Simply amazing. Vilma is an excellent host. She made all our guests feel comfortable and welcomed. Everything was taken care of from food to drinks. She cooked all the meals herself since her chef was out of town and the food was delicious. Thanks again for making our stay memorable.

Vilma's villa is absolutely stunning! The photos don't even do it justice. We had such a wonderful experience staying here. Having the beach a few steps away, delicious home-made food, and great company made it a stay hard to forget. We got to spend some time with Vilma's family and just blended right in. Everyone, including the staff in the house (Amelia and Ruby are gems!) were always on hand and ready to cater to every need. With whale shark watching and waterfalls within walking distance too, I couldn't recommend this place more.

Staying at Vilma's place is a real soul retreat. The house is amazing, the breakfast is amazing, Vilma and staff are amazing, beach is amazing (i found Nemo!!!). All the tips and tricks of Vilma helped getting a real experience of The area. Whale sharks, waterfalls etc... We thorougly enjoyed it, from beginning untill the end. Much much recommended!

A dream place ! Excellent food, villa and above all, the private beach. I doubt there is a better place in Oslob and definitely much better then any hotel or resort of the area and just 5 mins away from the main whaleshark main atraction. Our stay at the Villa Modern Deluxe was amazing! The property is beautiful and our host Vilma was so sweet & welcoming. The house is just minutes away from the whalesharks, which is one of the main reasons we were visiting Cebu. Also, Vilma has many other services available. Whatever you want, she can set it up, for an extra cost of course, but it's so worth it! Airport transfers, jeepney rides, boat tours, babysitting, massages, and best of all, home cooked meals! This is my trip to the Philippines to live the highest price of the house, not only to clean up the room very satisfied, five living rooms and 10 no problem. Although not centrally located, but also very convenient, the landlord also provides free airport transfer

Overall, the advantages outweighed the disadvantages, more remote location at night hit tuk-tuk is not easy to find, the overall environment is good equipped beach house on the right of the United States spent just to see the sunrise. Housekeeper couple are very nice, encountered various problems can help you a good solution. All in all would recommend friends to go.

The "Glass house" is just as beautiful as the pictures in the add suggests. A very short walk to a nice little beach, with bigger and nicer free beaches just a few minutes drive away. The price is very reasonable when taking into consideration that there is no charge for extra guests (11 total), some other places listed price is for 2 or 4 guests with and extra charge for any guests over that. Also included was 1 bottle of drinking water, lots of towels in the CRs , use of laundry and very nice bedding and linens. Our group of seven had a great stay.

Tropical hideaway is really a good place to spend your holiday not only because the luxury house but also the view beside the sea. Tata is helpful, too. The only problem is the long distance to the city.

The landlord is very enthusiastic. Collective stay for four or more people. House divided into 2 layers, the first floor has a room, a bathroom, a kitchen, living room, dining table, television and the like. The second floor has three rooms. A big room clean and nice big bed, a small common room with a double bed; a small single room with a single bed; there is only one toilet on the second floor, in a large room inside ... there is a supermarket nearby, we bought seafood vegetables, clothed yourself ... great experience ...

It will be injustice if I won't provide feedback on three aspects which made our stay in Graham's place one of my best travels, to date. For Graham: The most accommodating host you could ever have. Communication was excellent - providing you with as much information as necessary and as transparent as he can get. He provides options too, and a very detailed overview of what to expect. For Aileen, the house staff: We are chasing an itinerary around the province, and Aileen made sure we do not run out of options or constraint with activities. She made sure we understood what we are up to, and followed-up our needs as much as she can. When at the house, she guided us through what we needed to know -- and gave us the privacy we wanted after she's done. An excellent service. For the house: EXTREMELY BEAUTIFUL! Exactly what we were dreaming of having. The pool was warm and comfortably awesome -- the kitchen is a heaven. If anyone of us knows how to bake, we could have had. It's armed with almost everything a kitchen-lover would need. The rooms were big and comfortable.. and everything was just pure beauty. I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN TO THIS PLACE! That's not shouting, that's screaming for joy! ;-)

Very nice, scenic, serene, idyllic location. traveled with group of friends and our families. we loved that the place offered great relaxation without so much travelling hassles. the great staffs , good service and a clean & cozy home definitely made our overnight stay delightful.

Graham's beach house is truly one of a kind. It is very private and absolutely gorgeous. His property manager, Aileen, is also truly amazing. She was beyond helpful in organizing transportation to and from the Iloilo airport. While getting to the house can be a challenge, it is well worth the travel struggle to get to this paradise. I highly recommend staying at Graham's place if you want a peaceful and relaxing vacation in the Philippines, you should look here. Also if you are coming from Hong Kong, I highly recommend looking into Cebu Pacific Airways direct flights rather than connecting in Manila.

This beach house is the most beautiful one around all the islands, even in iloilo city, the beach is clean and private, the house is clean and tidy, living here is just like living in our own home. Looking forward to back again

Few things to consider if you want to book this place though; 1. You're living on a secluded place make sure you have enough food and necessities to last you for the duration of your stay. Transportation is quite scarce and expensive ($10 to Jordan and back 42km return) and getting to place requires a kilometer walk to the road where you can find transport and of course a kilometer back to the house plus all your groceries which you will have to carry. However if you have budgeted for it then arranged it with Aileen and she will be more than willing to assist(URL HIDDEN)The km walk isn't your normal trek to the park kinda walk, this is forest walk (were you can ask Kerwin to guide you) it is muddy if it did rain, has some rocky and uphilly section and if you are an adventurous type and planning to walk in the evening bring flashlights with you because there are no street lights ( well what do you expect it is a forest a walk). And please do ask Kerwin if you haven't trek the forest yet going to the town, because believe me there is a big chance that you might get lost. But this trek is definitely an adventure of its own!!! 2. If you have tons of suitcases make sure you ask aileen to get you an exclusive boat that takes you from the iloilo pier to the jetty itself, reason why is because you don't want to carry all your suitcases for a kilometer. If you need an explanation refer to no. 1 3. Age is definitely not an issue however if you are disable i wouldn't recommend this place to you. Getting to the place requires you to get off a boat and take a steep flight or walk a kilometer to a forest with rocky and hilly sections. 4. Choose your flights well. Remember you are taking a boat to the island. I would suggest a morning or early flight. You wouldn't want to miss the view of course and you wouldn't want to be on a boat pass sunset. Believe me, I am a former seafarer Im used to the high seas but on a small boat on open seas I did feel anxious ill admit, especially my entire family are on it and it was day when we traveled, how much more if its pitch black and choppy waters. anyways check in is at 2pm. Hope this helps!!!!

Grahams house in the Philippines is truly magnificent. With your own beach and pool and secluded from everything else you can do nothing but have a good time. Aileen and the others living in the staff house took great care of us and everything went very smoothly. It takes a bit to get there, but it is definitely worth it!

We had very relaxing vacations in Graham's house. The trip from Iloilo was efficiently organised with Aileen , who booked a van to pick us at the airport and bring us to the mall to buy food, and then to bring us to take to boat. The house is extremely well equipped, particularly the kitchen :we could cook anything we wanted to. We organised a visit to Iloilo to see a church from 18th century , and Aileen has very very helpful is organising the whole trip. The ride from the house through the jungle and the arrival in the village nearby is a ballad I recommend . A super stay!

What can I say about this vacation other than Memorable and Epic. I was born and grew up in the Philippines where beaches are a part of life - so that is saying A LOT. Within a week of making my booking, Graham's housekeeper Aileen was in touch straight away asking how she could help make our vacation that much easier. We were a party of 11 people with 2 toddlers. With her help, we booked a cook for the duration of our stay, a van driver to pick us up from the airport and a banca ride to and from the island. Aileen also booked us a boating expedition to some of the other coves where my family explored more caves in the banca. She organised food to be bought before we arrived on the island and all we had to do was show up! The house is even better in real life and the staff there were always ready to help. The design is very sympathetic to the landscape and if you've ever seen Love Affair with Warren Beatty and Annette Benning - this house is so reminiscent of Katherine Hepburn's home they visit in Tahiti. The beaches are secluded and private and there is an amazing water cave just off the shoreline which is great for exploring. The pool is very clean - I think its salt-water which is SO good and a good option to have with little ones. I might suggest booties if you want to go exploring the rock-pools during low tide on the beach- just stay off the living coral! this is very much an untouched paradise where you need to respect mother nature at its finest. On the final night we were there, we had a little party on the beach with some music and invited the house staff to join us for for the revelries as it was the New Year period. We had such an amazing time, we are going to miss this place so much - just as much as the people that helped us during our stay. Thank you Aileen for all your help and Graham for letting out your house and sharing it with us - it was truly one for the books. We will return!

The apartment was very spacious, modern and clean. It is contained in a secure compound that maintains safety and assists in tempering the city sounds. It was very easy to enjoy a good night's rest or enjoy a meal while watching cable. The apartment is very complete and is supported by a staff that assures a comfortable stay for the guests. We even received rides from and to the airport which eased the trip and completed the vision of staff support for guests.

Great stay! The apartment was huge and included large comfortable couches and chairs, a complete dining room, and a modern kitchen. The staff was on the grounds and very helpful and friendly. They even included some staples like fresh milk in the fridge. Only good things to say about Arjan and this property.

The landlord was very kind, personally to the airport, the same day the plane was delayed more than one hour. Also worried about the boss does not receive, the plane saw the enthusiasm of Arjan and James. Very very clean room, is also very convenient to go out called Tutu. She lived three days in the need to go to the pier to buy tickets, since the rainy initiative James drove us to buy, moved to no. Finally, when leave personally delivered to the pier. If the next to go there, I will come back to live!

In the Duma stayed two days, a great bed and breakfast, room after that did not feel this good, the landlord is also responsible for all aspects of communication is very smooth, there will be free shuttle driver to dock housing location out of town, but the Duma is small, easy walk tutu.

We absolutely loved the staff and they made our stay even better than it already was. We also liked the unique shape of the building and the breath taking views of the ocean. The room was super clean and well kept, just like how it looks in the photos. It was super easy to get to the resort using the bus from Cebu City and the host was very helpful and efficient with communicating with us prior to and during our stay. They also helped us with the activities we wanted to do like swimming with the whale sharks and Aguinid Falls. I would definitely recommend this resort to anyone who wants to stay in Oslob!

Nice place with really nice rooms who can accommodate 3 people. Had some problems with signal from the cable, but not really going here to watch TV. A bit far from the actual whale watching and waterfalls, but Jessie Glenn did his best to help us get there and gave us a great breakfast before whalewatching. Great place!

Listing is accurate, place is better than in pictures if I must say. We had a very very good time in the resort. Jason (and the other staff as well) had been very helpful -- from setting up the extra bed in our room, accompanying us to the market (for fresh fish/squid) and cooking our sumptuous dinner. Sir Jessie has been the perfect host as well -- answering all my queries before I even booked the place, and even giving us pasalubong from Singapore! Such nice and gracious hosts! 15mins by tricycle to whale watching, the place is perfect for couples/small families and friends. It has the perfect view for sunrise.

Had a wonderful experience staying in Tum's Resort. Their rooms are unique, clean, spacious and tidy. The hosts are very responsive to our queries. They even went the extra miles to provide additional informations and even offered to help in arrangement for the attractions. We're especially impressed and grateful to JR and the Security Guard (Sorry we didn't get his name) who was on duty on the 4th Aug evening for their hospitality.

Jessie is fantastic. He replied to each of my questions immediately . He tried his best to help me recommending a driver (J.O.R) who gave us a very reasonable charges, friendly, honest & accompanied us as a tour guide too. The hotel rooms are very spacious and very pleasant seafront (exactly as shown in the pictures). Only have 2 rooms and it makes us felt so exclusive. The staffs is very handy and helpful, especially JR and Jane. They were our tour guide for whaleshark watching and Tumalog Falls with no charges. Jessie also offered a Swedish massage for 1/2 hour to us by his staff, Jane. I understand Muslim tourist has difficulties in finding a Halal Food in Oslob. Therefore, as a Muslim guests, I highly recommended this hotel to other Muslims out there, where you can cook your own meals. I am very confident to use all of the cooking utensils as I washed before using it in a religious way (samak). Lack to us are - 1) no broadcast tv (which we did not put as a priority) and 2) no water flow in the toilet on the morning of the 2nd day. But once notified, the hotel staff make sure the tank is always filled with water. 3) no pipe and sink at the kitchen. Attractive location, spacious and clean room, the view of the hotel is superb, very peaceful and relaxing, I would highly recommended this hotel to all.

Really enjoy and pictures of the house! Like aircraft at sea, lying in the room you can see the scenery on the beach, lying in the yard at night can also be the stars, listening to the sound of the waves, too relaxed, like a dream. Take care of our little brother who is very good, and gave us breakfast and dinner do, very tasty, but also help us wash clothes, did not have time to tip very sorry ah. . . If the next will go live in the house in the yard for a day is also very comfortable place ~

Great resort hotel. White is a beautiful room, which was based on. Is just around the corner is the best beaches and there is a hammock atmosphere. It is a terrible place of recommended for people to experience the whale watching, etc. of the whale shark in Osurobu! I get up early in the bus from Cebu City (South bus terminal) was utilized in the Maedomari because it was bitter. Also equipped with a delicious breakfast, administrator of the corresponding was also polite. There is also a water server. Security surface was also able to spend a night in peace with preeminent.

I stayed two nights at the Tum's, by the sea, facing the sea, very comfortable, clean and the staff was very friendly, breakfast is also very good. 45-minute drive from the pier, whale watching 25 minutes, five minutes from the town, near the local villagers. I like Tum's resort, nice staff, nice view and great breakfast.Thanks a lot.

The studio apartment was cozy and stylish at the same time. It's perfect for short term accomodation in Bacolod City. It is located 15min away from the airport and is accessible through jeepneys shuttle and located right beside Robinson's Bacolod. The apartment was complete with bathroom and kitchen amenities, perfect for short business trips or staycations. The owner, Rene, was also very accomodating and helpful as well. Highly recommended airbnb selection in Bacolod City.

All good!!! Just next door there s 50restaurants in Robinson. 7:30 breakfast please open downstairs. Full of welcome from householder and guards at building. Pharmacy just downstairs so my baby had fever but still we didnt run here n there... Very crean, big enough bed and good clean pillows n covers too... And best swimming pool in Bacolod!!! Every day !!! We r there.....

Firstly I'd like to thank Erik and Vilma for the most wonderful stay in their beautiful home. We stayed in the master bedroom which we would high recommend, big and spacious with its own private balcony - the view was spectacular! This couple takes hosting to a whole new level - to the point where the word "accommodating" would be an understatement of how well I was treated during my stay. Vilma took care of everything I need plus more. I came here planning to do just whaleshark-watching but her vast knowledge of their territory helped provide suggestions on other activities - Kawasan falls + Canyoneering which I really enjoyed the most. She just simply know what you need before you need it. Of course, the place is awesome to begin with. They have a really nice beachfront access wherein if your timing is great, you would be amazed with white sand. The rooms are spacious with a cozy and modern bathroom design. The location is just a stone's throw away from the orientation area for the whaleshark-watching activity and a couple of kilometers away from the port going to Sumilon island. The breakfast that they serve is at par with hotels. Their rates may be a bit on the pricey side relative to its neighboring hotels but I assure you that's nothing compared to the comfort, warmth and satisfaction that you will get from the experience. What struck me the most is the friendliness and feeling of belongingness that the staff and host extends to you - it's like being home away from home. A definite must-stay in Oslob.

Love our stay at villa modern deluxe and have been recommending it to our friends after we were back. The room was very clean, had an attached private bathroom with well equipped toiletries. Room was very comfortable and big enough for two huge luggages :) only thing that needs improvement would be the wifi connectivity then it would be perfect! Vilma was a great host together with Amalia her helper who helped to take care of us and made us feel safe especially for two girls on an adventure. Love how you can access the beautiful beach area easily too! Oh yes, I loved how convenient it was to order home cooked dinner. Perfect place for your summer getaway as it is merely 10 to 15 mins away from whale shark watching, aguinid falls, tumalog falls and sumilion island. Thank you for such a great stay!:)

Highly recommend staying here, the hospitality was beyond our expectations. Tours and transport to dinner etc was arranged for us straight away whenever requested. The location is amazing and we did the whale shark diving twice as it was around the corner! Bring cash as it's hard to get money out nearby. We will be returning again :)

We met Vilma instead (Erik's wife) and she was great. The first challenge is finding the house, i'll save you the trouble. Look for Cangcua-ay Chapel in (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN), the house is right across the street. The house is absolutely beautiful, the room is nice and clean, air conditioning is strong and cold. You have to walk down the a bit to get to the beach but the beach is absolutely gorgeous. The beach is not private, it was open to the public every day so don't expect to be there alone. That doesn't take away the fact that you will love this place. The only thing that needs improvement a bit is communication. Breakfast is included but Vilma is very vague about the lunch/dinner/transportation prices and what's included so it would be good to ask and get firm prices so there's no surprises at the end. Also, wifi didn't work at all the 3 days we were there so that was a bit disappointing. Overall it was a great experience and i think everyone would enjoy it with the right expectations.

We had an awesome stay at Villa Modern De Luxe. Erik's place had spectacular views of the sea, the Sumilon and the Siquijor islands. My friends and I felt very at home with Vilma's excellent hosting. From the delicious breakfast to the various conversations we had during our stay, Vilma, with her team, Amelia & Patrick, went above and beyond in accommodating us and was very insightful for us first time visitors of the Oslob area. The place also offers massage services and it is highly recommended by my friends. The beach below the property is also worth checking out despite the stairs. The place is very near the whale shark watching area. It was truly a great Oslob experience and all of us would love to come back soon.

Arjan's place is absolutely fantastic! It's a very modern home with everything looking very new. There is a huge common room to relax in and the bedrooms are spacious. It's easier enough to catch a tricycle down the street into town which is about a 10 minute ride. The only minor downside is there is no AC in the common area but the place is still well worth it!

Arjan and the stuffs are so nice and friendly to us.even though I always inform them our scheduels in the last minute.The apt. is awesome. we four people enjoyed and had a good rest. Thanks!

Gwen and I had a wonderful time staying at Arjan's place during our time in Dumaguete. It was comfortable, it was clean and knowing we'd return to warm showers, cool A/C, and reliable internet after a day out exploring is so reassuring. Arjan (and his family) were very welcoming hosts. We left Dumaguete wishing we had more time to spend in it and our experience staying at Arjan's was a big part of that. It really was the ideal Airbnb experience.

Great location, beautiful island. House is located right behind Boca Bar and restaurant making for a convenient place to grab a meal or a drink after a day at the beach.

Perfect view and comfortable with wind from the sea. Just near Baha bar, you can even order food and ask them to send to your room. Overall, it's a great place to stay longer.

We (two German couples) enjoyed our stay at this property. You can super relax and enjoy life. And if you need something that Baha bar with its nice staff and great food is right next door.

We had a great relaxing time in this house! Especially the Bahabar was great and friendly and very attentive wait staff! The only that was not so good, was the two days we could not use the pool due to renovations. But all in all we would come back !! Thank Bahabar :-)

Perfect for an extended family stay. Great beach location, spacious and comfortable accomodation. Great staff, food and bar entertainment. A popular venue, and rightly so. Lots nearby on the beach and locally for our infant son to explore, caring nanny for our baby. Pool a plus. Having said all this, I hope Rhumbutan is still available for our next visit!

Steve's place was great. Very convenient location on the main road. There is also a bar and grill connected to the property, on a few feet away from breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Steve was not in town but his partner and their team were all there to help make things go perfectly.

There is only one 6 star place in Ilo Ilo city and that's Joyanne beautiful house. The gated entrance adds an extra level of security to an already very secure location. The house itself is beautifully laid out and everything from the carved sofas to the wet rooms is of a very high quality. Joyanne attention to the tiny details (Cold purified water in the fridge, air con switch on before arrival, hair dryer etc) made it feel just like home. Although we didn't require Joyanne, we knew she was always available. Messages were answered quickly. She was happy to help with any request / information. Joyanne's place is perfect and of great value. Easy to find from the airport. We were 4 people and we were very comfortable in the house. The house had everything we needed for our trip to Iloilo and was very clean. Plenty of drinking water was provided so no need to worry about that. Kitchen has everything if you need to cook. Joyanne is the perfect host, easy to communicate with and makes checking out and checking in very convenient. Next time we are back in Iloilo, we will stay here again.

Joyanne is by far the best host I have come across during my airbnb experience. Her home was extremely clean and well equipped. I felt safe with the tight security in Westwood Residence. I stayed with my family for 4 days and would definitely love to come back to this lovely residence soon. Loved the fact that SM MALL was so near abt 3 mins by grabcab/taxi. Airport was only 10-15mins away. Overall I can't stop raving abt Joyanne's hospitality. She is indeed A1 host!!

Three friends and I booked Joyanne's lovely two story townhouse for a four day cycling adventure in the area. It was absolutely perfect for our needs. Location is great in an upscale subdivision with good security. We used it as a very comfortable base for our daily cycling trips. The subdivision even has a nice pool which we were welcomed to use though with our busy schedule it never happened. The owner stays in the same subdivision and were very attentive to our questions , always made sure we had fresh drinking water daily, etc. When I mentioned I had forgot to pack my yoga mat at home...I was pleasantly surprised to see a brand new one just purchased and sitting in the hallway...again how thoughtful is that ! The four of us agreed it was a great choice to book Joyanne's place and we would surely do it again and highly recommend to others !

Joyanne's place is home away from home. It is modern, comfortable and cozy. It is located in a gated subdivision thus the area is peaceful, serene and safe. Transportation is not a problem since "Light of Glory", a local taxi service, can be called to fetch one anytime. Our hosts, Joyanne and her father, are both warm and accommodating. Neat place, clean and well equipped if you have the time to cook. Owner is also easy to talk to and the place is just right for our group of four. Free ride from airport to the house via tricycle is also a plus and quite an experience for first timer.

The place is exactly what's on the pictures. Very cozy and elegant place! We love the comfort and the homey feels! You can cook your meals, do the laundry and relax on the comfortable rooms after a long day of roaming around. With minibar set up at a very reasonable price. It is very convenient and accessible because its very near the Airport, port to Oslob if you want to go whaleshark watching or side trip in Sumilon island. Near Dumaguete City too! Even if you want to go Dolphin watching in Bais or Visit the Maldives of the Philippines-Manjuyod and swim with sea turtles in Apo Island, this is still the best place to choose! The host, Ms Joy is very warm and accommodating. Though we haven't met her personally we felt the hospitality and assistance. She provided us with everything we need and was very helpful. Will definitely stay here again when I come back to Dumaguete! ❤

Wifi slow. Bad cell phone signals and the first floor, the second floor have a 3g signal. But they are a small problem, a good landlord, never before has been active initiative to send a message to me, but also help me please a tutu driver, I was so touched! I had wanted to cook their own food, and has no time. Very nice little villa. Thank you, the landlord gave me a perfect holiday!

I put some of the members of my team up in this house, and they were very happy with it. By Western standards I would say it's "not bad/pretty good." It's new and relatively clean. A few snafus with getting the keys, but no major issues to report.

Our stay feels like home away from home. We love it!! Everything about the house is nice. It is very clean and stylish. Plus the host (Ms. Joy) is very accommodating and nice to us. We would like to stay again here once we get back to Dumaguete.

Our stay at Kathy's beach house was amazing. 6 of us stayed for ~3 days. We arranged it last minute, and we were glad to find her house available! It was conveniently located right on the beach, and we could walk right in to the water. The beach is a bit rocky so I'd recommend buying or bringing water shoes, and also bringing or buying your own snorkels/goggles if you have them (we rented them, but they weren't the best). On the beach, you're in walking distance from several good restaurants and places to get snacks or beer. Otherwise, you can take a tricycle in to town to get groceries or go to other places. The house feels secluded, but also connected to other people via the beach. Linens and towels were provided to us, but there wasn't any WiFi (not that we wanted it with the beach so close)! There is a security man on site, Brando, who is absolutely amazing and was the highlight of our stay. He helped us arrange renting snorkels, transportation by tricycle into town, plan a trip to Oslob to see whale sharks, canyoneering at Kawasan Falls, and taking a boat out to snorkel as well. On the last night, he even offered to cook us a traditional Philippine meal if we bought ingredients (and he helped us go to the market and picked out what he needed)! It was delicious. Highly recommend utilizing him and asking any questions you have from him. Kathy was kind enough to arrange transportation to/from Cebu City airport for us, which was excellent, though the driver was late both ways (however, he built in plenty of time and we were not late to our flight). The trip to/from the airpot was 2 hours going to the house, and 3 hours back to the airport due to our timing and the traffic. The house itself is very nice and spacious, with standard basic amenities. The beds are comfortable enough, though some of us got cold at night with the AC and we could have used extra bedsheets. The kitchen has plates, cups, utensils, etc. as well as a fridge and stove. There is also a water jug that they refill with filtered water. In all, it was an excellent experience with very few complaints. Highly recommended!

My experience at the beach house was great. Kathy was always in communication with us.Brando was very pleasant to be around. He offered lots of assistance. The listing is very accurate. You're right on the beach with the other resorts. Just walk out of the gate and unto the beach. Perfect. Based on another reviewer, I came expecting the beach to be a rocky (full of rocks and pebbles) and I didn't fine that. True the beach isn't all sand, but the rock is with the sand, not lose pebbles. Sort of like walking in a pool with concrete bottom. I only mention this because I thought it would be uncomfortable to walk bare foot along the beach because of rocks and pebbles. But it was very comfortable. Everything was great. Family and fun was the intention for renting the beach house and we had a ball. My only regret is that we couldn't stay longer. The family kept debating on whether to go for 3 days or 2 days, because we had some seniors with us. We settled on 2 days, but then even Mom and Dad wished we can stay longer! I look forward to returning to this beach house. Next time, it will be a weeks stay!

My family and I stayed here to celebrate my grandma's birthday; we were 18 people in all. We were very pleased with our experience. The beach house was very spacious and well-maintained. Plus we enjoyed the exclusivity and private access to the beach. The host and staff are very polite and easy to talk to. Our only concern is the airconditioner in one of the rooms wasn't working properly (it wouldn't cool the room but there were fans available so it wasn't so bad). This place is perfect for vacations, reunions and team outings. Highly recommended if you are a big group looking for an accommodation in Moalboal.

PROs: House is really a great location and truly steps to the beach. Ample sleeping-capacity as advertised. CONs: Based on the comments from other visitors, we had a very different experience with the in-house-staff: they were never around. We did get a bill for lost-towels at 850p each, so I'd be sure to ask how many towels are in the house before you arrive. General Comment: I guess in this situation we were expected to clean the house as we cooked and such. Other locations I have stayed at with kitchens were cleaned by the staff - this one was not. I am not leaving this as a negative-comment of our stay, just a general observation.

Kathy's house and location are stunning. If you have a small or large groip and are looking for a quiet place away from the crowds it will be a wonderful retreat. The porch overlooking the beach was a favorite hangout and wonderful place to catch the sunset over Negros. The beach is a nice placr for sunning, and many will appreciate the snorkling and drop off just 50 meters from shore. (I was snorkling Moal Boal in the 70's and unfortunately most of tge corals are dead snd dying, but it was still better than the snorkling trips we did inEl Nido). Unfortuunstel when we arrived just after the 2:00 check in the house was not near ready. The previous group had just left and the house was such a mess from their party it wasn't until 5:00 PM tgat the rooms were ready. This despite the frantic scramblimg of yhe caretaker and maid. Even once in, there was no drinking water and I had to pay the caretaker to pick up a big jug for the cooler. We dud enjoy the place. The restaurants and resorts nearby ptovidrd nice options for eating. The dirctions to the house and signage could be better--we gound (SENSITIVE CONTENTS HIDDEN) maps misleading and needed to ask directions several times. I would recommend, but the host needs yo better manage their guests and preparation so the house is ready at the sppointed time.

We had a great time in the place, it was relatively peaceful and quiet although there was a circumstance that happened, i would not blame the host for it though. We chose not to ruin our stay because of some unreasonable relatives. The place is so serene and yes it's lovely. One room has a broken air conditioner which is a bit of an issue because we can't just open the windows because of insects, we had to make do with three rooms. We didn't use the extra guest room which is located separately from the main house. The host Kathy is very responsive and all issues were resolved immediately. Thank you so much. Andy's place is wonderful! A truly unique spot to stay with super hosts. Andy and Juvee will take care of everything you need on the island. We loved this Airbnb and would visit again anytime. We enjoyed staying here over our holiday. They made us feel at home and Andy even invited us to a small Christmas party at his friend's house. We enjoyed homemade banana bread and playtime with Mimi the monkey and their adorable dogs. We'll be back!

It was indescribably beautiful! Andi and Juvy were incredibly helpful and friendly to observe the neighborly village life super exciting and all are open and friendly. The "outdoor kitchen" is built into the cliffs and offers great views of the sea and the sunset. We did not miss anything and we had real pain of separation when we had to leave Siquior.

The hotel has plenty of charm and invites you to linger, however, is not easy to reach. The hosts have a very warm welcome and were us a help in planning the trip. We can recommend the hotel to all who want to live in a quiet place and explore the island.

Staying at Andy and Juvy's place was wonderful. It's truly a unique experience in a quite rural part of Siquijor. This is a perfect place for people who like a wholesome experience when visiting an unfamiliar land. When we arrived Andy and Juvy showed us around the property which if you stay here, you'll understand is essential since certain amenities are spread out. After showing us around Juvy cooked us some lovely desserts as a snack after our day of traveling. Little touches like this make you feel incredibly welcome in their company. I don't wish to write too much about the ins and outs of the property or our experience staying there but I will say that anyone who does visit will not regret it as you'll be surrounded by so much friendliness and natural beauty.

Andy and Juvy get 50 points from 10 for their hospitality. :))) They are very nice people, cold coconuts were waiting for us in the fridge, Juvy is an amazing chef:) If we had any requests, they helped us immediately. We are happy to get them know. Unfortunately the accommodation itself gets 6 points from 10. The kitchen was amazing. The sunset is unforgettable. The kitchen has everything you need. If not, Juvy will have it for you for sure:) unfortunately the bed wasn't comfortable. After letting Andy know, he tried to fix the issue immediately. It helped a lot but it still wasn't the best. And my girlfriend didn't like the bathroom very much. It looks very nice. But it disturbed her, that Andy's balcony is very near to it and the privacy is a bit of question. But we are still happy staying at their place.

Andy and his lovely wife greated us in a very frienldy way. The room looked even better than on the pictures. Their place is paradise on earth. Isolated so you can have privacy and enjoy the view and the nature, but still close to attractions to see around. Their house is amazing. From the bthroom and kitchen you have a spectacular view over the see. It has it own enterance to the see so you can enjoy a nice swim on hot days. This is really the best place to have a shower! We had a very great time. Had a traditional philippino dinner together, and went out together to grab dinner the other night and even did karaoke! Andy, his wofe and their friends are super kind and helpful, they helped us organizing our tours and had fun tgether in the night. We higky recommend it.

This beautiful villa exceeded all expectations, and we warmly recommend you to visit Obong. The host and the reception was very welcoming, reliable and professional, and this huge villa really was luxurious regarding necessities and all other things. The property has a lovely and clean pool, and there are several areas outdoor where you could relax and enjoy the evenings. The property is secured with a fence, and the standard of the villa is highly westernized, making us feel comfortable and at home. The two house maids were very pleasant and helpful - giving us the feeling of staying at a hotel, yet discreet and giving us room for privacy. Obong is a very charming and peaceful area, making us feel in touch with the local culture of the Philippines. People in the area seem very friendly, and we found it easy to get in touch with both locals and tourists. Obong Spring is only a short walk from the villa, and there are tricycles driving past outside the villa if you want to visit Tingo beach or the local town and market in Dalaguete or Alcoy.

We had an enjoyable stay at this villa, it was luxurious indeed! Very spacious specially the bed rooms. I loved that the kitchen was big and very functional with complete kitchen implements. My daughter specially loved the pool! The location is perfect for our group as we found it to be quiet and peaceful yet very accessible. The villa is very near Obong spring, literally a stone's throw away, while Tingko beach is just a tricycle ride away. Special thanks to the host for allowing us to check in as early as 3am and to Hannah and Ivy for waiting for us that early! They were very accommodating and even gave suggestions for places to go to. We stayed there for only 5 days, and will definitely go back soon for more Southern Cebu adventures!

Great place particularly if you've got a group. When I originally booked there were only 6 of us. Our group multiplied but Oyvind communicated with me the whole time, even though sometimes it was difficult for me as I didn't have wifi. We were met by Ivy and Honey and they helped us out in any way possible. We knew they were there but made themselves scarce so we felt we were on our own. A 40 min drive to Oslob and we were swimming with the whale sharks which is an experience I highly recommend. We booked a hut on the beach on our way back and snorkelled and swam for the rest of the day. The house also has a karaoke machine all ready to go which provided us with heaps of fun and laughs (not sure what the neighbours thought) lol. Seriously, I spoke to Ivy when we got there and she told us when we needed to be out of the pool and be quiet as you do tend to get out of control on holidays. I regret I didn't get to the springs which is only 5 mins away but we created so many memories in this special part of the world. Thanks Oyvind, Ivy and Honey.

The location of the hostel sent a very easy to travel in an intermediate position between five and moal boal slip. Find also easy and has great facilities. We were able to solve the Hospitality room I stayed was seven simple enough to cook. Friendly and nice to you for a caretaker lady is so good and the hostel want another coming next. This was a really nice place. Every room in the house was extra large, the kitchen was huge & the bathrooms were nice and really big too. The pool was really nice and has a balcony overlooking. Luxurious, spacious house Oyvind has everything necessary for living. There may well accommodate 8 people. Good furniture, large TV, good air conditioner 7, large kitchen with kitchenware, a large pool with waterfall holodilnik.Krasivy. Nearby beautiful beach Tingo Beach, just 20 pesos on traytsikle, Near town Dalagete where there is a market, a supermarket, prices are lower than in other tourist areas, local people are not spoiled by tourists. To the near whale sharks, and peak Osmeniya which offers a beautiful view of the entire island of Negros can be seen in good weather, will take you there for 150 - 200 pesos in both directions on the motorbike. Before Cebu City walk comfortable, air-conditioned buses, 2.5 hour journey over 120 pesos. There are many interesting places to which can be easily reached by bus or rent a motorbike rental. Oyvind owner decides all questions of Norway quickly through the women caretakers Ivy and her sister, always be in touch, attentive man who will do everything to make your vacation was good. Thank Oyvind! We feel at home.

Its a good for family and friends who wants to base their escapade in the south. Its super spacious and the rooms have decent furnitures and stuff for cooking. The staff were very helpful and accommodating and the owner easy to communicate with. The pool was also good mid-size. Overall our stay at the place was very comfortable.

It DOESN'T worth USD 100 per night !!! I booked it at USD 40 per night, I didn't feel satisfied though. The host Juvy hadn't mentioned that the breakfast not included until I completed booking ( she should mentioned it before my booking and toughly replied to my request by saying " If you are not happy with it, you may cancel your booking". Its actual location is about one km away from Siquijor Pier, you may even walk there if you have no heavy luggage with you, but there is no clear direction showing up after the completion of booking and there is no signpost on roadside either. Its hard to find it and you have to rely on their pick-up, where they overcharge you 50-100 pesos ( in their opinion it is just one or two bucks) for 2-3 minutes tricycle ride! ( 20 pesos is reasonable) When we got there, Wifi was not ready, we had to wait for the housekeeper to go to buy a loading card and make it works! They should make it ready beforehand. There is no aircon in the living room and too many mosquitoes both in the living room and bedroom. You really can't sit on the terrace to chill out if you don't wanna bites. The housekeeping team always made noise by watching TV, speaking loudly and even getting together for a party! We planned to stay for three nights thus Juvy asked if she makes three nights totaling USD 120 ( 108 goes to Juvy while 12 as Airbnb service fee) online, I proposed to make one night only online and will make direct deal with her for two additional nights by cash in order to avoid USD 8 service fee, which Juvy agreed to. But when we got there, Juvy didn't agree to that we pay her USD 72 requesting 80, I made compromise that we both benefit from the avoided service fee 8 bucks ( pay her 76 for two additional nights and I save 4 bucks ), which Juvy didn't agree to either. I had to propose that she make it online through Airbnb for these two additional nights either if she insists on 80. She replied with the following: Dear Mark, thanks for your points of view. We propose you three alternatives. 1. Pay Conny (tonight at the latest) the 80 USD cash for the remaining two nights. 2. Make a new reservation of the house at the Airbnb site for the regular price. 3. Find another place to stay for the remaining two nights. I didn't think either of three options fair and reasonable and still insisted on my opinion : either 76 by cash or 80 online via Airbnb. Eventually Alf, Juvy’s Swedish hubby, called to say he is the property owner and toughly ask us to pay 80 immediately or leave. We decided to leave and found Bruce in San Huan, thanks to Alf's toughness, we got a much better place.

It an amazing experiences in this beach house , the resident nearby is nice and the children is cute, and the owner have perfect arrangement for our tour, pick us from port ,and book van for island tour, prepare good materials for breakfast early in the morning, and even book the boat tickets to Dumaguete and sent to us on the port by the staff, and they also have one mini shop in the garden , so its easy to buy something need and also the price is reasonable, and their staff provide good service for us all the time , Its really a pity for us just stay one night here, if available, i will book more days there for next trip in SIQ!

Very praise house, housekeeper cony also very good, took us to the market to buy food and tickets, but also help us find someone fishing for sea urchin, breakfast is also good, the beach entrance is great, a lot of crabs starfish and sea urchins, bathing water is large, live many local small, poor water, is too short a time in Siquijor, the next opportunity to stay here!

This was our 2nd visit to siquijor and this time it was better. Thanks to Juvy, her caretaker Connie, who helped us with whatever we needed, and her beautiful home. It has all the things we needed to cook and the beach was literally right on your doorstep. It wouldve been perfect if there were electric fans around the kitchen since summer in siquijor is very hot and humid and some mosquitoes went in the house. Nevertheless, it is one of the best places to stay in Siquijor. Will definitely be coming back next year.

House good location, away from the city center and the sea, marina are 15-20 minutes walk away. Homeowners provide free shuttle starting. Butler offers very attentive service, in-room facilities are modern and very complete, we have a total of 3 nights, did not catch the scene, just hang out every day, and then buy food to cook, real slow life of leisure.

Corner of the Neva pizza shop is a traditional charcoal grilled taste good, only 200p. If we go public market to buy seafood, please 15:00 to go, otherwise the only fish to sell.

We were hosting a group of 6 and Simon's apartment was great. It is well equipped with kitchen utensils, satellite TV, and fast WiFi. The three upstairs bedrooms were perfect for the three couples coming and going at different times. It is in a quiet neighborhòd yet convenient to the airport, a short walk to several popular oceanfront restaurants and a short tricycle ride to downtown Dumaguete. And did I mention the unit was close to new? Communications with Simon was fast and friendly and the on site stay were always ready to answer questions. If you are hosting a group or looking at an extended stay definitely check it out.

Simon and his team made us very welcome in the apartment. Very clean and spacious with the facilities we needed. Good location close to the town centre but away from the noise. Simon and Gayle were fantastic in helping me when I was sick and needed help going to hospital. Highly recommend Marina Residences.

We felt right at home at Marina Residences. Everything we needed was provided for in the apartment, even personally taking us to the places we needed to go and arranging our flight changes. They are located within walking distance to the boulevard and the famous Hayahay Treehouse Bar & Restaurant where you can satisfy anything you're craving for on the island. Our stay here made our first visit to Dumaguete very memorable and we will definitely stay here again!

The host was very accommodating and responded quickly to all my concerns. The place was nice. It had complete amenities. The only problem is that it's a bit of a walk to reach the streets to catch a ride - around 5-10 min walk. But the pedicabs know the street so it's okay when going home.

Yoo C was out of town, but her brother and sister helps us check in and answered any and every question we had. The neighbors are also so helpful. The house itself was great! It was clean and roomy and the AC definitely helped. We also loved the dogs! Location wise, it's great. Initially hard to find, but after getting to know the neighborhood a bit more, it was only a 5 minute tricycle ride away from great food (try Lantaw!)

I needed an extra night and the place I was staying was not available, so I booked this apartment for my extended stay. I was hesitant to stay in a place that was not reviewed, but this place looked pretty good. Unfortunately, the host did not provide an adequate description. The best thing I can say about the place is it is spacious, clean, and has excellent internet. What the host does not tell you is this brand new building is in a what I can best describe as an "indigenous" Filipino neighborhood. The paved road leading to the general area is more of an alleyway, not a road. And the place does not front the paved road, it is about 200 meters off the road in the middle of single family homes that are not the caliber of the construction of this building. As such, there were barking dogs and crowing roosters at 4 am. There is only air conditioning in the master bedroom, rendering the rest of the place essentially unusable for those of us not accustomed to the heat and humidity of the Philippines. No hot water at all in the bathroom. Not pots and pans or cooking facility in the kitchen. I was told it was 300 pesos more to cook (?????), and that I could get pots and pans from a neighbor. I did not do so. The refrigerator works well. Tiny hand towels only provided. No face or bath towels. Television is not yet functional, but without a/c in the room who wants to watch TV? The place has 2 bedrooms and beds and mattresses to sleep 8, so from that standpoint can be quite economical I presume. I assume some things will improve as the host gains more experience.

The apartment is nice. Interior design is really great. You will feel like your at home and im so comfortable. Good thing here is we're able to find a nice apartment in a very low price. The host ate cherry is very hands on in making her guest comfortable and she even offer suggestions on where we can go. She even picked us up from robinsons. Over all experience was superb i would really love to stay in this apartment if possible. What you can see in the picture is what you will see when you get in there! No filter!
