Vicki and Doug's place was excellent, they were lovely and great to deal with, they had thoughtful and generous inclusions and the house is lovely. The pictures don't do it justice, it is much larger and more spacious in person. The amenities are great, the lake at sunset is beautiful and the house is close to the heated pool, so would be great in the cooler months as well. We will definitely be coming back, and would recommend the house for anyone looking for a holiday.

We had a fantastic family getaway at Jo's Villa at Raffertys Resort in Cams Wharf. The villa was spacious, spotless, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. It was perfectly set up for families, with thoughtful touches throughout that made it feel like a home away from home. The resort itself is beautiful — nestled between bushland and Lake Macquarie, with great access to pools, tennis courts, and walking trails. The kids especially loved the freedom to swim, explore, and spot wildlife. Jo was incredibly welcoming and responsive from the moment we booked. They made check-in a breeze and went above and beyond to ensure we had a smooth stay, even sharing local tips and dining options. That personal touch really elevated the whole experience. We’d absolutely recommend this villa and host to any families looking for a peaceful, well-appointed base to explore the area or just unwind. We’ll definitely be back!
