This little cottage is a Rock Island Historic house. Nestled among the large Victorians, it was built in 1879 and housed various workers, from a blacksmith, to a wallpaper hanger! Located just blocks from the Mississippi River you can walk along a paved bike path with gorgeous views. In the evening enjoy the vibrant nightlife, with music and a dinner playhouse! This tiny historic cottage is great for a quick night, but perfect for class reunions, weddings and the John Deer Classic!

We are tall so we had to be mindful of the upstairs dormer ceiling, and the tiny stairway up was a bit of a challenge to our big feet, but what a dollhouse. It was a quick in and out, and meeting Carla was a joy. She is so enthusastic about the history and decor of the place. I whole heartedly recommend this place to any romantic out there who loves history and friendly hosts! Carla is tops!”

What guests are saying:“Best value for location. Emilie and Michael are very hospitable and their puppy, Lila, played with my dogs a lot. Their yard is enormous and fully enclosed so my dogs could unwind after the drive from Chicago. Their area is quiet and peaceful. Although this is a private room, I only ran into Michael and Emilie a few times. They have a robot vacuum, and as they have a friendly cat, I never once stepped on a piece of cat litter, which says something about how clean their place is. Will definitely book again.”
