“Barbs place was super. Her little touches of a candy bowl, breakfast basket, microwave popcorn and cheese tray were welcoming. She has many spices and staple items on hand. Olive oil, balsamic vinegar, eggs, popcorn, sugar, flour etc. Etc. This made cooking like being at home. It was just the two of us and our little chiauhas so we only slept in one bed which was very comfortable. The other bedrooms looked cozy. There are two tv's, and a big couch upstairs in the loft. Two bathrooms. The fireplace and abundant wood were awesome. In the mornings with my coffee, I enjoyed sitting in the back room watching the horse across the yard, as well as deer and many squirrels. All the pots, pans, dishes you could ever need. Everything was just so comfortable. We spent 6 nights there and barely left the cabin. There are trails in the area to hike and a petting zoo next to the property. Close to Rochester as well as other small towns. We would definitely stay again.”
Come explore the Historic Wykoff Jail Haus. The property is owned by the city of Wykoff. “This is a really cool and unique place to stay for the night. It’s off the beaten path but well worth it. Kids loved sleeping in the jail cell. Space is small but functional. Clean. Comfortable. A/C was super cold. Plus Just a lot of history here. We met some of the neighbors who were very nice and explored the town a bit in the morning. Just a nice small town. Wish we could have stayed another night.”

Main floor bathroom has a seated shower with handheld shower head. I will provide a Mayo Clinic parking pass upon request.
“The house was just perfect. Very spacious. The host went above and beyond in helping us when we had unexpected car issues. The front porch is such an amazing space to relax after a stressful day at the clinic/hospital. The easy access to the parks and trail system was an added bonus. There is no doubt in my mind we would rebook here when a return to the area is needed. Thanks very much! Gary & Ann Kleman family”
