This place is magical. Alex and Dennis have created a place that comes close to paradise! We could not get enough from the great views, hanging around the beautifully and comfortably arranged pool house and pool and exploring LA from this perfectly situated location. I can recommend this place and Alex and Dennis as hosts 100%. You will never want to leave. We will definitely come back!

Hosts were very communicative throughout our visit. They provided refreshments, snacks, toiletries, and a recycling can (which we very much appreciated!). The notes and instructions about the property were excellent; this allowed us to be very self-sufficient and we were able to come and go when we pleased without feeling like we were disruptive. We were pleasantly surprised to see all of the night lighting and decor in the back patio on our first night. Driveway was much steeper than anticipated, but we worked around how to get up the hill without issue. Overall, we enjoyed our visit and would recommend their space to others.

This is an amazingly beautiful place to stay. The view from the house is breathtaking. Easy access to highways and located in a great neighbourhood, with vast options for shopping and restaurants. oh, and did I mention the views...the view is simply gorgeous.

DNA are professionals in this game so if your going to stay anywhere this is it! I had the best time ever the place is so awesome you’ll never want to leave to go anywhere again. From all the small things to the big DNA made this trip spectacular! Definitely will be back!

This was a wonderful experience! Alex was there to greet us and show us the ropes. If we had a need the response was immediate and yet we never felt smothered. The accommodations were beautiful as was the pool and views. Very nicely located and yet a sense of privacy. We will definitely turn to DnA whenever we need accommodations in LA!

This vintage home is ideal for 2 people. It s location provides panoramic views from its multiple architectural windows. Located on a high, secluded canyon above Maibu, it is private, quiet and set amongst a handful of multimillion dollar houses. The house has two levels. I was in the lower. Since the property is large and terraced the spaces have separate approaches and entrances providing privacy. The furnishings are carefully selected mid-century items. One can cook small meals in the simple kitchen and then dine on the most charming terrace with extaordinary views. I particularly enjoyed the elevated location. In one direction you are 8 minutes from the coast with the best beaches and in the other you are able to enjoy drives through high mountain terrain. The hosts David and Ling were quick to communicate and provided a very helpfull downloadable guide to the area which I used to visited almost all the places recommended. Additionally, if one wants to get back to LA for any event , 25 minutes puts you on Sunset Blvd. You may leave for the day but long to return to this gem of a spot.

incredible view! staying here is worth that alone. if you're on a budget, stay downstairs...if you can spend for the top place (the retreat) it's worth it. if you're sensitive to footstep sound/a light sleeper or working while staying at the hideaway it's not ideal but still a beautiful spot on earth.

Great location with easy access to Malibu and the Santa Monica Mountains via the beautiful canyon road drives. Don't eat at the Saddle Peak Lodge. The quality of food is way below the hype. Very disappointed. We should have known when there was not many people eating there.

The Hideaway was great! my girls and I had a wonderful vacation; the location was perfect and the view was breathtaking. The house is close to Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier and many other wonderful places, we really enjoyed Zuma Beach it was a nice relaxing beach. David and Ling were great Host's and responded to my inquires right away. They were very accommodating due to our very early morning arrival flight and gracious enough to let us check in early. We would love to come back one day and stay at their Retreat property one day.

This place is awesome!

The property was amazing! It was exactly as pictured and more beautiful than the pictures! I instantly fell in love with the area, the natural beauty, views, and rustic comfort of the home. A very relaxing fun space to be in. It was like a peaceful retreat in the mountains with amazing, amazing views. We enjoyed the natural beauty, and hummingbirds and fresh limes added to the experience. A great family reunion in California! We want to come back for sure!!

It was a beautiful stay at Ling and Davids apartment. All our expectations were exceeded. It is all exactly like in the pictures and descriptions. For us, it was a great experience to have 'our little home' during our one week stay in Malibu. Communication between us and David was always friendly and he answered super fast. We seriously are thinking of coming back there.

I fell in love with the place from the pictures and it was just as i imagined in real life! It's rustic glamping at its best. Beautiful nooks to sit enjoy a cup of coffee and wonderful views. Very peaceful and Lydia's dogs were the sweetest. Felt like we had our own security with them on the property. Didn't get to meet Lydia this time around but communication was fast and she was nice to send her friends over to check and make sure all is good. Miss the moon room already!

Had a wonderful time at this special place. I've never seen something like this before and I'm so happy I've had this experience. I would recommend it to everyone.

If you're looking for a relaxing holiday and getting back to nature, this is the place for you. We had a wonderful weekend away in this rustic haven set in the stunning Topanga Canyon. The hosts, both Lydia and Dean are very kind, down to earth, caring people who made our stay wonderful. They were extremely welcoming, helpful, accommodating and put the extra effort in to making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. Will definitely be coming back !!!!

I had a nice 3 night stay at Lynn's interesting home in the Long Beach area just after the XMAS2018 holidays. Lynn had understandable house rules, and helpful tips for local items. I also could park my car at her property too. Good location to nearby downtown Long Beach things to do (Queen Mary ship tours, Catalina Express to Catalina Island, etc.) Thanks again Lynn... ;-)

Lynn and Zeke were such great hosts, and were so accommodating to me and my friend staying at their adorable Airbnb! Such a cozy place, would definitely recommend to anyone staying in the area.

My girlfriend and I wanted to experience something new. We been looking for spots around the Hollywood Hills and found this rare beauty! Very charming place and unexpected. We had a nice stay with nice views of the city. Mathias was extremely nice and helpful. I give this place 11/10.

AMAZING VIEW. It was on a crisp cloudy day but the view was still incredible. We loved the self check in and the secluded Hollywood hills as privacy was very important to us. Another thing we loved most was the way we could open all the windows to allow tons of fresh air in (a rare activity to do in the city).

Mathias’ place was incredible and I’m so glad I had the chance to finally stay there.

Great getaway in my favorite part of the city! The tree house like space was magical, the views were amazing, and Mathias was a great and helpful host.

Absolutely Stay here if you can. My girlfriend and I had this the week of the 4th of July and we were both shocked and how perfect it is. The view is unbelievable and was so perfect to watch fireworks all night. Also being from out of state, Mathias recommended multiple restaurants and things to do that really made the experience so perfect! 5 star experience for sure

This is a real little treasure. In the middle of all the hustle and bustle of LA, we felt like we were in a secluded bush getaway. Mathias was super helpful and very quick to respond with tips and information to help us navigate our way around Los Angeles and the local neighbourhood.

Very cute retreat from the bustle and noise of the city. Lots of details which make the Hobbit house super cozy. It rained all weekend so there was water in the floor but I had been told there might be- it wasn’t a problem. Kept things up on second bed.

Such an exiting place ! My kids loved it , It was really Cosy , i wish we had more time to stay . Always dreamed of sleeping in a hobbit house . Lots of playful details . Great stay and fun memories!

Great little cozy place in a lovely location. It gets quite hot as it's in the ground but there are plenty of fans in the room so it's not an issue

The hobbit house is a different Airbnb with a fun personality. About a 20 min. Walk from the Marina Del Ray Marina and 15 minutes to the airport. I didn’t realize when booking that the bathroom and shower were disconnected from the house, but since the sun was shining it was ok.

You can expect what it says, the place has a very special magic and is full of positive energy, Lovely

This place was perfect. It was like camping but without the bugs. If I am ever back in LA would definitely stay there again.

Michael’s studio is wonderful! It’s in prime location near Griffith Park and Universal Studios. My husband and I felt at ease to lounging and watching movies from the projector after a long day of LA sight seeing. All the furnishings are stylish and the bed was comfortable. Coffee and filtered water were great perks!

I've had experiences staying at a lot of Air BNB's, and Michael & Kayren's was easily one of the better ones I've booked. The space is more so what I would call an "accidental Air BNB" though. What I mean by this, is that it seems like using this for Air BNB was an afterthought (this is a compliment). It's so nice and comfortable, that you would think it's main function was as a dedicated family guest house only, or like the description states, a "retreat", because it surely is. As far as parking, it is a little tricky, mainly at night, as there's only street parking available; morning/afternoon isn't too bad at all of course, and you should be able to find something right in front, or just within a few houses down. If I had to do it all over again, I'd make sure to lock in a good spot during the day, and just Uber everywhere at night, trust me. I think I read one reviewer confused or annoyed why the hosts do not offer parking in their driveway, but once you're in there, it's pretty obvious that there's just NO room, or barely any. As far as walkability, it's pretty decent, although we didn't do too much exploring by foot, w/ exception to the great coffeeshop around the corner, "Bolt," which was a good spot to setup and knock out some work at, as this was more of a business trip. My girlfriend was actually fine just working from the unit itself though, as it was such a comfortable and nice environment to be in. Plus, it has everything you need, including coffee and all the standard amenities, plus some. If I was really forced to state any negatives, the only thing I could really say was that the bathroom is a bit small, and the shower handle is a little stiff, but that can be fixed. Overall, I'd love to stay here again, as it was close to perfect. I'd heartily recommend this to anyone, it's a SOLID value and has "vacation" written all over it; I described it as an 'urban cabin'. Book w/ confidence!

Centrally located, and very cozy! Excellent place to stay!

Mike was really helpful and helped us a lot during our stay. The place is quite unique, and staying here made our trip memorable. Highly recommended for it's excellent location and modern/hip internal decor. PS: the projector was a pleasant surprise; helped us watch great movies on a giant screen :)

I really enjoyed this modern, spacious studio. The location is perfect for walking around around Hollywood and close to a lot of great food. The studio is very clean, quiet, and comfortable with great amenities. Michael was friendly and made sure everything in the studio was okay for me. I would definitely return for another trip.

This large loft studio is spacious, light filled and very comfortable. There are fantastic restaurants within walking distance, plus the Metro is a just few blocks away which makes for an easy trip into downtown LA. We happened to hit a stretch of rainy, nasty weather so the projector screen was especially appreciated!

Greg and Jana were very accommodating. Their place was very clean and in a quiet area. They made our stay a very comfortable and I would highly recommend this place! When I am in the area again, I will definitely book with them again.

Greg and Janna's place was great for a one night stay. It was easy to find with ample, free street parking, and they made the check in process very easy. Their place is cozy and warm, and I appreciated the little thoughtful touches they put in to the room including water and coffee. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Located in a prime spot minutes away downtown Burbank and the 5 fwy. The spot that Jana and Greg offer is quaint with luxury at the same time. Beautiful balcony to enjoy a cup of joe or a glass of vino on. Everything was nice and clean upon arrival. Fellow film industry workers so they knew the lifestyle I am living, bouncing around and needing a place to feel just like home! Greg and Jana are excellent hosts. Definitely will rent again when I can!

Angela’s place was so nice and cozy. She was so welcoming and made me feel at home. I really enjoyed staying at her home. She also helped me find places to eat and other helpful tips.

An easy location close to public transport, and easy trips to major locations. Angela is lovely, and always willing to help out. Clean rooms with plenty of supplies, bed was comfortable and overall, staying here made my trip so smooth and enjoyable. Definitely recommend.

Angela is a great hostess who makes your feel at home and goes out of her way to be helpful and make sure you have a good time. The bed is comfortable, shower is good. Bus stop is right at the door and metro 10 mins walk away. I had a great stay.

Great experience

I had a great time staying at Jeremiah's place. Awesome location and there's everything you need in his loft. Communication regarding the first day was very fast. Although I had only seen him twice I found him to be very reliable. Whenever I had something to ask I got an answer within minutes. Also, in my opinion it's more positive than negative to not having a TV. Wiithout one you do not get distracted and get out to see the city. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Jeremiah was extremely accommodating, polite, friendly and prompt. He is a terrific host for anyone wanting a very central place in LA.

Wonderful place!

The apartment looks very nice from the picture, and it's pretty much the same when when get there, but just not as clean as we expected.. The location of the apartment is very close to hollywood boulevard, but somehow there are a lot of police cars running with sirens on even during the middle of the night. Jeremiah is very responsive and reply message pretty much instant. Overall the experience is ok. with the apartment can be cleaner and it would be even better, if there is a TV.

Rob was great. He accommodate our early check in and was extremely responsive to any requests. The house is brand new and well decorated.

We enjoyed our stay at the Laurel Canyon. The new cottage is impaccable and nicely furnished.

Robert greeted us immediately upon arrival and saved us a parking spot beside his home. Our experience was perfect the entire week and Robert was always available to meet any needs. The location is perfect and close to everything. I highly recommend this Airbnb, we truly had an amazing vacation.

Every Airbnb has some element of surprise. Something unexpected. That was certainly true here. We arrived to Robert’s greeting and in the course of exchanging information, we discovered that I had only booked for one night but I needed a place for two nights. Robert immediately helped me get a second night booked (thankfully one was available due to his practice of leaving a night open after a one night booking). What a relief to find we could stay in this lovely, well planned out, modern and convenient apartment on historic Laurel Canyon Road for our short stay in LA. Robert gave us a great tip on walking in Runyon Canyon and how to best access parking in front of his place. I highly recommend Robert’s place.

Angela is a delightful host and her home is well maintained, beautifully decorated and meticulously clean in a way that sets one at ease! She is within walking to stores or short taxi ride to a huge new mall. Lots to see and do. Freeways nearby. I personally like her area, safe to walk and explore on foot. There is a set of stairs for exercise within a 10 minute walk.

Angela is such a warm and genuine person who goes out of her way to accommodate her guests. Throughout my stay I felt welcomed and also comfortable in the house, the room is light and the whole home has a positive energy. Location is perfect for getting to the beaches as well as travelling to LAX. I would definitely stay her again.

Upon arrival Jon was very friendly and helpful, telling us a little bit about the nearby area regarding safety and relevant attractions. The cleanliness, space, and furniture listed on the add was all up to expectation, like how it looked in the pictures. The only drawback (which was a big one to us) was the lack of privacy with noise, the loft has two guestrooms which Jon rents out that both have walls that don't reach the ceiling. This makes it hard to have private conversations or be able to make noise at night time or when the other room is occupied, during any part of the day. I can see this not bothering some people but for the more private people out there it can be uncomfortable. Besides that slight inconvenience, the price for such a central downtown location is unbeatable and I recommend it to anyone who really wants to stay in DTLA.

Jon is a great host and his place was perfect for what I needed. It was walkable to many places, it is in a great neighborhood, and it was clean and inviting. The private bathroom was a very nice addition. Plus, the rooftop pool was phenomenal, and had an amazing view. I'm very glad I stayed here.

Jon's place is amazing. I had the room with the private bath and it was fully stocked with toiletries, towels, and the likes. Jon's place is clean, and just right at the center of DTLA. You can get to anywhere from there. He is such an amazing host. Great place, will come again if l have to be in LA.

Jon was an exceptional host ! I was traveling alone and he offered great suggestions of places to visit and how to get around the city. His place was very clean, inviting, and convenient. I walked everywhere and and it was also a short walk to the subway if you want to venture out of the city. The layout of the condo doesn't offer much privacy in the terms of sound. You can definitely hear movements/ sounds in the next room and street traffic. However, It was not a problem because the other guests were respectful of the quiet times. I will definitely seek if his place is available on my next visit to LA. I felt like home in a city where I didn't know anyone and it was because of the genuine care Jon provided.

Jon is a fantastic host! The private room was very comfortable and clean. The location is fantastic and surrounded by many good eats! I highly recommend!

Our stay with Jon was short but sweet. The rooftop pool and jacuzzi were wonderful and it’s a great deal for the place. Everything was clean and Jon’s communication lines were always open. Would recommend!

Location, location, location! Jon's unit has a shared living/kitchen area with private bedrooms. There are three rooms total, two have shared master bath and the other (which we ended up getting) has a private bath. Those two with shared bath are bigger or have windows, the one with a private bath is smaller and have no windows... but I was happy to have our own bath rather than the sun light to wake us up in the morning! We had a rental car because our trip included a stay in Orange county, but you won't need a car at all when you stay here. We parked the car overnight at Pershing square and my husband's just washed underwears were stolen! How funny! I am telling you, take taxi and save yourselves a trouble when staying downtown... this place is so close to literally everything, you can walk. Jon was a very gracious host, communication was very clear and easy.

Vilaivanh was there w/ a warm greeting when we arrived. The house is stylish & clean. The yard is spacious & has a pool, but closed for the period when we stayed. We enjoyed very much staying there.

We spent a few days relaxing in this beautiful pool house. The bed is super comfy, the style of the house is really lovely and it had everything that we needed. The Trader Joe’s toiletries were a nice touch! Any question that we had was answered so quickly and Vila was really helpful. Would love to come back x

The stay at Vilaivanh’s place was wonderful. The space is really stylish and extremely clean. The bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is great. Also the place is in an awesome location with easy parking.

The poolhouse is amazing and we loved our stay. Communication was very fast and it was really easy to Check in. Moreover they two were flexible with our Check out Time. Everything just looked like on the pictures. Although there is not a private parking spot you can park for free everywhere in the street. Thanks again :)

The space is beautiful and the carefully considered layout makes the small space work really well. We were not on vacation so instead were working the whole time but it made for a very relaxing retreat to come home to. I even worked from home some days because a lunchtime dip in the pool was such a treat. Host was responsive and friendly we would stay again and recommend to friends.

Wonderful place

Nice mansion in Hollywood! The house is as nice as it looks like on the pictures. It‘s a little poorly soundproofed but they keep an eye on the quiet times so you can sleep well! Check in was as easy as it could be and communication with the house manager was perfect. The neighborhood ist save and you can park your car in front of the house which is very convinient. All in all totally recommended !!!

I had a very good stay in LA. Luis’s place is beautiful and very comfortable. Great location with many restaurants and little shops around. If in town, try Baroo—just around the corner. Enjoy!

Not the best airbnb I stayed so far but it was fine. We shared the bathroom with a lot of other guests so there is a wait. She didn‘t respond to my massage so I had to call her but after that check in worked well. We had a car so it was close to the walk of fame. A 10-15 min drive. She was very caring about our parking. Good stay if need a place to sleep and a shower while just being in town for some sightseeing.

The pros: decent location (it's not as walking friendly as advertised because frankly, the sun is intense in Los Angeles and I'm not sure anyone would enjoy walking for very long under those conditions), relatively clean bedrooms, reasonably clean bathrooms with shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. The cons: the kitchen is a bit of a disgrace; there's always insects crawling or flying around somewhere, the WiFi isn't reliable, the common area refrigerator is smelly, the driveway isn't always free for onsite parking, and the common area living room is very cluttered.

Amina s place is nice and clean. The description is accurate. Amina herself is quite responsive and helped us check in even around midnight. She explained everything clearly when we reached the place. We stayed there only for a single night and that was warm and comfortable.

We absolutely loved staying in this little piece of paradise! We enjoyed playing in the pool all day and just lounging outside eating.. this is the perfect find for a summer day/night. Vince is such a great host, super attentive and always updating us with reminders and asking if everything was okay. We can’t wait to stay here again :)

Vince's place is great. It was nicely decorated and modern. Me my husband and seven year old daughter stayed for 4 days. The sheets smelled great! WiFi was super fast and ac units worked well for heating and cooling. It was very nice to have a private backyard. Kitchen was nicely stocked with utensils, paper towels and roomy fridge.

It’s cozy and comfortable house. It was good to stay. Vince was great and kind also reply quickly as he can do.

We needed a base in LA, having been before we knew the area that suited our needs. This house is ideally situated to get around LA. Everything you need is supplied in the house.

Julia's place is fantastically located in a quiet and peaceful suburban neighbourhood. The view is impressive and and the amenities are simple but enough to prep breakfast and basic meals. For any couples thinking of staying in the apartment, beware the bed is quite small and a bit of a squeeze.

Overall great value for the experience provided. Loved the view! PRO: -Awesome view from the shared patio area by the covered pool -I got to see what the nicer houses in Cali look like -You will actually hear nature sounds instead of traffic sounds here! -Unit had everything we needed -My 420 time at the comfort of our little private patio was great CON: -When we arrived we noticed a lot of leaves on the patio. The next day someone was hired to clean them in the morning. (Now, I don’t mind things getting done, but as a couple we had zero privacy.) Like we don’t know who could’ve walked up the window and boom! You’ve shown your bits to someone lol. We just stayed in bed until they left -Again the privacy thing. There is 1 big window and 1 glass door; they both have a curtain, but it’s one of those see through white curtains. -Twin bed was a little lumpy for my liking, but I mean it worked for what it’s for, SLEEP! I would recommend this for 1 person only though, as a couple it’s a little crowded but we made it work.

Kevin is a great host and very welcoming! The room was very clean and we loved his dog and cats! It felt like home :)! The location is also perfect, in a nice quiet neighborhood close to shops and restaurants and to the Universal Studios! Wonderful places if you are planning to Universal studios!(8-10 minutes drive) Kevin is wonderful guy who is happy to answer your questions and give recommendations. Also, if you are dog or cat lover, you will love his home even better! Caesar(dog) and Sugar(cat) will be your best host to welcome you during your stay!

Space was easy to find and had enough parking for most. Keypad entry was perfect as no need for keys. Close to loads of shops and close drive to all the great restaurants in k town.

Location was great easy access to public transportation and many food options lots of places within walking distance , there were people camped out near the property but there was no real issues with them just comes with living in a major city. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Only negative was the water pressure for the shower, maybe due to the shower head might need to be replaced. Would stay again in the future.

Don't let the exterior fool you. This is a great, clean stay with modern furniture and amenities. Close to great nightlife in the center of bustling Koreatown. Will definitely stay again.

Loved it! It’s quiet, low key, comfortable, clean and best of all you can walk to get anything you need. So convenient with the ability to check in late and have a private room and bathroom. Loved staying here! Janna was a great host. She was there if we needed anything but always have us privacy - just the right amount of both. Everything we could possibly need was provided for us and the pool was wonderful to swim on after a day of sightseeing. The location is very central and in an excellent neighborhood - small, but perfect for a couple. Janna is an excellent host and I would stay here again for sure if we ever return to LA. The house is in a great neighborhood in a great location. Janna was very welcoming and friendly and was flexible with our changing arrival time. The space is small but has all the necessities with the bonus of a washer/dryer available to use! The pool is a nice perk, as well. The only inconvenience was that the shower head is hand-held and mounted at about waist-height in the shower. Great value for the location.

The house is on a busy street, but this apartment is back in far enough that you don't realize it. A wonderful secluded area awaits. The bathroom does connect the hall and the bedroom though, just an FYI.

OMG! My first experience with Airbnb was amazing and it was with Janna....so naturally I wanted to stay with her again after such a great experience. I was so sad that she was booked out for months, but as fate would have it, I LITERALLY checked her calendar every day for a month and someone cancelled during the time I was looking to stay! Denise’s studio was stylish and clean, and also has just about everything you need for an extended stay. Extra towels, bed sheets, and plates are provided. Just be sure to bring your own body wash, shampoo, and toothpaste. There is no stove but there is a mini fridge to store leftover food and a microwave to heat it up. The unit is very functional, cute and according to the description, perfect for 1 person. Trader Joe's & CVS within 10 min walk. Safe and quiet neighborhood. Very smooth check in and check out. Only downside is I stayed there twice and the unit was not clean the first time, but very clean the second time. Denise responds very quickly, nice host. Overall very good stay!

Really clean and totally accurate place. Fast internet and a lot to choose from on the TV. If you don't have a car it's really easy to get to Venice Beach and Santa Monica with the 33 and 733 buses. Both go straight to downtown LA, if you choose to go the other direction. Fairly close to Trader Joe's and the neighborhood is quiet with some low to moderate residential traffic. Denise is easy to communicate with and responds quickly if you text her a question or a concern. I would like to point out that there is actually a small cooktop which can be set up if needed. I highly recommend this place.

This is a clean and by LA standards rather affordable place, conveniently located close to freeways, bus stops, Trader Joe’s, etc. Bars, Cafes and Restaurants are within walking distance. Denise is a nice host. You’ll not be disappointed if you decide to stay here.

My stay at denises was amazing! great location, right by venice and santa monica. Nice, quiet neighborhood. The place is extremely cute and nice put together, everything was working, clean and very homey. Good for people with a car and people who wanna eat out most of the time, as there is no stove, but you can work your way around it. (it has everything else) As a alone traveling young girl this apartment was perfect for me! easy check-in and denise was always helpful if i had any questions. Definitely recommend!

Over all great stay ! Had a little issue with the cable tv , straightened it out in a couple days, great communication. Great location close to everything you need and safe. Wish the kitchen had more cookware and utensils, but cozy and overall clean.

This airbnb was very clean and definitely spacious enough for one or two persons. I had a great time here. Only disadvantage was that there is no stove. This airbnb is close to a nice park/recreation center, a TJ's and some other shops, and public transport.

David is very responsive and attentive. I would describe the apartment decor as spare. Being close to downtown was much fun. Starbucks and Grocery outlet are just a few steps away. On Sunday morning we walked about twenty minutes to the Pantry Cafe and enjoyed an old-school diner experience.

This was a great apartment to stay in at the end of our trip. It was clean, the location was great and having a washer, dryer and steamer was a bonus, as well as the market, Starbucks and Chipotle downstairs. The roof was great for having a few beers at night when we didn’t feel like going out. Having free parking was a bonus as our first stay in LA didn’t have this and we had to find street parking..being able to park under the building was great. David’s communication could not have been better. Tip: definitely go to The Pantry for breakfast.

Despite a great location, and very convenient parking, the reality of the apartment at the moment doesn't match the photos we saw on the site. The room had a funny smell and is a lot darker and more dated than shown in the photos. Elaine was quick to respond to a few queries which was great, and walking distance to the main boulevards makes life easy, but it needs a refresh.

My boyfriend and I were very pleased with our stay at Elaine's place. As tourists from NJ it was amazing to have so many Hollywood attractions in walking distance.

Elaine’s place is in a very convenient location. It’s about a six minute walk to the walk of fame and attractions. Overall the building is older - it wasn’t well lit at night so I was glad I was with my boyfriend. Since the building was older, the hallway floors were stained but inside the apartment was pretty clean. Elaine has adorable decor which I really appreciated. Overall was great for our day trip to the Hollywood area!

We were there over a weekend and heard ZERO construction or city noise. Literally one block from Hollywood boulevard. Very convenient gated parking spot was a huge bonus.

Place exactly as describe. Lots of good food nearby. Room access and parking was easy and convenient. The outside does look quite worn down but the inside have been renovated well. So don't be put off by it, considering it was also affordable price in compare to surrounding.

*Diamond in the rough* This place looks sooo sketchy on the outside, but to be fair, Dennis warned me before I arrived and that he is planning to completely redo the outside in a couple of months! Once you are inside it is so nice. Perfect for all of your needs. Flat screen, comfy bed, clean shower. So many awesome places to eat within walking distance, and a ralphs around the corner. Looking forward to staying again in the future!

The apartment was very clean and about 20 minutes from the Walk of Fame. The apartment is located in a motel in Koreatown. Unfortunately the bed is a little small, but for one night is was doable. We arrived and Mike knocked on the door to confirm our stay and I sent a message when we left. The check in/out procedure was very easy. We enjoyed our stay here.

Don't judge a book by its cover. It's nice inside with tv and private shower/bath and restroom. Hotel like room. Enjoy my stay

Love this Air bnb. My boyfriend and I got the room with our own private bathroom and I was relived because I really don't like sharing bathrooms. The room was clean and comfortable. There was Netflix and a strong wifi connection. The hill to get up to the house isn't that bad, if you're a really good driver. You gotta know the right angles to get up there when you first turn into the driveway. I was able to drive my Audi s4 perfectly on this driveway. Anyways, perfect location for the price!

Alfie's place is great. The views from the deck are wonderful; its a great space to have your morning coffee. The space is very comfortable. Its the backroom so you have a little space for yourself and your own bathroom. Alfie provided us with our own shelf in the fridge. The kitchen also had coffee maker and lots plates, glasses, pots, pans all available for our use. There is also laundry in the back of the house. It cost $2 to wash free to dry and Alfie provides you with detergent. Alfie was very friendly and courteous. He gave us lots of ideas for wear to visit. He really made us feel at home. I will definitely stay here again the next we're in LA.

This place is awesome! Alfie waited up for me to greet me at 1:30 am. He offers filtered water in the kitchen and dedicated fridge and freezer space. Parking is available, but mind the very steep hill going up to the house. Just make sure you don’t hesitate near the top or you’ll get stuck! A fellow guest got stuck and Alfie actually got in the driver seat and drove the guest’s car up the hill for him. That’s what I call service!!! A+++

We had a great time in LA at Roxanna's cozy house. Everything worked easily and stress-free. The house was extremely clean and nicely decorated. The location is close to downtown LA, a little further from the beach - you definitely want to have your own car. Be aware (when traveling as a couple) that there are 2 twin beds with different heights. Roxanna is very friendly, helpful and responsive! :)

Kevin and Adriana are really great hosts. They can always be reached via mail or simply knock on their door. The appartment was perfectly equipped with a small kitchen area, cooking utilities and a nice bathroom with a huge shower. The fridge was also equipped with everything you could need for breakfast. The location is also great, most of the attractions in LA can be reached within 30min. We didn't have a car, so we used Uber which worked perfectly for us. We would definitely come back here again.

The guesthouse has everything you need and more. We also got access to Netflix which was great! It is also a great starting point for several trips to central LA and to the beaches. Adriana and Kevin were great hosts they also gave us advices when where to park (it's hard to know if you're not into the american parking thing :-) ). Highly recommended!

The place itself is like a mini house. You have a kitchen, bedroom, and bathroom all connected together. The welcome basket is also nice as well! Provided us with breakfast so it saved us a little more money. Can't go wrong staying with Kevin and Adriana!

Great Host and great value for the money. Location is killer as the place is only a block away from Melrose and Fairfax. When I arrived the first day the heater wasn't working and LA was really cold but Jayson came over and called a maintenance worker to fix the problem! Overall a really positive experience!

It’s such a great place to stay in, very clean, and accommodating.. You are assigned your own parking space and most importantly it was a safe and calm area. Basic AirBnB. Air mattress didn’t fill up. No extra blankets. Heater smelled really bad so we had to turn it off. Host was unresponsive and just sent canned responses.

Would definitely stay here again. Easy access to the main attractions on Hollywood Blvd and West Hollywood.

Very nice home that looks exactly like on the Pictures. It has everything you need. I especially enjoyed the couch on the front porch outside. You can easily cook for yourselfs, although some more kitchen equipment would have been nice. Having a TV and Netflix made us relax in the evening after an adventure day in Los Angeles. Since L.A. is just a huge City, it always takes at least 30 min to 1h hour to get somewhere. However, this place is great located, if you wish to discover more of L.A. then just beaches (like Pasedena, Hollywood, Grifith Park, etc.)

Completely disappointed with this stay . The room is too tiny for 2 people. Lights were too dim, water pressure was too low, no microwave facility, no response from the host when needed. I would suggest if you are looking for a place near to the universal studios and other tourist spots just go for four star hotels cuz it’s charges are same for one bedroom because staying here is sheer wastage of money .

Kelly and Eric's bungalow is indeed charming. And in a great location, especially if you are planning to visit some of the great nearby attractions. No complaints, except... I don't remember reading in the other reviews that they actually have two listings, and that one is ABOVE the other. Which means that if you have the bottom unit, that is, the downstairs unit, it can be a bit noisey! Think apartment living... Otherwise, no complaints. Clean, good location, and in this instance, charming means pretty small. Then again, we have stayed in smaller places!!

This was my first Airbnb experience and I loved this space. It was super cute and quaint. The bed was comfortable. There was a basket full of goodies...the refrigerator was stocked with water and soda. The bathroom was spacious and it had all of the essentials in case you left anything at home. I had an opportunity to meet Kelly briefly and she was really friendly and helpful. The next time I am in LA, I will definitely stay here again!

Great location in Studio City in the hills.Location was close to the Hollywood reservoir- with a 3.3 run, and other parks for hiking. We loved the cozy, clean 1 room - complete with everything we could need there- You have thought of everything...Wonderful to come in and not have to run to store for coffee , water bottles, & nice treats were waiting- Thank You Kelly! We will definitely see you again when we return.

Cue place with a great location if you are visiting Universal Studio / Hollywood. It's all you need and the hosts do a great job of welcoming you with a nice basket of snacks and wine. Only downside is the noise that comes from upstairs, as other reviews said. It's a thumping type noise that is dependent on the movement of the guests. Maybe we had a noisy upstairs neighbors, who knows, but like I said, that would be the only downside, otherwise, it's a great spot and free/easy parking is always a plus too! Thanks for the stay!

First time using air b&b and I loved it would definitely come back here. I come to LA a few times a year and always stayed in hotel but I thought I’d give air b&b a try and I’m glad I did. I loved the room it was clean and the check in was easy.

Great location and value for location. Universal Studios being walking distance was the main draw but K-Town is also insanely close (about a 20 min drive). Would definitely stay again!
