Tall folk beware— this is a basement space! Ceilings are 79in. Bathroom is even shorter. For cat allergy sufferers— we do have cats on main floor but they’re never allowed in the guest space. The Windmill House is located in Clark, SD. The kitchen is fully furnished, towels and bedding provided, washer and dryer available if needed. Sleeping arrangements include a king, twin, full, and hide-a-bed. Extra amenities include WiFi, Roku TV, games, outdoor grill, and a shed set up for fish/game cleaning. Clark has one of the largest public pools in the state, a 9 hole golf course, several excellent dining options, and some of the best fishing and hunting in SD.

Take it easy at this tranquil getaway. Drink coffee at sunrise on the deck overlooking the prairie with Turtle Creek in the distance. Listen to a pheasant cackle nearby in the trees and watch a deer stroll by. This is definitely off of the beaten path, but not too far, only 5 minutes of driving on gravel to get to your quiet place.
