Nostalgic schoolhouse close to the beach and mountains

Idyllic Storvik is a small village on the far side of the Nordland coast in the middle between Saltstraumen and Svartisen. The surroundings are sea, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can stay in the old village school that we in the family have transformed into a modern apartment. There are several marked hiking trails in the area. They range from very easy, to more advanced trips for real "mountain goats". If you prefer to relax on the beach and enjoy nature from a distance, it is perfectly possible from the 1.5 km long sandy beach.

The home is located in idyllic Storvik, directly by the 1.5 km long Storvik beach and only 50 m from the sea. The surroundings are sea, mountains, sandy beach and fishing waters. Here you can enjoy an active holiday with mountain trips, paddling, swimming or cycling. If you just want to relax, the large terrace is perfect for sunbathing and barbecuing or just relaxing with a good book. Here you have everything you need for a comfortable vacation. If the weather is bad, you have panoramic views of the natural elements from the inside.

At Stia you can stay in scenic and quiet surroundings overlooking fjords and mountains. Here you can enjoy silence under the starry sky and northern lights, or simply have lazy days on the beach "Stia" which is located just below the cabin. Welcome to this great holiday home with an idyllic location on Sandhornøy. The house is located by the sea and has a fantastic sea view where you can see the Hurtigruten cruise ships pass by. The house is spread over 2 floors and has a practical floor plan and includes 4 bedrooms, storage room, attic, living room/kitchen and bathroom. Great terrace that goes around large parts of the house so you can move around following the sun.

"Eagleness" in Helgelandsidyll

Enjoy the view from "Ørnedomen" a circular cabin of 9 sqm with 120 cm bed that is hoisted up under the roof during the day. Access to dining area and cooking facilities in the jetty, shower/toilet in separate module. Rental of boat, kayaks, SUP and a floating sauna. Price incl. bed linen and towels. Bring the whole family for cozy up in the main cabin at Cool Cabins, on beautiful Sandhornøy. Here you will find ready-made beds, and everything you would need for a nice stay. There is access to beach on the property, fishing opportunities, as well as plenty of hiking opportunities and excursions nearby. We recommend a trip to Elias Blix cafe, possibly for the perfect trip up Sandhornet (993 meters). And perhaps your host can offer you a guided boat trip at a reasonable price.

The barn in Midnattssolveien

This is a newly restored barn completed in the summer of 2023. We have taken care of as much as possible of the old, and combined it with the new. This makes the barn a completely unique place, with a soul. 1st floor consists of hallway, bathroom with toilet and shower, hobby room, two bedrooms. The 2nd floor consists of an open solution, where part is the "main hall" with a fireplace, a well equipped kitchen, and a cosy sofa section. All rooms are well equipped.
