It is equipped with what you would need of kitchenware and if you need bedding, this can be rented for 100kr per bed. It takes about 15 minutes to drive to Åndalsnes, about 5 minutes to drive to Isfjorden and about 5 minutes to drive to Skorgedalen. Good hiking opportunities right outside the door and not far to many of the famous mountains in the area.
