We stayed at the Shandon Bird House for a month, and we could not have enjoyed our time more! Emile and Eme are absolutely wonderful hosts - kind and responsive. The Shandon Bird House is exactly as pictured and deserves way more than 5 stars! As a cautious person, the Shandon neighborhood is extremely safe and one that I walked miles and miles in. As well, location of this spot is 10/10. 10 minutes from downtown, 5 minutes from Target, Whole Foods, Food Lion and many wonderful restaurants. I would highly recommend this AirBnB to anyone coming to visit Colombia! LOVED it!

My husband and I relocated to the city and needed a place to stay for a few weeks while house hunting. Desi’s place was the perfect home base. Located in the Heathwood area—arguably the nicest neighborhood in the entire city—it's the ideal mix of charm, convenience, and tranquility. The location is unbeatable, being right across the street from Heathwood Park, and close to all the shops and restaurants on Devine. Desi is an outstanding host! From the moment we arrived, he made us feel at home, providing everything we needed and more. Plus, he has an adorable dog named Marlin, who was a sweet addition to our stay! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. If you’re visiting Columbia, I highly recommend staying at Desi’s—whether you’re in town for a short visit or need a longer-term stay.
