and not for those looking for luxury and comfort. The only running water is the creek itself.
“I just want to start off by saying that I am very sorry for the theft that took place on this property. It is very unfortunate that there are crappy people out there that believe the world is there's and they can take what they want. With that said, I absolutely love this place. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and magical. We have been here twice and will definitely be back again. I feel there are certain precautions you must take when camping anywhere, whether it be a campground or on private property. The owners of the property have taken the theft very seriously, were very upfront with us before our stay and seem genuinely upset that a theft took place on their property. I appreciated their transparency and we decided to stay regardless, and I am glad we did. We will be back.”

Bring water. Picnic table included. Right off of HWY 101, traffic is audible. Pets ok, clean up after them. Hammock hooks inside! 3rd party $5 firewood bundles on site.
“We rented the river view cabin and hooked up a hammock, set up some tents and have a fire pit/wood stove to cook with. I liked that there were porta potties and wood on site. We were only 9 min from ruby beach which is now our favorite beach and 30 min from the hall of moss trail. It was the perfect spot for our family and the kids got to run around safely. We had a lot of fun and will be back again.”

“Wow, wow, wow, wow, wow! Such exactly what we needed for rest and restoration of the soul. So comfortable, so sweet, so easy. It's basics are all you need, the view is never tiring, the propane fire pit and BBQ make instant joy, the eagles are a precious privilege to be near, the hosts are good-souled sweethearts, the private beach is peaceful and calming. We can't wait to return! Useful tips if you are lucky enough to stay here... Remember to: - bring what you need to wash your dishes (camping style, leave-no-trace) - bring mosquito spray, if you're a magnet like me (my partner was fine, of course) - drive safe and careful on the windy roads So grateful and still glowing from our visit! We miss it already...”
