Little piece of paradise really genius, enhanced camping mode with modern showers and toilets, plenty of linens, a kitchen with everything you need, and so kind hosts! The hut was very clean and what a pleasure to have breakfast on the open floor, what a pleasure to be hot at night without heating! What a fabulous experience we had!! They were so warm and caring and we were treated so well. The presentation of the breakfast and dinner was amazing and tasted wonderful. We booked one night and then stayed for 3 nights because it's a perfect central spot to visit the beautiful area (le mont saint Michel, Granville etc.) it's a beautifull house on the countryside, their interieur is tastefully stylish as their personalities are. They have loads of knowledge about history of the area and are happy to share tips and tricks for your vacation. They make a wonderful fresh breakfast for you and just support you in any way possible. If you are in this area you don't want to miss out on this unique experience!

Beautiful place in the countryside. Very nice and helpful hosts. Very nicely furnished. We had fresh flowers in the bedroom, bathroom and kitchen. The kitchen is small, but enough to cook simple meals. Great starting point to visit Mont-Saint-Michel and the castles of Fougeres and Vitre.

Beautiful villa located in the Norman countryside, clean, well equipped, spacious (we are 6), with a nice well-kept garden. In a strategic position to visit the main tourist sites of the region (mont saint Michel 40 minutes, the landing beaches, Caen, Bayeux less than an hour). In 30/40 minutes by car you can go to the sea: we suggest, at the suggestion of Norbert, the suggestive, wide and sandy beach of Saint Martin, ideal for boys, not particularly cold water.

We had a lovely stay at Nurbert’s cottage. The place is rustic but very well maintained, the garden was HUGE, the house big, we had the requires facilities. Truly wonderful experience. Highly recommended!

A very nice discover Sylviane welcomed us at the arrival in a very friendly way and explained us the whole house very clearly. The house is very nice with a beautiful garden where to relax after visiting the beautiful spots around; Normandy and Brittany. It is in a strategic position and we were able to visit more places. We stayed at Francine's House for two weeks and also our son (8 years old) enjoyed the place very much, thanks also to the game of Norbert's family... We enjoyed the nature around and the long summer evenings in the garden. Definitely we will try to come back.

This beautiful, relaxing home was the perfect place from which our family of four could explore Normandy. Everyone slept very comfortably. There was plenty of hot water for showers. The kitchen was fully stocked. We were able to do laundry. And we loved the beautiful garden! We even saw little animals, minks or weasels, playing in the yard in the evening. This home is surrounded by beautiful farmland. So relaxing and tranquil! From here we traveled to some of the D-Day beaches as well as Mont St Michel. We also spent a few hours exploring the nearby Villedieu les Poeles. What a nice town with convenient shopping.

Malcolm and Lesliee are the two best hosts I've had on my trip throughout France. Despite arriving at Malcolm's house at 11 p.m. he was waiting for me awake, we talked as we could understand each other in English, and we told each other many things. The house is beautiful, although a little away from civilization is perfect to disconnect in full nature from the beautiful Normandy. The room I stayed in was really beautiful, with my own bathroom that made me cool off after such a long trip and I slept like the angels in a very comfortable bed. When it dawned I could really appreciate the beautiful landscape of Normandy in which this kind couple lived for 20 years and the hospitality they offered me will never be forgotten by me. Lesliee prepared me a championship breakfast and we were chatting long and hard about her future trip to Spain where I recommended several places to visit. I would like to visit Normandy again and I would surely stay at Malcolm and Lesliee's house because they are great hosts.

The house is very instagram! I wanted to capture every corner of this nest in the Frame. It can be seen that everything is done with love. The house is beautiful, large and in October a little cold (or we did not figure out the heating). This place is much better than in the photo. And the heart of this house is Nana! Despite its large size (Great Dane), she is the kindest dog in the world.

We stayed in Julien’s home during a stressful time for our world, with the Covid 19 outbreak. We needed to escape the city of Paris and rest our minds for a weekend, and found Julien’s place in the middle of the Normandy countryside. It was everything we needed during this time of scare. Julien welcomed us as friends, into his home and gifted us a delicious bottle of Normandy cidre. We felt at home quickly and the stress of the times immediately fell off. We woke to a beautiful sunrise, followed by a long walk through the countryside. Everything was exactly what we needed. Thank you for being the most wonderful hosts we’ve had on airb&b. This is a lovely place to stay in rural France, very comfortable and homely. We didn’t use the pool as the weather was a bit cool but I’m sure it would be good in the height of summer. The village is very small and the bar/restaurant next door was closed for our first few days and very quiet all the time. Our host gave us information about another local restaurant that was great 😁

We had a lovely couple of days. The kids really enjoyed the pool (although it was freezing the inflatables were fun!) and feeding the donkeys and horse.

A lovely little cottage which is very cosy and great value for money with use of the little pool area. Great outdoor space and we had everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. The weather was unkind to us but the children still enjoyed using the pool when the rain briefly paused. The cottage is well located roughly an hour away for daytrips to coast or major towns like bayeux. Julie is a lovely host, very bubbly and kind and very quick to respond to minor queries we had. Fantastic Airbnb, we used as a stop off from Dieppe to Brittany, conveniently located, supermarket 10 mins drive away. Super space, excellent value for money. We were two adults and two young children who adored the outdoor space and the horse and donkeys in the back yard. We had plans for the beach but just spent the day in the pool and garden. The pool was very cold but kids still loved it! The house had everything we needed, very spacious bedrooms, huge bath. Would return without question!

Julie's place is very cute and very clean. Our stay was only for one night, but we wished we could have stayed longer! There are many thoughtful touches placed around. The kitchen was well stocked and we would have cooked there for sure if we had more time. The bathroom was very large, and served the 3 of us well. Well situated for our stay overnight coming back from the American Cemetery on the way to Mont St Michel. The sweet horse and donkeys looking over the fence in the morning was pretty great too! Together with my children aged 14 and 12, I really enjoyed this house and the hospitality! On the first floor is a cozy living room / kitchen with a door to a spacious roof terrace, with seating and a picnic table. The bathroom with spacious, luxurious bath was spotless, just like the rest of the house. The children had a nice attic where they slept. The pool, which was larger than I thought, was well used by the children, very nice that it was there! The house is in a small village, which is a great base for exploring Normandy. Julie was always available for questions, had good tips for the area, was very friendly and very hospitable. We would like to come back again!

Far from the heat wave, there is a quiet and serene corner of paradise where to rest. Between the adorable decoration, the comfortable facility, the pleasant terrace and the refreshing swimming pool, we had a great stay. The kindness and sense of hospitality of our hostess charmed us. The house breathed clean on arrival and was waiting for us with hot coffee and excellent pastries. We highly recommend the Moulin Lodge and will definitely come back.

Nice and spacious house located in the heart of Normandy between Caen and Mont Saint Michel and close to the gorges de la vire. Located in the center of Pont-Farcy small quiet town. Excellent communication with Emil who was waiting for us on the street when we arrived. The house is fully consistent with the description and excellent value for money. Our only regret is to have spent only one night (step on our way back from Brittany) and not having the opportunity to discover a little more the region. We will definitely stay there again.

Great place with perfect traveler-focused amenities. We would have loved to stay longer than just 1 night. The place is a little remote, but there is a bakery and tiny food store within a 3 minute walk. Squeaky floors in the upstairs area, but lots of room and great floor plan.

Four nights with family in Brian and Jeannette's house. Nothing to say, everything was perfect. A warm welcome from Brian and Jeannette who are very committed to making sure everything goes well. We had the pleasure of spending a very friendly moment by the fire with them in the barn. Five stars does not seem enough to rate our time in Jeanette & Brian’s beautiful gite. They went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. I can not fault anything at all. We stayed for a week with our three children (10-15yrs) and each of us would have loved to have stayed for longer! Only around an hour’s drive to both Mont St Michel in one direction and Dday beaches in the other amongst many other wonderful things to see like beautiful French food & architecture, markets, Bayeaux tapestry & more. A highlight was eating oysters fresh from the sea in Cancale (an hour’s drive) where you can see the oyster beds. The house was spotless, very comfy beds & lovely linen with everything we needed and more for cooking for ourselves with food we purchased from the local markets or supermarket (only 10 minute drive away). Beautiful French dinner out one night at Le Cécilia’s (5 minute drive). The kids loved the hot tub, the chickens & cooking marshmallows in the barn! We hope we get to come back one day soon!

Jeanette and Brian’s home was so welcoming. From the thoughtful touches with fresh eggs (from happy hens) and welcome gift, to the beautiful scenery and starry skies, this gite was beyond what my husband and I could have hoped for while visiting Normandy from the US for our tenth anniversary. We are so happy to have met Jeanette and Brian - they are so passionate about the home that they’ve renovated. They made us feel as if we had a true home in Normandy for the long weekend that we spent there. My only regret is that we weren’t able to have dinner with them. I wish we could have stayed longer. I can honestly say that I couldn’t recommend anything that would have enhanced our stay as it was perfect. Jeanette and Brian are fantastic hosts and add little thoughtful touches that enhance your stay such as putting a tent up to offer shade for the children in the garden. They are knowledgable about the surrounding attractions too. This a little gem of a place and we’ll definitely be back but for longer next time.

Wow! Jeanette and Brian have created a gem in the French countryside. We stayed with our two boys (6 & 9) and absolutely loved it. Very comfortable and spacious accommodation. The kids loved the outside space, checking for eggs and roasting marshmallows. All topped off with friendly, welcoming hosts and sunsets in the hot tub. We’ll be back.

Jeanette and Brian have worked hard to create a beautiful setting for any stay. With so many thoughtful touches from fresh eggs from their happy hens to soft slippers and comfy robes, this Gite really surpassed our expectations. Watching the sunset from the hot tube, star gazing, relaxing by the fire.... a really magical stay. We will definitely be coming again!

Apple Tree Hill is a tranquil escape that fully lives up to the rural French idyll. Brian and Jeannette are the perfect hosts making you feel welcome but not crowding you. The accommodation is first class and has everything you could wish. The WiFi was excellent which is useful with two older children with us. We could genuinely relax and chill out. It’s a super spot with super hosts.
