This is an old private house that has been built for more than 100 years like a Kyoto townhouse on the Otaki-jo Castle Town Street, which is called Koedo in Boso. Otaki Castle (one of the Tokugawa Ieyasu Shitenno Honda) and nationally designated important cultural properties are preserved, and the old castle town, which is rare in Chiba, spreads nostalgia. It is a location with the sea, mountains, a river for swimming, a valley, and a black-water hot spring.(Within 10-30 minutes by car) You can use it as a base to enjoy the nature of Boso.Lake Takataki is famous worldwide for its smelt fishing, the reversal of magnetism hundreds of thousands of years ago, and the Chibanian.(Visitor centre scheduled to open in three years' time) The facility is located overlooking the Isuzu River and is built on a bedrock foundation. When coming by car, it is 20 minutes from the Ichihara Tsurumai Interchange on the Ken-O Expressway. It takes 80 minutes by express bus from Tokyo Station to Otaki. It is just under an hour by car from Haneda Airport and an hour and ten minutes by car from Narita Airport. The nearest station is Otaki Station, which is a 12-minute walk away.(Due to the derailment of the Isumi Railway, some sections will be operated by the Isumi Railway substitute bus)

There is also a queen-size bed and a traditional Japanese "kotatsu" (a low table in summer) in the room, so you can sit on the low sofa and watch TV or eat, and have a comfortable stay. You can enjoy a comfortable stay while experiencing a Japanese kotatsu (or a chabudai during the hot season). The room has a queen-size bed where two people can sleep comfortably, a "kotatsu" that is unique to Japan, and a low sofa that doubles as a low table in the summer, so you can relax and enjoy your stay. It is also possible to sleep in the "futon" with kotatsu, so it can accommodate up to 3 people. (Please be aware that it can get quite cramped if you have a lot of luggage, etc.) When three people are staying, it is possible to move the kotatsu closer and sleep with the futon, but we recommend a maximum of two people for a more comfortable stay. Although it is a Western-style room with a queen-size bed, it is a comfortable room where you can also enjoy a Japanese, traditional atmosphere. You can relax and enjoy your stay in a room with an interior that evokes a sense of Japan.
