Treehouse in the Forest Canopy | Reclaimed Kauri

Like a magic carpet ride in the canopy of the forest. A 120 year old Kauri villa was about to be torn down. We rescued the French doors, sarking, weatherboards, windows, flooring and shower fittings, then used them to build Wild Forest Treehouse. A space nestled into the forest slope, so that with all sets of French doors open, you're not looking down at the canopy. You're living inside it. Everything has had a life before this place. You can feel it.

Old Fell Boat Shed

Located in the heart of Kohukohu village across the road from beautiful Hokianga Harbour, the historic Old Fell Boat Shed provides accommodation for up to six guests. It's the ideal timeout spot to write, paint, kayak (two on-site), fish or just relax. Cafe's, art gallery, pub and general store are a level two-minute walk. Located on the shores of the tranquil Mangonui harbour with Doubtless Bay beaches very close by. She (the cottage) is cute and eclectic with spaces to sit, relax and enjoy the view and location. Its a short walk to Mangonui village shops and cafes. The covered courtyard at the rear of the property is private, furnished and with a Weber BBQ to enjoy outdoor dining.
