Perfectly situated on the NC500 and cycle route, this newly built well equipped shepherd's hut is a cosy place to rest your head. It can sleep up to 3 people. A microwave, kettle, mini-fridge and crockery make up the kitchen area. There is free wifi and a digital radio with bluetooth to enjoy. The bathroom has a shower, toilet and sink. The views across to Ben Wyvis and the Cromarty Firth are outstanding and the dark sky at night is excellent for star gazing. Red Kites frequently fly overhead.

This traditional Highland cottage is spacious, bright and cosy. Original features include a huge 18th century stone fireplace and slate floors, alongside modern comforts such as a wood burning stove, open plan kitchen, shower room and king size bed (+travel cot on request). The cottage is set in a private garden with views of fields and trees. Private parking. A fantastic base to discover beautiful walks and Highland landmarks; Strathpeffer village 1 mile, Inverness 18 miles, Route 500 2 miles.

Welcome to our gorgeous log cabin, completed to a very high standard. Situated in our garden, surrounded by fresh veg and fruit trees... a bit like the good life....Our cabin hosts a double bed, a seating area, en-suite with large shower.... and a decked balcony, with festoon lights... a bistro table and chairs for you to enjoy the spectacular view of the fields and mountains beyond. Guest suite within a renovated country cottage. Private entrance, two bedrooms with private living-room and two shower rooms. The kitchen is shared but available at all times as we dont use it when hosting. Large gardens and a rural location 12 miles from the centre of Inverness, this is a great base for exploring the Highlands. Visitors can access many Munroes and a wide range of other sights, walks and treks from here. Tea, Coffee and a continental breakfast are included in the price.

There is a beautiful walk around the river blackwater just minutes from the cabin with falls and old bridges.
