The urban area is really nera the house and you can enjoy the lovely food in soem restaurants or just enjoy the natural landscape by wlaking around or just enjoy a nice drink in one of the river-fronts. Public transportations are not the best, but you can visit some of the surrounding towns if you are good in making plans... This is my home. I reconstructed it myself. It's full of love...

We are located in the Peneda-Gêres National Park, 5 minutes from the center of Ponte da Barca and Arcos de Valdevez, 30 minutes from Spain, 35 minutes from Viana do Castelo and Braga, and 1 hour from Porto.

This is a unique space, with stunning views of the waterfall and surrounding nature. Ideal for a weekend of adventure! Come prepared for poor cellular network and slow Wi-Fi, as the location is isolated. On the other hand, the sound of nature takes on a fantastic dimension, with the river water and birds surrounding us completely. Access is made (in the last 500 meters) by land and it is necessary to pay attention to the directions we provide so that you do not get lost.

Let yourself be enveloped by the tranquility of the north of Portugal and enjoy a getaway in the heart of nature with an unobstructed view of the mountains. The cabin has a large comfortable bed, a compact and functional kitchenette for simple meals, a covered terrace with overhead projector, a fenced private garden, a Smart TV and a barbecue. Wood and charcoal not included, "fireplace" pack available on site. Parking closeby. Pool accessible in July and August.

The house of "Sítio de Froufe" is located in Lugar de Froufe, in the parish of S. Miguel between both rivers in the municipality of Ponte da Barca, geographically within the territory of the Peneda Gerês National Park. What is now the "Sítio de Froufe" was for many years used as a shelter for animals and storage for agricultural products.
