Here you can swim, fish (bass!), paddle, relax by the fire pit or in a hammock or curl up with a good book on the deck or in front of the pretty stone gas fireplace. Fully equipped kitchen makes life easy with gas stove, fridge, microwave and dishwasher. There is a washer and dryer in the bathroom. First floor bedroom sleeps 2, and the loft has 2 futons plus a work space.

We recently acquired the house we live in which has an efficiency apartment in the back. It is cozy and private. The house is old and unique. It was previously a long term rental. We wanted to provide a restful space in the heart of Maine Highlands, the crossroads of Central Maine. We enjoy the scenic area with beautiful lakes rivers, multiuse trail systems and trail head of the 100 mile wilderness of the Appalachian Trail, Moosehead lake, Maine's largest lake, and State Parks.

Only a few miles to Dover-Foxcroft, or Sebec Lake. Far enough away to get away, but close enough to the amenities and sights.

Each cabin sleeps 4 people, with a queen sized bedroom and a 2 twin sleeping loft, accessed by a ship's ladder. A screened-in porch is the perfect place to sit and listen to our resident loons.
