It was an awesome experience staying here. Definitely try this out if you're looking for something different. It's on a cow farm and the cows will look at you curiously when you walk past them (they're so cute!). It was peaceful, quiet and a great opportunity for us to unplug from technology. Martha's place is divine! The tiny house is tiny and cozy, nestled in a beautiful little clearing at the edge of the farm. Plenty of privacy and beautiful views and friendly cows. And a lake! The milkhouse was nearby enough to be convenient and far away enough to feel a bit like camping. Went on a lovely hike nearby--the place is surrounded by state parks! Highly recommend.

Taryn has a lovely home. A short 10 minute walk brings you into downtown Keene. Taryn's home is clean and welcoming. Taryn is a wonderful host.

Super host. Very nice, even going out of her way to let me know about what was happening in town and beyond, such as a historical wall mural project. She welcomed me in a caring way to use her kitchen and dining room. Her dog Jazzy is lovely. Taryn always had the lights on when I came home late. I can't say enough about her great hosting skills. We also had great conversations, and I just felt like I was at my home away from home.

A lovely small room with private half bath (shower across the hall). Taryn is friendly but gives you the space you need.

Great place to stay while visiting Keene. The host, Taryn, is super friendly and outgoing. The wonderful pet dog, Jazz, will be there to greet you. . Easy access to the town and Keene State Campus. The bedroom, although small, was neat and clean and comfortable making me feel right at home.

Karen was the best host my dad and I could have ever asked for! She greeted us when we arrived, gave us a little tour, provided us with some breakfast food and home made cookies and even made a sweet welcome sign for us! The apartment was beautiful and cozy, and stocked well with everything we needed. When my dad cut his leg skiing and needed stitches, Karen helped us out a ton! She provided us with extra ice and baggies so my dad could ice his leg, and helped him get up the stairs. Very quick to respond and an absolute sweetheart! The apartment was roomy, super comfy and at such a great price! I wish I could give Karen 5000 *stars*!!

I’m an experienced Airbnber but Karen’s stood out for all the warm and special touches she offered from the homemade chocolate chip cookies to all the breakfast fixings to the sign welcoming us to the board games and movies to the notebook of suggestions. We prepared all our meals and the kitchen was well stocked. The beds were comfy and the place was quiet and welcoming in every way. Very close to Crotched Mountain where we skied. Highly recommended!

Sasha is hands down the best host. You’ll be staying in the most precious room, with the comfiest beds and sheets. Outside, you’ll find apple trees, and for an easy breakfast, there’s a bakery just a stone’s throw away.

Dan’s farmhouse was the perfect romantic winter getaway. It offered everything you could expect from the cozy and warm setting of a family farmhouse to a fire going in the wood stove to the sprawling hills and pine trees of the property. It had the perfect home away from home feel. Meeting Dan and seeing his love for this place added the finishing touches along with the dozens of beautiful photos showing all the years and generations of love and family throughout the home. An essential and classic New England experience to the fullest. Can’t wait to go back!

The pictures of the place does not do it justice. We had the best family vacation in a long time here. It was plenty big enough for our 2 families. The views were beautiful and we were lucky enough to have some snow come down. Within a few hours plows were coming up and taking care of the roads. We got a chance to talk to the farmer, and she was very nice and answered all the kids questions. I would definitely stay here again. The kitchen was massive, and we spent hours sitting there and reminiscing with our children. Thank you Martha.

I needed an apartment for a two month internship at the local hospital, and this beautiful, sunny, and spacious converted barn was everything I'd hoped for and more. Situated at the top of a hill, it looks out at Monadnock Mountain in the distance and provided many sunrise pictures. The hostess Martha was a pleasure to work with and always responded in a timely manner, and one of the neighbors helped me dig my car out after a big snowstorm. I would absolutely recommend this space to anyone looking either for an extended stay or for a short-term rental.

I stayed with Michael for a month. The bedroom has a very comfortable bed, a tv, and a small couch. There is a full kitchen with everything you need for meal preparation. Michael was very respectful of my privacy, and responded to my messages very quickly. It doesn’t take more than 10 minutes to walk to Central Square and down Main Street where there are great restaurants, cute cafes, and specialty stores. I enjoyed my stay with him and would definitely stay with him again.

Everything here is exactly as advertised. Space was VERY clean and well appointed. Absolutely perfect size for a quick stay of up to 2 people. I would not stay here with any sort of larger group. Check in was easy and the place had everything I needed for a two night stay. Just a few blocks away from restaurants, shopping etc.

Michael's apartment is great for a weekend or short stay: walking distance to town, modest-sized kitchen and super clean. We had a problem with the heat and Michael responded to our text in less than 5 minutes and immediately resolved the issue. Only caveat is that there are steep stairs leading up to the apartment, so if mobility is an issue for your or someone in your party, this would not be a good choice. But otherwise, this is a superb value.

Michael's place is cozy, cute, and was a great choice for my one night stay in Keene. The radiator does get very loud sometimes, but with my white noise machine I brought, my boyfriend and I were able to sleep just fine. The apartment had everything we needed to have a very comfortable stay. Overall, I would definitely recommended this place!

Bonnie and Abe are sweethearts! Their space is sparkling clean and has thoughtful touches everywhere! She went the extra mile; buying some chocolate covered strawberries for my wife's birthday which coincided with our stay! They were available but always gave us space and privacy. Matter of fact it was as though the space was in another house altogether. The space is thoughtfully furnished! Bed is incredibly comfortable. Area has a small but tasteful living room with pull out couch and tv and such. Bathroom is spotless and furnished with everything a guest would need. The house is easy to find and a walking/short driving distance from restaurants and entertainment. If ever in Keene again, I know where I'll stay. My wife and I both loved it!

This AirBNB was amazing! The decor was lovely with authentic charm and complimenting colors. It was very clean and well maintained. There communication before and during our stay was exceptional. The extra amenities such as bottled water, Keurig coffee/tea, mini fridge and bathroom toiletries were thoughtfully provided. They even provided bathrobes, cloth slippers and eye masks, for lounging or relaxing. The electric mini fireplace provided a cozy New England feel to the room. We especially enjoyed the separate/adjoining sitting area. We look forward to staying again!

To stay at the Aaron Seaman House in Keene, New Hampshire was unique opportunity while visiting this small college town. The historic home has charm and warmth, with personal touches made by Bonnie and Abe. The room and sitting area is warm, bright, welcoming, and provides provincial colonial charm and comfort to the weary traveler. From the personal touches of maple candies on the bed, a welcome note on things to know, and a slate board for a personalized message welcoming you, this was a genuine diamond of a find. I most enjoyed my stay here, and would highly recommend it to anyone. I video-called my spouse to show her the space, and we wish to visit sometime in the summer to enjoy the town of Keene and to stay here at the Aaron Seaman House.

Great little place right outside of town. Perfect for a walk to get a coffee or something to eat from any of the neat restaurants in the area.

Located right in the middle of town, just off the square, this little apt could not be more convenient. Let’s see: clean, neat, crisp, easily accessible, parking, great directions. Perhaps the stairs are a tiny bit steep. But honestly, I would stay again any time. Patti is right there to answer should you need anything. And pet friendly. That’s a huge plus ❤️

The Phineas is in a prime location convenient to Main Street. Patti was a very responsive host and helpful as I was looking for apartments. I would stay here again.

Casual farmhouse with great opportunity to be outside, enjoy an amazing view and be up close to some magnificent horses. Noel was a great host. Good conversation, sharing stories and life experiences. We had everything we needed and enjoyed some homemade waffles too!!

Just down the road from the toll rd trail for a wonderful hike. I loved seeing the horses around the property. Host is very friendly.

We enjoyed our 2 night stay at Peep Hollow, Noel's place. It was a great base from which to climb Monadonock and enjoy the lakes and trails in the area. Noel was warm and welcoming and we enjoyed meeting her and having a lovely breakfast with her others staying and working there.

Peep Willow was perfect for me, my wife, and our two sons. We stayed here to hike Mount Monadnock on Independence Day. Beds were comfortable and the place was heavenly quiet. We were allowed in the stable and pet the horses, including a two-month old foal and mom. This is a house on a horse farm with a shared bath. So set expectations accordingly and you'll have a choice stay. We loved it and thought it was a great value. The owner, Noel, was extremely hospitable. We enjoyed her local tips and smart conversation.

This is a great place to stay and relax. It's not a fancy place but simple and down to earth. There was such a friendly atmosphere as we shared in the chores, food, and great conversation.

Peepwillow is a gorgeous horse farm with trails for walking in beautiful hardwood forest.

Fred and Richele are great hosts! This place has a great bang for the buck and who doesn't love waking up to the view of the beautiful mountains. We have stayed in the yurt they offer, which is awesome, very unique! This time I rented a simple campsite on the property. It's rustic but it works and the price is right. Very pretty scenery too! It's close to Keene State College which worked out great as I was in town to visit my son who is a student there. This is not a campground, but a cool small skiing and tubing hill for the locals! So go on up, pitch a tent, and do some snow tubing or share a beer with the friendly hosts. FYI, there is only an outdoor shower. This was the only drawback as the temps are already dropping here in October. Not a deal-breaker, just something to be aware of.

This is a camping spot on a very flat and well-mowed spot of a small local skiing and tubing hill. There is a small camping ring (bring your own wood), a picnic table at the spot, and you can use the guest bathroom in the ski lodge as well as the outdoor shower complete with hot water. This is no frills, but it is a gated, safe space in a beautiful location within a few minutes drive of Otter Creek State Park (and a beach), and very close to Keene, NH. The bathroom is clean, the shower is private, and it was perfect for us. We actually slept on a futon mattress in our Honda van, and we got an excellent night's sleep in this peaceful location. Route 9 runs by the ski lodge, but there are trees buffering the traffic, so it doesn't feel like you are exposed to the road traffic at all. It was white noise at night, and we didn't notice any big rigs or loud traffic noise. Richele is responsive and gave us very clear instructions on accessing the area and there were clear signs pointing us to our spot. It was beautiful at night. The stars were a sky dome and the crickets made nice night music. Great spot if you know the weather is going to hold!

Easy to follow directions to get to the camp site and the host was very helpful. We got a bit frazzled after arriving in the dark on bicycle due to some bad luck and a couple of flat tires in a row..and when we contacted them on the phone they guided us through getting into the gate w/ no issues. It was also really great to camp at a place with a real common area for bathrooms/showering after having spent the previous night at a more rustic site. Good for stargazing. A nitpick would be that the road it's next to is pretty busy. But, we knew that when we decided to camp there...so, it wasn't exactly unexpected. Great location only ~5 miles from the center of Keene.

Great campsite...lots of room. In a nice grassy field...very open. Mostly quiet but could hear some road traffic. Bathroom clean and outdoor shower nice. Would recommend for camping.

Linda’s place was fantastic! Sadly I did not get to personally meet her, but my friend did when she checked us in earlier in the day and said she was a lovely person. The space was very well decorated and very home, sparkling clean, and exactly as advertised. The view is fantastic, and Linda went above and beyond by providing us homemade cookies and bread. I would stay at Linda’s place again in a heartbeat!

I am a super host myself but this place far exceeded our expectations. This is another slapped together attic. This is a solidly built and beautifully finished apartment. Beautiful deck and view, fridge stocked for breakfast, and the made from scratch baked goods you see everyone raving about in the reviews. Don’t look any further for a place to stay. This is a writer’s dream-space; if you’re looking for peace, quiet and beauty to write or just relax, this is it. A clean, comfortable, and very roomy apartment including a balcony deck with deck chairs and a covered table for coffee and writing while enjoying a spectacular view. I wanted space to spread out a project and had it in spades, with lots of floorspace in the comfortable and nicely decorated living area. Both kitchen and bathroom had a surprising number of amenities and unexpected extras. Nestled into a gorgeous location, it’s near the lake and Monadnock State Park for beautiful fall hikes, drives and walks. Linda offered to let me come earlier than the regular check in (much appreciated) and met me upon my arrival. She had several delicious home-baked treats waiting in the fridge, along with many unexpected basics (eggs, milk, juice, milk, oatmeal). Stirling came over to offer excellent driving directions to several hiking trails and helpful descriptions of each. Would stay here gladly for a longer spell (didn’t really want to leave!)---excellent value for comfortable and pleasing rooms, beautiful/ quiet location, and friendly, attentive hosts.

What a beautiful home! The space was large and cozy. It also had an amazing view from the private porch. Linda’s hospitality was above and beyond what we expected. It was exactly what we needed for our trip. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

Linda was an incredible host! She greeted us warmly when we pulled up after dark and again the next evening, when she called for us to join her and her husband at their fire pit after we got in from dinner in Peterborough. It was my wife's birthday weekend, and waiting for us in the fridge on our arrival was a cake! Super host indeed. The place is so nice in so many ways. It is tucked away a short distance down a dirt road from the end of the pavement--with all the peace and quiet you'd expect. The view of Monadnock from the living room and off the deck are fantastic--we loved eating out there, too. It is a quick drive into Dublin and only slightly longer to Peterborough, Marlborough, and Keene. We hiked Monadnock while there, and the trailhead was a three or four minute drive down Linda's road (it's the longest trail to the summit, but hey!) The only thing remotely approaching a negative was a slight sulfur smell to the water. It was not strong, we didn't taste it in the food we cooked (including coffee), and it didn't keep us from lugging a couple of liters of it up Monadnock, but if you're sensitive you should know.

Dick's place was everything we needed for a weekend getaway - cozy, clean, private, and right next to a beautiful lake with a small and secluded beach. Driving directions were clear, and the cottage had all the essentials one would need. We would love to come back for another getaway.

This was a very nice experience. I'm not what you would call a camper, but they offer just enough comfort that I was very comfortable. Nice comfy bed. A ton of room in the yurt There is a nice stream out in the backyard. Also, the beach was a 5-minute drive and was a nice peaceful experience. The outdoor shower was a very cool experience. My dog could roam off-leash all these beautiful hills. What made the stay so great was the host Rochelle. We had pretty serious car trouble and she was so gracious to us - she went above and beyond what any host would ever do to help us. I recommend and will return.

Sue‘s space was everything I could have hoped for. The shared spaces in the house are warm and inviting and the bedroom was charming. The shared bath was easy to work around. I enjoyed getting to know the others I shared the space with and Sue herself is a delightful hostess. Delightful amenities included a cozy shared TV/reading space with a gas stove, coffee cake and fruit for morning breakfasts, an array of coffees and teas. The stairs were a non issue for me but if you have a lot of “stuff” to carry in you might want to find lodging on a ground floor. Keene itself has so much going on. I can’t wait to return and I will certainly plan my trip around availability at Sue’s place.

Sue's house is wonderful. It's located an easy drive from downtown Keene in a lovely neighborhood. I enjoyed my drive to and from the house. And the room is cozy and comfy. Sue goes out of her way to make you comfortable. There were always little snacks in the kitchen and other extra amenities. I shared a bathroom, but never ran into the other guests, so it was almost like my own. I highly recommend this place to stay.

I was blown away at how much room there was. This is a quaint private apartment attached to the back side of the house surrounded by beautiful views. Location, location location. I highly recommend if you do not want the hustle and bustle of Keene. We were fortunate to book since we waited last minute during a wedding weekend. We stayed in this apartment for a month and a half. The location in Harrisville was perfect for us. Having access to the clean and beautiful Silver Lake right down the hill was perfect. Harrisville is one of the most beautiful tiny brick/mill towns on a lake that is still untouched by time. The General Store overlooks a picture perfect setting. I guarantee you will be taking pictures. If you like to run or walk, there's dirt roads around the lakes, or to remote ponds and old historic farm houses. Very little traffic in this area. A fifty mile hiking trail is down the road. Bring your fishing pole too. Farm stands will supply you with fresh local produce and pies. The apartment is sweet. It has everything you need. The kitchen that is shared with the owners is a big homey farm kitchen. Hans and Marcy are very friendly too. Their yard is huge with a tree house, hammocks, chair swings and plenty of cool stuff for children including a huge stage for plays. My grandchildren loved coming here. There's also blueberries, raspberries, huckleberries, blackberries and peaches. We really had a great time and highly recommend this Airbnb.

The space was exactly as described. I appreciated the privacy/private entrance, comfy bed and all of the extra amenities – a mini-frig, microwave, coffee-maker and, most especially, the fresh fruit, coffee and milk. The only minor issue I had (which has more to do with my being an extremely light sleeper than the accommodations) was the wall next to the bed apparently abuts either an entrance way or a room in the main house and several times I could hear peoples' conversations and doors being opened and closed.

Lindsay's place was absolutely perfect for our family. So clean, warm ( and it was COLD out!) cozy and comfortable. Communication was easy, clear and timely. She greeted us with an easy warm welcome. We felt so at home. After a day of travel and out door exploration we were ready to snuggle in and watch tv. Perfectly relaxing with a nice cup of tea and toast. She even left out chocolates for us. The coffee looked inviting as well, smelling so good! I would highly recommend a stay in Lindsay's home. Hope to return sometime!

Very quaint and cozy place. Everything was as listed. Easy access and great communication. It’s a short walk to downtown, for some great food and shops. Highly recommended! It was very nice to meet Lindsay and chat for few mins.

Excellent in every way. Lots of thoughtful touches.....like a full spice rack and pillow spray! The suite was sparkling clean and really well equipped. Amazing hosts...we enquired about an electric kettle and 1/2 hour later there was a brand new one left for us. Great location with an excellent local shop andThai restaurant. We would definitely recommend and we look forward to revisiting at graduation next year. Thanks Julie and Mark.

This place was so awesome! Well appointed, very thoughtful and helpful supplies if you decide to cook in rather than going out. Spices, dishes, etc. Mark, being an executive chef, knows what would be needed for basic supplies. The space was beautiful, quiet, private and right along the Rail Trail that we had hoped to enjoy but ran out of time. Julie and Mark were helpful in making suggestions of places to eat in the area. We had an awesome family gathering for the holidays and this place made it relaxing and special.

Olga and Norbert's place is located close to the center of Keene, and convenient to Antioch, where I was teaching for the weekend. The room is clean and welcoming, with a refrigerator and a coffee machine. I didn't mind the steep stairs at all.

Olga and Norbert were wonderful hosts. The cozy room is as sweet as it looks, photos are true. The view out of the window is of hills and trees perfect for leaf watching. I stayed for a week during a training at Antioch University. The location is 10 minute walk to the school and 10 minutes into the beautiful Main Street Keen. Shops, art and yummy dining options. It was such a pleasure spending time with Olga and Norbert, they are lovely hosts and makes you feel like you are staying at your home away from home. How sweet simplicity can be.

This upstairs space is cozy and well suited for the solo traveler. I only once ever missed snagging the shared bathroom; it was usually readily available. During warmer than usual temperatures, it was a bit stuffy, but the supplied fan helped immensely. Closet space would have been nice, and the stairs are pretty steep and narrow, uncomfortably so for anyone with mobility problems or amply-sized. The hosts are very sweet and genuinely helpful. Parking is free and easy in this quiet residential neighborhood. Several restaurants at different price points are about a fifteen-minute walk away.

This cabin is excellent! Very clean and well appointed - def a throwback to grandma's but will wifi, a grill and a microwave! Super clean and with new bathroom. The lake itself is one of the cleanest I've ever swum in and I loved the three mile walk/run around it. I could not have imaged a better or more perfect get away and Jen was the perfect host. We will be back!

The cabin was perfect it was exactly as described very clean and right on a crystal clear lake. Only 20 minutes from Keene made it a quiet but convenient location. Jennifer was extremely friendly and a great host

This place was adorable! The house was the perfect size for me and my three friends to take a vacation for the weekend. The view at the lake was beautiful and serene. The house, around 15 minutes away from Keene, was the perfect location to be removed from everything, yet close enough to the town that we could easily go out to dinner or go shopping. Jen was also a wonderful host, who provided restaurant recommendations, directions to hiking trails, and was readily available when we needed. Her dog, Dobby, made frequent visits and we enjoyed his company very much. We will definitely be coming back!

The Lilac House was a lovely place to stay; comfortable, clean, and a great location. Rickie communicated quickly, and made accommodations for a change in the number of guests without any difficulty. I highly recommend this house if you’re staying in Peterborough. I’ll definitely return in warmer weather to enjoy the deck and hiking trails nearby.

Michele is easy to communicate with and is eager to make you feel comfortable in her home.

Michele was friendly and accommodating of my late arrival. I had forgotten to bring my own towel, so she helpfully let me use one of hers. The construction of the house was indeed paused while I was there, but guests should know that the full bathroom on the floor with the bedroom had no door.

During my stay in Michele's sweet home I felt warm, comfortable and welcome. It was a pleasure to meet Michele and her daughter and their lovely brood of dogs and cats! Such beautiful energy in this house hold. Thanks again for welcoming me!

Michele was a lovely host. Very kind and friendly, the house was absolutely darling. It was nice to leave and come back to a greeting by one of the cats, and the pups were very sweet and laid back too. The futon was comfortable! I mostly spent my time here sleeping, but I felt very relaxed and welcomed during my stay. Would highly recommend to a young traveling female. Michele’s abode is just steps from downtown Keene, and she was so very helpful in making suggestions for things to do locally. Thank you again Michele!

Quaint and cozy New Englander, complete with friendly cats and dogs that greet you at the door. The second-floor room is just right for one person, with ample lighting, shelves, and a place to hang some things. I recommend bringing your favorite pillow to go with the futon experience : ) Lovely bathroom and sitting area just outside your room. Front porch catches the early morning sun and overlooks the gardens - a perfect way to start your day. Host is very pleasant and helpful. Location is ideal for walking to downtown or the college campus. A great value.

Michele’s place is adorable and very well located. It’s walking distance to Main Street in Keene where you’ll find pretty much everything you need! Parking and check in were easy, and Michele was very responsive! I’d definitely stay with her again for a weekend in Keene!

Christina's place was very homey and welcoming from the beginning. She left a complimentary bottle of wine which was a fantastic gesture. My dog loved it and the open space to run freely off-leash. The dogs (s) there were super friendly and energetic. They played for hours, and the people were quite friendly as well. Made for a great last minute getaway!

Will's place gave us a great weekend getaway! It's a beautiful, HUGE space with so many excellent amenities. We loved the provided foodstuffs in the kitchen, and all of the updates in the bathrooms. My favorite were the meticulous hardwood floors and super snuggly beds&linens, made up with great touches that felt like a hotel. The subtle smell of eucalyptus made the back rooms seem like a spa. Even without the fireplace working (temporary, and Will was extremely apologetic and hospitable about it), the space was incredible cozy with the provided candles. Will was gone for one night and he always made sure a friendly face (in this case, his parents running the B&B next door) was around to take care of anything, should we need it. The whole space would be amazing for two couples, with each provided a full bathroom. As it was my friend and I had what felt like a super luxurious weekend away, in this immaculately clean and relaxing space that is just a couple of blocks' walk to downtown Keene. Probably the best AirBnB I've ever stayed in! Thanks Will :)
