Haus Ruth - a gem in the heart of the old town

Welcome to our family cottage. The house was built in 1860 as a „three-room house“ and acquired in 1966 by our family, which expanded it by a small extension with three rooms, so that now an area of around 56m² results. It is listed as part of the Neuruppin Old Town and ranks among the city's classical rows of houses, which at the same time means that it does not have its own garden and, in our case, no terrace. In summer it doesn't matter, because you are in the picturesque Fontana town all the time anyway, and on or off the water, in winter even less, because it is best to make yourself comfortable in the fireplace room. Even in the dining room with its still original tiled stove you can warm up from the city stroll - if you don't like to use the stove, just warm up with the electric heaters. Coal and wood are available for heating fireplace and tiled stove 2-3 times. Every now and then we like to use the house ourselves as a family, with friends and family. It is therefore privately furnished and a non-smoking house. Many guests describe our cottage as charming, because we have combined the old with the new and thus created a very individual, cozy atmosphere. During your holiday you have the small, single-storey house just for yourself. All windows have exterior blinds on the old town and courtyard side, which you can close at any time. You can use what you will find in compartments and shelves, in the kitchen and in the chamber. The food and spices in the kitchen are also at your disposal. Should you consume larger quantities, it would be nice to replenish the stocks so that the next holidaymaker will also find what they need. We hope that you will enjoy the special atmosphere in the small house so typical of Neuruppin's old town and feel comfortable. For the current reason, as landlord, I pay greater attention to compliance with cleaning and hygiene regulations. I follow cleaning guidelines based on recommendations from the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention.

Fully renovated apartment (75 m²) in a historic house (former barracks from the 18th century) with several residential units directly on the city wall overlooking Lake Neuruppin. The two-room apartment is located on the upper floor (a staircase) and consists of a large living area about 50 m² with American kitchen, small bedroom with double bed, bathroom tiled with tub and separate shower and underfloor heating. A small garage serves as a parking space at the house.

Get out of the stressed everyday life and into total relaxation in our 75 sqm, completely renovated, newly equipped apartment for 2 - 4 people with separate entrance and private terrace in the garden. Arrival by train is possible. Destination station: Neuruppin. Our apartment is located in Wuthenow, about 3 km from the train station. Buses run at regular intervals. The bus stop is about 100 meters from the apartment. Rental also possible for several months.

A stay in a stork village 2

We rent out 2 appartments. You are looking at the smaller unit. (The larger unit you find here: https://www.airbnb.de/rooms/21642508) The stable from 1891 was renovated into a 3-unit-home in 2016. The surrounding gardens are a work in progress. The property is quite large and you can always find a quiet and peaceful spot in the sun. The night sky is wonderful for star gazing. Up to 10 stork families nest in the village from April to August each year.
