El Chaparral, Ground Floor Apartment!

Our ground floor 2 bedroom apartment forms part of our fully renovated farmhouse. The property is situated in a quiet, peaceful position on the unspoilt coastline of Cantabria.  We sit on over 13 acres so there's plenty of space to explore, relax and enjoy uninterrupted views of the Cantabrian sea and surrounding countryside. We're originally from England and we also live within in a separate part of property. We're happy to offer help and advice during your stay whilst respecting your privacy.

Casa de piedra con vistas al mar, en el pueblo de Tagle, próximo a las playas y el núcleo de Suances. Que sea el centro de tus rutas por Cantabria: playas, pueblos, cultura, gastronomía, naturaleza... En la casa, un amplio espacio integra el salón-comedor y la cocina, y un patio con barbacoa. La habitación principal con gran ventanal tiene vistas al mar y baño con bañera de hidromasaje. Hay otras dos habitaciones dobles y un baño. Y una buhardilla para zona de trabajo y/o camas supletorias.

El baño esta nuevo , salón con cocina , el apartamento dispone de un sofá cama para dos personas. La casa tiene un amplio porche y jardín ideal para descansar. Cambio de toallas cada 3 días , cambio de sábanas cada 5 días. Estamos a 3 km del centro de Santillana del Mar.

It is located in a strategic point from which you can visit the main tourist attractions of Cantabria. In just 10-15 minutes you can stroll through the cobbled streets of Santillana del Mar, discover Gaudí's Capricho in Comillas or cool off on the beaches of Suances. Not to mention San Vicente de la Barquera, La Cueva del Soplao or Cabárceno, which are 20 minutes away.

We are 50 m from the Santibañez fountain (you must try its water) and 15 minutes from Comillas, San Vicente de la Barquera, Santillana del Mar and the Saja Reserve Natural Park. The town of Cabezon de la Sal is 3 km away.

Tucked on a wild fertile mountain a 400 year old barn was renovated by artists with natural materials. It is crooked, it is colourful, it is wild and will throw you in an another universe for the time of your stay. You have to be nimble on your feet as the tiny access path is crooked and on a slope, and even the floor in the house tilted. A full immersion in a new world for total disconnection.

This place is perfect for resting since we are sorrounded by nature and also many interesting places that allow us to easily combine the great variety of activities that Cantabria offers.
