That's exactly what you can experience in Jølet, the cabin that is specially designed to give an optimal feeling of closeness to nature. On the edge of a "jøl" (a type of riverbank), created by the river's thousand-year effort to reach the fjord, the cabin partially floats in the terrain. Situated completely by itself without close neighbors, but overlooking the cultural landscape and village, this is a perfect place for both relaxation and activity.

In this place you live at the top of the orchard at the farm Påldtun. Here you can enjoy a nice view of fjords and mountains. There is a short distance to the jetty. Here you can rent a boat and sauna or take a morning swim. You will experience life in the village with grazing animals and work that takes place in the season. When you stay in our orchard you are free to pick and eat the fruit that is on the farm. Short distance to Sandane city center. We accept bookings for mountain trips/fishing trips in our local area. Urke in Hjørundfjorden - cabin by the lake

Urke is a lively little village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming opportunities, shop with post office and pharmacy, garden center and own pub/cafe. The nature in the area is amazing. Sunnmørsalpane surrounds the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which has become very popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the URA. In the last couple of years, Urkeegga has also become a popular tourist destination. The mountains here are as popular for skiers in winter as for mountain trips in summer.

If you love mountains and hiking, there are great hiking opportunities in the immediate vicinity, where you can enjoy the view of Nordmøre's fjord landscape or try your luck at fishing. Spacious cabin with great views and hiking terrain right outside the door. The cabin is located near the ski resort (ski in/ski out) and nice prepared cross-country trails and floodlit trails are just nearby. The area also has great hiking opportunities on foot. Fjellsetra is a good starting point for many nice mountain trips in summer and winter. It is also a good starting point for a day trip to Geiranger and Ålesund. In the summer you can also fish in Nysætervatnet (must buy a fishing license).
