Bed & Breakfast Appeltern is located in the fruity Land of Maas and Waal, in the vicinity of cities Nijmegen, Tiel and Oss. A picturesque setting characterized by water and nature, where a night goes hand in hand with a holiday feeling. Overlooking the Water, our monumental long farmhouse which formerly part after a major restoration serves as a bed and breakfast or group accommodation. We have five tastefully decorated rooms, each with a private bathroom, and a cozy living room with kitchen. When the weather permits, dine outside of your own garden and you know that it still exists: the true idyll! ps. if you want to enjoy breakfast, this can be additionally booked in our teahouse or garden (which is located in our garden)

Hof van Dennenburg - Luxury guesthouse in farmhouse

Our luxury apartment (60m2), in the converted stable of a beautiful thatched farmhouse, has a separate bedroom (double box spring) with French doors opening onto a spacious garden with seating, a garden room (20m2) and sun loungers. The apartment has a private sauna, hot tub, shower and toilet. And nice living room & fireplace. If you would like to make use of breakfast or the sauna, there is a small fee (€15 per person for a luxury breakfast and €50 for the sauna for the whole weekend together). Minimum 2 nights.

The Ouwe Stal in Schaijk

De Ouwe Stal has a cozily furnished living room with a gas fireplace, TV, DVD player and sound system. In the kitchen, all modern facilities are available, such as a 5-burner gas stove, refrigerator, microwave, oven and dishwasher. Wi-Fi is also available free of charge. There are 4 spacious bedrooms with 2 separate single beds (box springs). The rooms each have a bathroom with walk-in shower, sink and toilet. The accommodation has its own terrace, garden and private driveway. Welcome!

Our patio garden house is located behind the house, hidden from the outside world. In the spacious garden, you have a lot of freedom. Enjoy the flowers, plants, ornamental chickens and sheep in the meadow. Haren is a beautiful village located in the countryside, where it is wonderful to cycle in nature, for example along the Maas, nature reserve De Maashorst or Herperduin. In this soothing, luxurious accommodation with its own kitchen, you can relax and/or have a good conversation.

Sometimes you don't need a holiday, but a place where you can take a breather.🌿🤍 Wellness Lodge Slapen aan het Ven is tucked away on a private estate, right on the shore of the protected Wijchens Ven, surrounded by nature and yet only a few minutes from Nijmegen. 🏡 Here you wake up to birdsong, enjoy the morning fog over the water, and feel the calm slowly taking possession of you. With Tukken op de Tol, we have created a stylish place where you can quickly feel at home. Our cottage is equipped with all comforts, including a fully equipped kitchen, a nice bed and a lovely rain shower. Tukken op de Tol is a stone's throw away from the picturesque fortified towns of Grave and Ravenstein. A day of shopping in Den Bosch or Nijmegen, relaxing at Thermen Berendonck or cycling in the beautiful surroundings along the Maas; possibilities abound!

A place just for you

Do you need a warm place for yourself? Relax and unwind in this peaceful, stylish vinted space. This studio/tiny house is indoors in our farmhouse. From the balcony, you have a view of the river Maas. You live on our property with the animals and in the summer with a few more guests who stay in caravans. It's quiet here but not silent. So you really hear a car, the flushing of our toilet or the lawnmower of the neighbors. People from the city find it quiet here!

Huis de Wimpel

Discover the Peace and Beauty of Nature at "Huis de Wimpel" in Schaijk. Huis de Wimpel is carefully furnished to meet all your needs. On the ground floor, you will find a fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, combi microwave/oven and dishwasher. The upper floor is your personal oasis of peace. This consists of a bedroom with a comfortable double bed. Outside, two terraces await you, perfect for a drink in the afternoon and evening sun or in the shade.

The house is full of comforts and offers views of the water. With no less than five terraces, including two cozy verandas, one with a wood-burning stove, there is always a place to relax. The bathroom has a lovely rain shower. On the ground floor, you will find a spacious bedroom with a king-size bed and a single bed. On the first floor is a double bed in a separate open space. The large lawn is perfect for a game of soccer or badminton!

In the guesthouse you immediately feel the relaxing atmosphere. Through the use of natural materials and the view of the garden and the animals, you can really experience the countryside. Outside, you can encounter all kinds of animals, like a hare or a pheasant. And of course the chickens and the alpacas. On the lounge set you see from the guesthouse, you can relax. You walk right into the meadow to get to know the alpacas up close.
