Pigin Cottage was the perfect 4 day retreat for me and my dog. The cottage has everything you could need with many thoughtful touches. Rob has renovated the cottage to a high standard. Rob’s communication was very helpful before and during my stay. The location is peaceful and great place to connect with nature. Our early morning dog walks were brightened by birdsong (including a few raucous peacocks) and our late night walks were accompanied by the soft hoot of the owls. I left feeling totally refreshed and keen to return for more. Highly recommended.

Had a beautiful few days away here. The cottage is set in beautiful countryside, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the host was very accommodating.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dark Skies Cottage, set in a stunning landscape. The photos don’t do justice to how spacious and comfortable the cottage really is. We loved dining in the garden and cuddling up in front of the log fire in the evenings. The location was perfect, just a short drive from plenty of local activities and Richard was an attentive and thoughtful host, checking in to make sure we arrived safely and had everything we needed. We’d definitely love to return, but next time, we’ll be booking a longer stay, as neither we nor the kids wanted to leave!
