Good place to stay for commuting inverness. Friendly host.

We had such a wonderful stay at Kate’s off-grid bothy! From the moment we arrived, Kate was an incredible host — she met us personally, gave us a thorough and friendly introduction to everything (especially the Rayburn cooker), and checked in kindly during our visit to make sure everything was perfect. The bothy itself was exactly what we hoped for: cozy, intimate, and deeply relaxing. The peaceful surroundings, charming interior, and thoughtful touches made it very hard to leave — we only wish we had stayed longer.

We only stayed there one night but had a great time! Everything was super clean. We immediately felt like home! The host was very friendly and we loved sitting by the fire in the living room! Would definitely come back!

Fiona's house is really beautiful, we felt right at home as soon as we arrived. The large hall was brilliant for all our walking gear and coats and jackets as there was lots of snow during our stay as was the pulley and clothes horse. The kitchen was really well equipped and given the very cold temperatures the house was really cosy and warm, the fire in the lounge was great. She has even arranged to have the path cleared of snow for us arriving. We had a great stay and was perfect for our group.
