The popular Hauklandstranda is about 15 minutes from the rorbua. Leknes town, airport and hurtigruten ferry a short distance from the cabin. If you want to try your luck in the rich fishing waters of Vestfjorden, boat rental is possible. In the months Jan-April the famous Lofot fishing is ongoing, and you can experience this fishing at Ballstad, which is one of Lofoten's largest and most abundant fishing village.

My container house is located in Ramberg /Flakstad, only 30 minutes from Leknes airport, the house sits on a large property on the tip of a peninsula with panoramic views of the open ocean. Its a mini house build of a container . The house is new and built to the highest standard with heated floors throughout. You can see the northern lights from the bed. Kitchen and a nice bathroom. Hot tub, you need to bring with you wood. Working only in the summer. Sauna with a big window ( electric)

And a big fireplace. 3 bedrooms + 5 sleeping places on floor/beds on the attic (most suitable for kids due to limited head space) There is 2 bathrooms. One of them is connected to the master bedroom. Best location in Hamnøy One guests feedback requires an explanation: My 5 guests from Asia complained that the hot water ran out when showering. This is the first time in the 180 feedbacks I have received. I explained that there is 200 liters of hot water, once this is used up it takes 30 minutes to heat up again. If all the guests shower for a very long time and right after each other, you have to wait 30 minutes for new hot water.
