Urke in Hjørundfjorden - cabin by the lake

Urke is a lively little village and has everything you need; great nature, hiking and swimming opportunities, shop with post office and pharmacy, garden center and own pub/cafe. The nature in the area is amazing. Sunnmørsalpane surrounds the village with majestic Slogen and Saksa which has become very popular after Sherpas from Nepal have made steps up through the URA. In the last couple of years, Urkeegga has also become a popular tourist destination. The mountains here are as popular for skiers in winter as for mountain trips in summer.

Come home and enjoy the evening with good food on the grill and cozy around the campfire. The hot tub is ready to soften up after today's activity. Welcome to Solberget cabins! Newly renovated cabin (2024) with one bedroom, one bathroom and open living room/kitchen. Private private patio with outdoor fireplace, terrace and dining area. Here you can enjoy stunning views of Oldevatnet. It is possible to borrow a canoe, boat, washing machine and tumble dryer by arrangement. The cabin is located on a farm va 5 km from Olden city center, where you will find shops, gas station and cafes. Otherwise, it is a short distance to Briksdalen, Loen skylift and Stryn.
