Thank you for your interest in The Cozy Lookout Tower! Our unique vacation home is really a destination location rather than just a place to stay while you explore the area. Many of our guests are repeat guests that use our home as a place to recharge, relax, cook, read, talk, play games and connect with that special someone. There are some lovely hikes in the area, we encourage you to bring your dog and enjoy the beautiful surroundings by taking some hikes then returning for a soak in the tub!

Beautiful guest cottage studio, with mountain views, in the southeast Bend neighborhood of Sundance. 15 minutes to town and 45 minutes to Mt. Bachelor ski area. This special ranch property is two blocks away from endless recreation in the Deschutes National Forest. (PLEASE NOTE; national forest access has been closed as of May 1, 2025-May 2027 for fire reduction and restoration. blm trails are open) Includes one king Sleep Number bed and one queen Murphy bed. Private hot tub out the back door.

Near the cabin is a trail head to a private hiking trail that takes the adventurer down into the canyon where the scenery is otherworldly. Inside, you’ll find knotty pine, a full kitchen, WiFi, and thoughtful touches. 30 min to Bend and Mt. Bachelor, 15 min to Sunriver — and far from the noise.

MASTER SUITE Go hiking, fishing, sight seeing and enjoy upscale steak houses, Sushi Bars, food carts, all within a couple of miles. Then come back to your Little Pine Cabin. The Outpost Bend

The Outpost is a seperate guest home located on our 10 acre hobby farm. It offers spectacular views of the Cascades, stunning sunsets and a peaceful, private location 15 minutes east of downtown Bend. The property adjoins public land, and is on a quiet country road. Our family lives onsite with our 3 sons, dogs, hens, and sheep. The Outpost has a private driveway, use of basketball court, and a lovely private outdoor seating area. 45 min drive to Mt. Bachelor.

We live around the corner with our kids, a golden retriever, and a few cats. Mike’s a local realtor, and Betsy manages business ops for the local fire department.
