Holiday rentals with a patio in Río Grande

Really enjoyed our stay. Space was comfortable and peaceful. Host was kind, thoughtful, and very responsive. Location was perfect for us to explore. Good nearby eateries and a convenience store. Washer and dryer was a plus.

Great place and location. Just a few steps from the beach.

What to say... We absolutely loved our stay at Doel's! We stayed for 3 nights....were surrounded by rainforest, beautiful flora, the sounds of coquis at night and birds during the day. We stayed in the upstairs apartment. It is very spacious and had every amenity to hang for a day, cook in or use the outdoor kitchen area, take a dip in the pool, swing in a hammock and just chill out. We were a short drive to beaches or the El Yunque rainforest. We also appreciated chatting with Doel about the local area and his beautiful piece of paradise. We had been traveling for a couple weeks in PR, and spent our last few days here. It was the perfect ending for our trip and I would love to come back just to soak up the tranquility of this peaceful place.

Wow, it was absolutely stunning here! A little off the beaten path but the views made it absolutely with it. Julio was an incredibly responsive and kind host, I can’t recommend him and his place enough!

Rosalyn was an awesome host. We were there during the New Year's island-wide power outage and she had both solar panels and a generator to compensate. The amenities were great - pool, hot tub, grill, billards. We would stay again.

This property was great, and as described in the Airbnb pics and review. It's a very big condo... 3-4 bedrooms, with a large living room/kitchen, etc.. We had no issues finding the location, and our family had a good time. It's close to El Yunque forest (highly recommend the Carabali rainforest ATV rides) and the Hotel is just down the road.

Such a wonderful stay! Falling asleep to the sounds of the rainforest was a treat, and the unit is close enough to town that you can still find stores/restaurants within a 5-ish minute drive. I personally didn’t have a car so I took Ubers most of the time-- they do come out, it just takes a while. If you need to use Uber, the pin “Calle 3 & Calle 8” in Rio Grande works best. Joanna is an incredible host, very responsive and communicative, and she has recommendations for laundromats, stores, etc if you need them. My job is remote and I found that the wifi worked great, but phone calls weren’t always the best quality, probably due to the location. If the window slats are open and you’re sensitive to mosquito bites like I am, Joanna can close them from the outside for you to keep bugs out (for the most part). Couldn’t have asked for a better experience, thank you!

Really loved our stay! It was perfect for what we needed it for. Spent the days at El Yunque (SO CLOSE!! - 8 min drive without traffic) and our evenings on the farm. We didn’t mind the cold showers (relief from the PR heat!) or noise from the road (we’re city folk). The Cigar Shop, Bar & pizza were awesome for entertainment and easy dinner (+ the mojitos were delicious). The farm cats were quickly made our best friends & the outdoor space was warm and welcoming - reading in the hammock was a highlight.

The place was great and host was super responsive with good recommendations! Kids loved the pool, pool table and local lizards. Frogs at night were delightful. Had a little bit of a hard time finding the place, even with the instructions, but were able to navigate our way there. Would stay again!

We recently stayed at Demi and Andrei’s Airbnb & it was perfect! The location is not far from the airport, but you'll need a rental car to get around. Having visited PR many times, my husband & I are familiar with the roads but if you're not, just be aware that the roadways can be different. Grocery stores are about 12 minutes away. We rented 2 of their villas: a 3 bedroom and a 2 bedroom. The 3 bedroom villa is located at the bottom of a hill. If you are traveling with elderly people, I would suggest renting one of 2br villa instead. Each villa was beautifully decorated & had super comfy beds with controlled AC units in each room. The kitchen was well-equipped with a small countertop oven. The pool area was amazing, 2 Jacuzzi’s & floats. Only 1 jacuzzi worked. The volleyball area is nice, had a gazebo, sink, grill, + games. We did have a spider situation in the villas but that’s to be expected surrounded but nature. It was gated + outdoor cameras. Overall, it was a lovely place.

Was a nice and quiet place to relax. Good amenities and felt safe. It is in a working class neighborhood. It so happens there was an islandwide blackout. having the Tesla battery backup and the water tank was invaluable.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. This house had it all! The host really thought of everything when making sure you enjoyed your stay. From everything for the pool to everything for the beach. The kitchen was fully stocked to cook in or outside on the BBQ. The entire house was extremely clean and I can be pretty picky when it comes to cleanliness, and this one hit the mark for me. We would stay at this house again for sure.

My family and I had a great time staying. Hosts were very quick with responses and accommodated everything we needed. We have family a couple doors down so the location is perfect and it’s not too far from manyyy beautiful beaches ! But having your own private pool for days you don’t want to get sand everywhere was perfect ! The house is very spacious and perfect for a family vacation home to stay in. We can’t wait to come back and stay again ❤️

This place is amazing. We've stayed at a few Airbnb's in Rio Grande and this has been the best experience by far. This will be our go to next time we visit. I cannot speak highly enough of the beautiful home in the rainforest.

Definitely a great place to stay. A 3-5 minute walk to luquillo beach and kiskos. Lots to eat and drink there without having to travel a ton. The place is simple, neat, easy to find and parking was private and effortless. We arrived at 1:30am and it was as simple as we hoped being that we had a delay in our flight and everything was dark and rainy out. Definitely a great experience and will go back! Definitivamente un gran lugar para alojarse. A 3-5 minutos a pie de la playa de Luquillo y Kiskos. Mucho para comer y beber allí sin tener que viajar mucho. El lugar es sencillo, limpio, fácil de encontrar y el aparcamiento era privado y sin esfuerzo. Llegamos a la 1:30 a. m. y fue tan simple como esperábamos, ya que tuvimos un retraso en nuestro vuelo y todo estaba oscuro y lluvioso. ¡Definitivamente una gran experiencia y volveré!

Ody and Tom were great hosts. We enjoyed staying at their property in cluster 2 of Rio Mar. The location was great and the condo was nicely decorated. We enjoyed the pool. I had a great week at David and Anthony’s condo. They were excellent hosts and always quick to respond with any questions or concerns. The complex is quiet and secluded and the beach is excellent. It’s clean and safe and very family friendly. It is a short drive to many nice restaurants and stores. It’s also a great location for day trips such as El Yunque, Old San Juan, or the ferry terminal to Culebra. I will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Puerto Rico. And I would recommend Anthony and David’s place for any couple or small family.

A really amazing place! It fit our party of 6 so comfortably, and the location was perfect. Within 15-30mins of the major sights. Our teens LOVED the private beach, and all the terraces in the apartment. Hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive when needed, and the house came stocked with drinks and everything we needed to cook meals. Would definitely come again!

We had an amazing stay at this penthouse! It looks exactly like the photos, and the view is absolutely beautiful. The location was great—just a 30-minute drive without traffic (or 45 minutes with traffic) to the airport or San Juan. Mario was a fantastic host, checking in throughout our trip to make sure everything was going well and that we had everything we needed. The home was fully stocked for cooking, the beds were super comfortable, and they even provided everything you could need for a beach day. My son was especially excited about the boogie boards! The apartment is very spacious, so we never felt cramped, and it was perfect for our family trip celebrating my mom’s birthday. We will definitely be back and can’t wait to bring our friends next time!

We enjoyed our stay very much! The listing was just as described. Super convenient to get to local restaurants and attractions. The pool and beach were just steps away from the house which was a big plus. Highly recommended, especially if you are traveling with kids. Vanessa was a great host and was so wonderful with communication. Looking forward to visiting again!

We loved the rooftop. It was awesome to have a private patio overlooking the ocean on one side and the rainforest on the other. Though the surrounding homes and structures still show heavy signs of hurricane destruction, walking down the street felt very safe. The neighbors were friendly and would wave when you walk/drive by. Dewey also had a lot of nice amenities for the kids, like sand toys, knee boards, beach towels, etc. Very well stocked. AC also worked well to keep us cool in the evenings.

One of our favorite AirBnB stays ever. Wonderfully decorated and incredibly clean. The apartment felt like home immediately. Had possibly the best-stocked kitchen and linen closet I've ever seen. One of our biggest fears going into an Airbnb is always the depth of cleaning, some only look clean at the surface, and a few hours in, the truth begins to surface. But this place was seriously well kept, no dust, no significant signs of insects or other bugs (impressive for P.R.). Besides this, it was beautifully styled. My family loved it all, the tv was huge, easy access to key streaming apps and the view from he balcony was nice. While it isn't our favorite location (not much within walking distance), we enjoyed it so much we could totally see ourselves coming back and simply driving to beaches rather than risk a lower quality stay closer to the beach. The quality is worth it.
