Kid-friendly holiday rentals in Rudnik District

We spent the Bavarian autumn holidays in Mateja's house. We enjoyed the house with three beautifully furnished and bright bedrooms and a great conservatory very much! Because the conservatory was so great, we stayed there for a very long time even though we had planned one or two excursions. ^^; Mateja is a super nice, proactive and attentive landlady. Hopefully we can come back.

We are 8 adults and 3 kids and we all had such a great time. The house is a very nice home with a great view and Barbara and Boštjan were very welcoming and friendly. Thank you very much!

Tina And Igor's cosy cottage is in peacefull neighbourhood. We enjoyed sauna & jacuzzi after hiking around two nearby lakes. Great place for retreat from city life in any season, and for longer stays in summer. Our hosts prepared a comprehensive list of places to visit, and they were friendly & helpfull.

This was a huge highlight of our trip. We were greeted by Blaz upon arrival who gave us a tour of the house and the farm. He spent over an hour showing the kids all of the animals at the farm. We enjoyed the fresh baked bread and jam from his mom. The house had everything that we needed and had tons of space. Every bathroom hand soap, toilet paper and even shampoo and body wash. There were plenty of towels and we were equipped with enough toilet paper for 3 days. They have frozen meat and vegetables in the freezer for purchase and fresh eggs as well. If you are looking for a brand new modern accommodation, this is not for you, but if you want lots of space, spectacular views, and to be surrounded by nature and animals, I would 100% recommend this. My kids wish we could stay here for the entire trip! Our car battery wasn’t working the morning we left & Blaz called the car rental for us & helped boost the car. The hospitality went far beyond they needed to do. THANK YOU!!

We had a great stay at Ludvik’s house ! Everything is very clean and well equipped and the bedrooms are very spacious with a nice garden ! Just know that the rooms can get very warm during hot summer months and the neighborhood (dogs) were very loud early in the morning.

Ana's house is very special. We really liked the location on the mountain with the tranquility and the great view and it did us a lot of good. Ana prepared us very well for the journey to the mountain and greeted us very warmly in person. We had been sent a video explaining each fork in the road. Ana is very lovable, she told us the story of the house and spoiled and surprised us with homemade products. My favorite place in the house was the balcony in front of the bedroom on the 1st floor. I sat there for hours in the sun at the end of September, protected from the wind. I can highly recommend the house!!!

Mario’s place was clean and just a 5 minute walk to Predjama castle. Beds were comfortable and they even left a bottle of wine for us.

The apartment is conveniently located near the city center, with many shops and restaurants within walking distance. It was clean, quiet, and comfortable—ideal for a short stay in Ljubljana.

Staying at Marko's was like settling on a Business flight with your eyes closed and enjoying your trip. From my reservation from home to check-out from the apartment, Marko was able to provide a detailed amount of instructions that made the experience really relaxing and real (just one night - it would have been great to have more vacation to stay!). Having only backpacks, we opted for public parking near Tivoli Park and the railway, but the place in the historic center was worth the walk. The apartment met the expectation: clean, tidy, intimate, highly-stocked and working. Thank you for this great experience, we highly recommend it.

Nice apartment with plenty of room. We really enjoyed the area as it was quiet but also easy to walk to city center. Everything was clean and tidy. This was my first stay where the apartment is lived in full time (host had food in the fridge and locks on many drawers and cabinets) but it didn’t effect our stay. We like to cook so the kitchen was perfect. Would recommend!

The place is great: there is a wonderful view from the balcony, the rooms are spacious, the kitchen is very well equipped, there is a parking space. We felt very comfortable there. The village is peaceful and located very close to Bled (10 minute walk from the lake). A lot of trails around, great for walking the dog.

Wonderful stay in Slovenia, apartment close to bus stops to visit the capital, very quiet and peaceful environment. To reach other cities we took the car and the apartment is well located by doing 100km on both sides you will find beautiful places, beautiful walks or bike rides with breathtaking landscapes, the lake tour and the panoramic views are excellent, great family destination. We'll be back for sure.

When arriving at a new place after a lot of travelling it is reassuring to have clear instructions on how to find the apartment and how to gain access. Igor provided exactly this. Very clear and easy to follow. Once in the apartment I was very pleased to find it just as described complete with handbook suggesting where to eat, shop and visit. I stayed for 5 weeks and the apartment was well set up for this length of stay. I also liked its position in the city. It was easy to walk to all the interesting places in the city as well as very easy to access the motorway to visit places further away. Highly recommended.

Natasa's place is in a great location: 5 min from the city center and 20 min walk from the bus station to take the bus. The space is large, spacious, and there's what you need. For the kitchen, the plates take time to heat but we cook without any problems. The apartment is clean, we felt very good there. Just a little dark because it's on the ground floor. Include a tourist tax that is requested throughout Slovenia. Loved our stay! A small restaurant 5 min walk: Priskofu. Great communication with Natasa:)

This is one of the few apartments I know where the photos match reality! Apartment is modern and tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort; there is hand soap, plenty of toilet paper, towels, tea towel, cleaning cloths, cleaning products, tea, coffee, and equipment for it. Plenty of lighting, seating, space to store your belongings and a nice shower (in both bathrooms). It is walking distance from downtown. There is a good bakery on the corner for breakfast. This is also the place where the airport shuttle can pick you up. A little further up is a supermarket. The only thing missing is private parking (if you need it) and a terrace/ garden to soak up the sun!

Had a great stay at TJs temple. Everything was perfect. Easy walking distance to city center. We arrived hoping to drop our luggage but instead cleaner was finishing up so TJ let us in early. So appreciative as we had been up for over 24 hours. Able to cook dinner twice on induction hot plate and even do laundry. All systems were working properly. Place is very comfortable with lounging couches and dining table. Even had extra spices etc on hand. We really enjoyed the accommodations and would recommend this place. Peaceful, quiet and the bed was comfortable. Also, there is an excellent bakery next door. Croissants, Slovenian cakes, strudel, bread etc.

Attractive, bright apartment in convenient area, close to station but also convenient to the historic district. All modern, attractive kitchen and bathroom, comfortable bed, thoughtful inclusions such as excellent coffee. Ideal for my stay in Ljubljana.

Very nice place and helpful host!

We stayed for a couple of days, it is in nice neighborhood and the city center was 25min walking. Apartment was clean and spacious but little more darker in kitchen because it hasn’t windows. Mihajlo was great host, responsive and flexible. I would recommend his place for staying.

We had a lovely stay, Beautiful flat in the old town of Lubljana, very nice and helpful hosts, we stayed here with our dog, everything was perfect, we would definitely come back :) Minor issue was the parking in the backyard, the neighbors seemed a bit sensitive about us parking there.

Rob is a nice host.He will proactively contact us on how to reach the apartment and also provide tourist data.Biscuits chocolate and drinks are also available in the house. It would be better if there was a washing machine.

We really enjoyed it! Ivy warmly welcomed us and we easily communicated at all times. The location is good for connecting to the center, but also to connect directly to the highway and visit the other beautiful parts of Slovenia. The apartment is nicely organized, decorated and clean. We do appreciate that Ivy left so many practical things which are rarely found once we travel somewhere, like: coffee, cookies, different oils, vinegar, cereals, spices, milk and personal hygiene products. Fully recommend it! 😊

We loved our stay at Marusa’s beautiful home. The ideal location for travelling around the Slovenia. Quick drive to Bled, Lake Bohinj and the surrounding areas. 10 minute walk into the beautiful town of Radovljica. Marusa and her family were lovely hosts, very responsive to our messages and made us feel at home. Apartment was very clean and functional. Would recommend to anyone travelling around Slovenia.
