Creaking wooden floors, wood-heated fireplaces and sturdy log walls. In the over 100-year-old Pihlaja-aho cottage, you might think you've fallen into the middle of a scene from a Suomi-Film movie. So if you're looking for an old-fashioned rustic atmosphere, you've come to the right place. Pihlaja-aho's cabin is the only place in Finland where you can spend a unique alpaca holiday. The 1.3 ha of natural meadows of the croft are grazed by three nice alpaca boys, whose easy care you are responsible for independently and according to your own schedule.

Kaislan Tila

Kaislan Tila is located in the countryside, 22km north of Mikkeli. We live in the main building of the farm and there is a 65m2 separate apartment in the yard. The farm has animals and is surrounded by thousands of lakes in Eastern Finland and forest areas rich in natural resources. The nearby lake offers recreational opportunities, fishing, swimming, boating, etc. In the woods, you can ski, pick berries, pick mushrooms and just enjoy the peace and quiet. In winter, you can go snowshoeing, skiing and skating, weather permitting.

Taiga Kallioranta – cottage and lakeside sauna

TAIGA KALLIORANTA A small, self-catering luxury cottage of 30 m², open all year round, in the tranquillity of Vääräjärvi, between Mäntyharju and Ristiina. A peaceful getaway for couples, for remote working or for a creative break. Here, there is no noise from cars or neighbours; instead, you are surrounded by pine trees, a lake, and a rocky shore. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a toilet and a bathroom. The evening is crowned by a sauna just 10 metres from the beach. Final cleaning is the responsibility of the guests.

Villa Mustaniemi, 180-degree lake view

It's easy to relax in this unique and peaceful holiday resort. The bright and spacious cottage offers a 180-degree view of the lake, where you can see a pair of otters frolicking in the water. You can also see a beaver family at play in the nearby area. The separate sauna building also offers a beautiful view of the lake. There is a separate charge for the use of the outdoor hot tub, and its use must be agreed upon before the start of the booking. A peaceful and beautiful cottage where it's easy to enjoy yourself.

The villa includes spacious bedrooms, a cozy downstairs living room with dining area, an upstairs living room with stunning lake views, a fully equipped kitchen, bathroom facilities and an electric sauna.

Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Fairy tales on the forest lake

A typical Finnish cottage (55.8 sq.m) was built in 1972 and completely renovated in 2014, preserving the authentic atmosphere. The nearest shop or gas station is 25 kilometers away. We live behind the forest 200 meters from the cottage all year round. The location of the cottage is unique in that, on the one hand, you feel complete freedom and privacy, on the other hand, we are always around and ready to help and communicate if you wish. Our plot and garden are always open to our guests.

Come to Koivuranta to do remote work, vacation, study, or otherwise just hang out in the middle of nature in the lakeside scenery of Lake Saimaa! The market is only about 5 km away, XAMK about 7 km, the nearest bus stop 1.5 km and Visulahti 4 km. The nearest grocery store is 3.5 km (S-Market Peitsari). Prisma and Citymarket are 4 km away and you can find the nearest restaurant, as well as Visulahti. The outdoors is either jogging, enjoying the deck, or visiting the woods.
