Dista circa 50km da Torino e 60km da Aosta. Raggiungibile a piedi dalla stazione ferroviaria di Ivrea, in 30 minuti e 15 in bicicletta. La zona del "Parco dei 5 laghi" inizia a poche centinaia di metri, risalendo verso il castello. A meno di due minuti: due ristoranti, due bar e una pizzeria da asporto.
