Monthly Rentals in River Lathkill

Lovely little place for a weekend stay in the Peak District. It is in a perfect location for exploring, with many places just a short drive away, as well as some lovely walks in the local area that you can do from the doorstep. The chalet has everything you need for a short stay, including delicious homemade bread and enough cooking equipment to make simple meals. I would highly recommend! (And if you like dogs, Ben the friendly golden retriever is lovely).

We enjoyed a wonderful 3 night stay and were blessed with the most beautiful weather. The location of the cottage was ideal and the lounge and garden enjoy spectacular views over the valley and hills. The accommodation makes maximum use of the space and is functional and extremely comfortable. There was plenty of room for our party of 4 adults and the convenience of shops, pubs and cafes only minutes walk away made the location ideal. Parking outside the cottage was a little tricky and we were happy to use the car park at the top of the village, only a few minutes walk away. The suggested rates are minimal and can be paid online or via an honesty box.

Willow Cottage is a cosy little place it is beautifully decorated and furnished and spotlessly clean. The kitchen is tiny but very well equipped and had everything we could possibly need. The attention to detail is outstanding (fluffy towels, quality bed linen, super comfy bed and sofa) and we appreciated all the little extras (milk, teabags, coffee, hot chocolate). Lucy is a very attentive host and replies quickly to messages. I highly recommend Lucy's cottage and would love to stay there again.
