“Jane's place is set in a cozy wooded area just 15 minutes from Catamount Ski Resort. The house is clean, the kitchen is exceptionally well stocked, and the bedrooms are dark, quiet and comfortable. Jane provides thoughtful touches such as firewood, fire starter, and marshmallow sticks for s'mores, which our kids loved. There are lots of comfy places to curl up with a book - my favorite was the rocker/recliner. A word to parents of young children: the stairs are quite steep and the railing is spaced wide enough for a child to fall through. The babygates provided were not anchored to the walls, and therefore weren't a good solution for our very active (pushing/climbing) older toddler, but may work fine for a different family.”

“What a lovely, welcoming and breathtaking home! It took us weeks to find a place that checked all the boxes, and a host who made us feel comfortable to leave our small but safe home. Frank’s place was clean, cozy, easy to access, and was even better than the photos lead us to hope for. Soft sheets and towels, super responsive Nest heating, good water pressure, good shades, all necessary + more kitchen items, nice appliances...just every single base covered. He replied to all my questions within 10 minutes, if not faster. There’s a very cool selection of books as well, in case you want to curl up and read instead of stare out blissfully over the gorgeous lake. It was too chilly for us to take advantage of the deck and dock, but they both look welcoming and offer more lovely views. I absolutely recommend Frank’s place to anyone looking for a chill, classy and comfy place with stunning views and a responsive host in a cute area.”

“We chose this place because we wanted to ski and it is ten minutes away from Catamount. The house is lovely. We were five people and the space was perfect for us, enough to all watch tv, play board games, cook, etc. Everything is just like described on the listing. There is enough kitchenware for cooking. Appliances all worked perfectly, including the washer and dryer. Also the hot water and heating. No problems with bathrooms. There are books, and board games, and dvds available. Tvs in all three bedrooms with roku. Deb was very quick to respond every enquiry. There are no stores or restaurants close by and you do need a car to get around, but we were aware of this as it is clearly stated on the description. Our stay was very comfortable and enjoyable.
