Our place is on a gentle flowing river, close to waterfalls, walks and the Berkshire cultural sites like Tanglewood and Jacobs Pillow . You’ll love our place because of the river, the deck, the hot tub; complete tranquility and a home away from home. Close to some great sites and activities, far enough away to escape. Our place is good for couples, friends and solo adventurers. Snowboarders/Skiers (or snow bunnies) and families can have great fun too! Sit back, relax and enjoy our home!
“We had a wonderful time at Patrick and Fiona’s home! It was impeccably clean, large and comfortable. Lots of old home character. The river is lovely, and the hot tub was highly enjoyable. Just enough personal touches around the house to make it feel homey and give you an idea of the owners adventuresome spirits, without feeling like you’re an intruder. Very pleasant and relaxing place to stay! Carrie & Wade”

“We had an amazing time at Scott's cabin. The location is perfect - it is tucked away right next to a lake (~30 second walk down a path to the dock), and is a beautiful spot to visit in the fall. Scott's cabin is perfect for friends looking to get away for the weekend - there was plenty of room for each of us (4), with a wonderful deck, a spot for a fire, and close proximity to a beautiful lake. The cabin was clean, there were more than enough dishes for us to use to cook / eat with, and there was shampoo / conditioner / body wash / and plenty of towels. The location is great, too - close to quaint New England towns and tons of hiking, with more than enough privacy. Scott's instructions were very clear, and if we had any questions he was always quick to respond (never had to wait more than 5 minutes). He was incredibly flexible with our check in time, as we had a late arrival, and was always available to offer help or instructions. My friends and I are already looking forward to coming back for a trip next year!”
Built in the early 1800s, our renovated farm house can accommodate a large group or gathering. This 1600 square foot home can keep everyone together: three large bedrooms upstairs and an optional fourth downstairs. Large backyard and deck made for outside fun. Two full bathrooms, laundry, large farm table with seating for 10, and a full kitchen. South Quarter House was designed for you to relax and enjoy the woodsy surroundings, with over 20 acres of hiking woods behind the house.
“South Quarter House is a country gem. We spent two relaxing nights in this beautifully renovated farmhouse with modern conveniences, i.e. wood pellet stove, central heat, nice refrigerator. With four children running around (one of them a toddler) we appreciated the baby gates and that the pellet stove is not hot to the touch. Eric stopped by shortly after we arrived and gave us a quick how-to on the pellet stove. He was easy to reach and responsive throughout our stay. We were at maximum capacity in the house and there were ample pillows and blankets. The soaking tub in the upstairs bathroom was a nice perk after a long day of skiing. The house is clean, well-maintained, and oh so cozy on a cold winter night with friends and family. We all agreed that we would love to stay here again.”
