The home is an, updated 2 bed, 2 bath home, that sleeps up to 6 guests - located on a double lot. Outdoor space includes a deck, paver patio with fire pit, large entertaining 25 foot table spanning 2 oak trunks, a swing set, a boat dock, detached garage, and parking pad big enough to fit an RV/Trailer/Camper, and a large yard.

The Maynard Cabin, a Civil War era log cabin

The Maynard Log Cabin was erected by a homesteader after the civil war. We have moved and restored it and made it available for rent. It is off the grid, but it has a complete functioning kitchen, wood stove and sitting room downstairs. There are two antique beds with new mattresses upstairs. There is no electricity but the cabin is furnished with kerosene lanterns. The bathroom facilities consist of wash basins and outhouse. The cabin is surrounded by 40 acres of woods and meadows.

Built in 2017, this comfortable and tranquil getaway includes a full kitchen, bathroom with a cedar-lined shower, electric in-floor heat, a wood stove, warm pine siding throughout, and a spacious sleeping loft. A covered porch, fire pit and fully-stocked woodshed are right outside the door. Your stay includes access to more than ten kilometers of trails traversing hundreds of acres of private woodland originating steps from your door.

Welcome to our charming 2 bedroom 1.5 bathroom house nestled in the heart of many lakes,bike trails and snowmobile trails. Ideal for both business and leisure travelers. We have a full kitchen and a living room with a television to catch all your favorite shows. We also have a sitting room with no television to relax in. We have high speed wi-fi available throughout the property. We have an office area available for those that need to do a little work while staying at our house.

Treehouse (LOTR) Stargazer Skycabin

Our LOTR themed treehouse, along with our LOTR Wizard's Cottage, have been described as a "love letter to Tolkien himself." We have been featured on PBS and WJON radio. A manager lives on the acreage, about 200 ft. from the Wizard's Cottage and very far from the treehouse, which is located on the back part of the acreage. It has a fenced-in portion that makes up the Shire Garden. Down the hill is our nod to Mordor. Feel free to visit and dare to open the "Mor Do(o)r."

Stoney Ridge Lighthouse

The lighthouse is located on 50 acres of wooded property on Rock Lake in central Minnesota (about 2 hours northwest of the twin cities). The 2,000 square foot lighthouse has seven levels, including the crows nest that is over 50 feet high, here guests can see over the canopy of the trees. It is a timber framed structure that includes 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms. We hope you, your friends, and family come to enjoy our property as much as we have over the past 30 years!

A Slice of Paradise

Relax with the whole family at a Slice of Paradise, a newly renovated quaint cabin on South Long Lake in Brainerd. South Long Lake is a year round recreational lake offering boating, fishing, swimming, kayaking and paddle boarding. We are located on the east side of the lake with amazing sunsets and a sandy beach . Enjoy roasting s'mores around the campfire watching the sunset and listening to loons calling across the lake. Minimum age of primary renter is 25.
