Great Location, super comfy bed, awesome deck, excellent host. All this with fresh coffee beans, a grinder and a French press! So perfect, we booked for a second stay!

Wow is all I can say! It was an amazing trip and the place was just fantastic. Very warm vibes and so cozy. The details were amazing and my friends I even took a look at the book selections! Don’t get me started on the balcony with a beautiful view. It is a great location, it’s easy to get anywhere and not to far from the local hot spots. I was a very needed guest if I do say so myself and the communication and accommodation was phenomenal! I would love to stay here again.

It was a short but fantastic stay. My family & I appreciated the manner in which Ian worked to accommodate our early luggage drop from a super early flight. He had incredible patience and even helped when my kid forgot his bag in our Lyft after being dropped off! We felt in good hands and his place was everything that was mentioned in the listing. We would definitely stay here again.

Seth and Dorit were great hosts. They answered all my questions in a timely manner and also accommodated my early check-in request, which I really appreciated. The room was cozy and had everything I needed to be comfortable, plus a bit more! There was plenty of privacy, the street is quiet, and it’s close to many main attractions. I’m glad I chose to stay here during my trip!

Seth and Dorits place was a nice space to call home base during a quick weekend trip to San Diego! The location was great to access Balboa Park and Northpark. If you’re sensitive to light while sleeping, a sleep mask may be helpful due to the skylight. Although the water pump will make some temporary sound when using the bathroom, the rain head shower is wonderful and very relaxing.

A wonderful space with the most caring hosts you will ever meet!

Chris and Jean's place is so, so lovely- a perfect little sanctuary in the city. From Chris and Jean's, we were able to spend loads of time in North Park and South park via walking, and most everywhere else we wanted to visit was only a short lyft (including the coast). We enjoyed staying in and spending time at the studio, also! One night we skipped the night out in the city and made a fire in the chiminea outside and enjoyed our time in the peacefulness that is Chris and Jean's. Not to mention you get lots of dog love while there, which was one of our favorite parts!

Just want to say thank you again to Kathleen and Kirk as they were very warm welcoming and pleasant hosts, great hospitality and had a bunch of adorable cats as well. I would definitely recommend staying here as well as wood Return if found myself back in San Diego.

We enjoyed meeting and staying with Kathleen and Kirk. Their home is a gem and we were treated with wonderful hospitality. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and wine and a soak in the hot tub in the evening. South Park and North Park are destinations in themselves and close enough to downtown to be convenient. We recommend to anyone, especially if you love cats!

This place is beautifully decorated with a surprise in every corner. The cats are very friendly and will go in the room if left open so as they mentioned if you are not a cat person this isn’t the place for you. And the location in EXCELLENT!! Just minutes away from SD zoo and has a lot of great food options if you are foodies.

If your like me and research before you pick a spot that just ticks all the boxes. This is the spot. It was a welcoming environment. Super comfortable bed. An amazing shower. It was very peaceful filled with subtle touches that make everything comfortable. I really enjoyed the garden. Seeing and hearing the sounds of nature all around was very tranquil. It was too bad it was in the middle of the coronavirus as you’re in the perfect location for all the great restaurants brewpubs, and shops that normal heights has to see and offer. Absolutely loved everything about this bnb, from the adorable plants everywhere & pretty stone walkway to the super comfy bed and amenities provided! Everything was clean, and it is the perfect spot close to everything as well. John & Nina respected the privacy but were super accommodating.

The studio had every amenity you could possibly want, and the location was perfect. The parking space is through a gravel back alley however, with a lot of potholes and it was raining, which wouldn't normally be a big deal if I didn't drive a low sports car but otherwise it was a perfect stay and we would come again! Great communication.

Quiet, cozy and clean studio within walking distance to Adams Ave. restaurants, pubs, & stores! Played at friendly open mic at Lestats. So fun! It was unusually cool for a couple of nights so glad I had a bathrobe! Heater helps! John and Nina were very quick and responsive to questions which we appreciated.

Camila is an excellent responder and all the bathroom essentials were plentiful! The space is so awesome and my boyfriend and I were lucky that our pup could join us. We used the grill and it was so easy to use!! The studio provided lots of bbq utensils and there were useful kitchen amenities. It is residential parking instead of meter parking, so it was fairly easy. Would stay again:)

Great space for two or three, maybe even 4! We had a fantastic time in the studio. Hillcrest was easily accessible and many places are within walking distance. Highly recommend this place if you’re looking to be close to Hillcrest and explore the city. It is a studio so it is not super spacious in the restroom but you do what you need and get out. A/C and fan combined keep the space nice and cool at night. Ran out of TP during our stay and Camila was responsive and available to help. I participate in recreational activities and it was not a problem to partake right on the sidewalk. Great neighborhood full of flowers and plants I’d never seen!

This was one of the greatest airbnb experiences I've ever had. Check in and out were easy, the space was very clean, and the view from the back windows is beautiful. I chose to cook dinner in the apartment and the kitchen had everything I needed! The back deck gets great sunlight in the mornings and feels very private, so it was a great spot for coffee. There's not a lot within immediate walking distance, but parking was plentiful during the day and it was a really easy drive to and from the airport!

This place satisfies my needs every time I stay here.

I really love staying in this spot. Second time here. Really comfortable setting and thoughtfully decorated for a rustic look and it’s very well kept. There is a DVD player and PlayStation in the bunk house with plenty of games and movies. Didn’t try to use it but I can see it being a really cool feature for some.

Warm, friendly hosts who give private spaces with lots of access to amenities. The bunk house and teepees are clean, warm, and have VERY comfortable CLEAN beds. Bathroom is large, clean, and stocked, but a bit away from the bunkhouse, but the path is well-lit at night. If you're a person who gets up to pee in the night, might want to consider their bedroom listings. For the price, this is still exceptional. The bunk house was private and away from the house, yet I felt secure. Will be staying again!

Amazing place, I am back once more. This is my third time so I really recommend this place since offers everything I need: hospitality, accuracy, great hosts and guests, I love the style of the place and the amenities offered and conveniently located.

They have a property with multiple room spread out over it and various garden features/things in process of being made. It was convenient for getting to Alpine, check in was easy, and common areas were accessible and comfortable. It was great for my needs.

Our much needed getaway was an absolute success! This place is beautiful, and in a spectacular location. Plenty of room for spreading out (social distancing), and yet enjoying the amenities. We cooked all our meals in the spacious kitchen, or outside on the BBQ. Plenty of seating for enjoying the food, watching the amazing sunsets, and lounging around the pool. Checking in and out was a breeze. We had several deliveries of food and beverages, especially due to the current restrictions, and every one was punctual, and easy to manage. Communication was also very quick and informative. All of our minor questions were promptly answered. We will return to this fantastic place!

A true vacation get away. Myself and four of my friends cane from New York to spend a weekend at this beautiful home and I can tell u that it was well worth it. All around amazing hospitality, clean home, quick responses, and understanding. I hope to come back here again one day if given the chance to enjoy this relaxing getaway home.

The place is great!

This place is really amazing and special. The trails are so expansive and we spend hours walking around outside with our dogs. At night we laid out on huge boulders watching the stars. The view is spectacular at all times of the day and night— but especially the sunset. My wife and I felt really connected to this place. We had the entire place to ourselves.. previous comments mention that Antonio or his mother were there but that is not the case anymore. We live in Ocean Beach and this will be our new vacation spot!

I had a great stay at Jennifer's airbnb. The room and bed were comfortable. The hosts were kind and friendly. Parking was right in front of the house. I had a quick overnight for an interview the next morning, and my stay was smooth and pleasant.

This place was exactly what I needed in a room. Comfortable and clean, clean restroom, and thoughtful amenities like a mini fridge in the room as well as access to internet and TV. Room is also secure with your secure door, as well as smart lock on main entrance. Trenton was quick at responding the couple times I needed to be in contact with him. Great host!

I was there for almost 2 weeks. I just recently moved to California from Maryland for work and needed a place to stay until my place was ready. This was my first time using air bnb's service and this visit was beyond what I expected. Trenton is very friendly and provides a safe atmosphere for me to be in. I love the smart locks on home entrance and room entrance, it really made me feel safe. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Jamie concerned carefully for us to stay privately. We spilt a coffee all over the table runner but she told us that is nothing:) On the first day we didn’t know that able to turn on the the heater, so slept very cold, but it solved next night. We thought that the bathroom is in the bedroom but it is seperate. highly recommend Jamie’s place with a nice price!!

I highly recommend Brett's ArtStudio! If you have the chance to stay at this apartment, don't hesitate. It's really spacious, clean and comfortable, with nice and thoughtful touches... perfect to feel like home. You can't really see that on the pictures but the apartment also comes with a huge kitchen! Also Brett himself is a wonderful host who is going beyond expectations! I spent 3 amazing months in the ArtStudio and I definitely want to come back!

Brett’s place is honestly such a gem in the heart of San Diego. The studio is very spacious and well-kept. The place had stainless steel appliances and a beautiful bathroom. Location is perfect: clean, safe and close to everything. Condo and complex are nice too. Condo has top notch shower system so it's a big plus for those who likes European style shower. Brett is extremely organized and detail oriented person. Everything has it's own label in his place, we found that system very helpful. Highly recommended!

Was a great stay. Eileen is very nice and Mimi is awesome too. Private room and bathroom as advertised and was a pleasant experience especially for the value. Just make sure to have a car ,in my opinion, as everything can be a bit far without it even though there are busses.I didn’t use them to know how efficient they are. But great overall experience and was very happy.

The space was nice and clean and spacious. Everything was there that we needed. The neighborhood was quiet, even at night. I didn’t have any issues finding the place or unlocking the lock boxes. I especially liked the balconies.

Nice apt in a gated community made us feel safe staying here. The parking is super convenient to the apt which was appreciated. The apt was clean and perfect for our family of four. If you’re looking for a fully equipped kitchen, I would confirm with the host that it has what you need. We needed a cookie sheet, measuring spoons, measuring cups and a mixing bowl - couldn’t find any of those. Not a deal breaker at all, but I wish I had known. Other than that, it was a perfect stay! The beds are amazingly comfortable! Very convenient to much of what San Diego has to offer! Quick and courteous responses from the host were also appreciated. If we ever need to return to El Cajon, we will definitely consider this property again.

We stayed in the tent camping area; it was a great place inside and out. First, the tent was very comfortable loaded with everything for a comfortable sleep. Second, the outside area was private, excellent for when you want time to yourself. Suggest that you bring two small coolers for drinks but you can use their refrigerator in the common area. Wifi in the common area excellent but could be better in the tent area. Overall this is an excellent place to go and enjoy the large 10 foot deep pool and wonderful hosts! Highly recommend you try this for yourself. If the tent isn't your style then rent the cottage, either way you cannot go wrong! Excellent place and hosts!

We had a great time staying in the Yome and hanging out in the pool! The property is set up with colorful art around. Beautiful pool and wildflower garden. Loved the outdoor bathroom/shower. Yome felt very private and relaxed and slept great! Very comfortable :)

We were a bit hesitant to stay in a yurt, because neither of us had ever been glamping, but we were blown away. The yurt was clean, warm and beautiful. The pool and hot tub were nice and the outdoor (private) shower and bathroom were so cool! We were nervous about the noise because the tent was close to the highway, but there was a white noise machine in the tent that covered it all up! Heather and Robert were awesome hosts, and they were quick to respond to all our questions and check-in and check-out were seamless! We only stayed a night but will definitely be back!

Wonderful place to stay!

Casita Vibes were JUST what the doctor ordered #EpicStayCation

Cozy, quiet, private little spot, great for good rest and a nice shower. If you're really into cooking, there's only one electric burner available, a microwave and a mini-fridge - but still all the basic cooking utensils if that works for you. No sink in the bathroom - the kitchen sink does double duty. Floor is concrete which I am sensitive to in terms of no shock absorption while walking around or exercising (the Murphy bed folds up if you need more space), but my husband liked the floor a lot. Nice, big TV with access to some apps. Cool perk: a plug-in mini-neck and shoulder massager, which I used often after a long day. The location works for us in terms of being close to family, and we have no problem possibly staying here again if they'd have us! Ample parking on the street - we always had a spot right outside the casita. Private entrance, no need to mingle closely with the hosts in this time of social distancing. We would recommend!

Clean quaint safe stylish place in a safe neighborhood .

First time and I couldn’t have picked a better place. This was a perfect spot that was very private and cozy.

My fiancé and I stayed here for a night and had a wonderful time! It was such a cute place. We had no problems with staying here at all and the host was so accommodating with everything. Her communication was flawless and so quick! We would definetly stay here again!

It was a pleasant stay, nice quiet area, the casita was left to us to enjoy, however when we booked this listing, it noted that there was a space to cook own meals and figured there was a stove and there isn’t a stove. Also needed space to do some work and also noticed that listing indicated there was a table or desk with space for a laptop and the only thing I saw was a fold up table however it was not approachable since it had books and jar of candy on top of it.

Staying here was a delight! We were beyond happy. Definitely saved under our favorite Airbnb in San Diego! The space was perfect had everything we needed. It was the perfect get away. Thank you Delissa and Andrew!

Great place

I highly recommend this host ! Everything down to the house decor was perfect. Even had a gym to use. (Just didn’t get around to it) lol. Trenton is a very respectful host. He helped me check in and showed me how to use the locks. Also was very very responsive! I will book this location again. ☺️ I have not one bad thing to say. My bed was so clean and comfy also had a fridge that had water in it!

Trenton is a good host, he welcomes you in and shows you how to use the locks where the bathroom is and let’s you do your thing, it’s a good value and I felt safe in his house! Thanks, would book again for sure!

Super cute and cozy place. Bed was comfortable. Had a nice area for my dog to go and hang out. Nice and clean too!

Ohana was very relaxing. The bed was super comfortable. The place is very private and access to the backyard was just out the door. The fire pit set up is great for relaxing under the stars. It was perfect for what we needed. Netflix and video games were provided. Although we didn't need them, note that there is no dishwasher, oven, or washer/dryer. It was very stylish and relaxing. A very cute amenity was the faux fireplace in the main bedroom. It provided nice night decor, as well as produces heat. Thankful we found a great place we will use in the future when needed. We love La Mesa, CA.

Very simple, cozy and warm space at a good location.

Eva is an outstanding host, very quick responses to all communication, very accommodating, and gave an all around amazing experience at her place. The space itself is REALLY nice, it's very stylish, comfortable, the couch in the sitting area is a great bonus, the bed was WAY comfortable, I didn't want to get out of bed, such a treat! Nice size modern kitchen, big bath, everything is super clean, it's got high ceilings, steps that go up to the kitchen and bath area which adds some depth to the place, great internet too. The pictures don't do it justice, it's even better in person. Definitely book it, you'll be very happy, and it's a beautiful neighborhood too. Thanks Eva!

Reasonable price for a whole place to yourself. It’s kind of like a studio area spacious enough for 2-3 people. Clean, neat and bed is comfortable. A lot of amenities is provided which is beneficial. A bit cold during the night but my stay was great.

This place was great and Gretell was very kind. Nice interior, convenient location in a nice part of town, all you need for a stay near SD. Would recommend!

My husband and I only stayed for one night, it was really great. I love the hospitality, and how attentive Grettel & Shawn were. The location was beautiful & so peaceful. I also thought it was such a nice gesture for them to greet us with a small gift, since it was our 1 year anniversary. Overall great experience, just exactly how they describe it on their bio. Once again thank you Grettel & Shawn for being part of our mini getaway, we hope to be back soon here.
