Beautiful Woodland hobbit/fairy/witch house Nestled away in our woodland is our new roundhouse. Built from natural materials, nearly all from the woodland around it and super insulated with gas hob, wood burner and running water. Come hideaway, hibernate, nestle and nuzzle.. tend fires, read, swim in our lake, pick salad and eggs from the farm... This cabin offers the perfect place to step into a different pace, to be at one with nature, to slow down and think about what matters in the world.
The roundhouse is part of our permaculture farm and campsite and is nestled away in 40 acres woodland. It has a compost toilet nearby and there is a hot shower and regular toilet available at the farm. For sleeping it has a double bed, a double sofa bed and big single bed. We will provide all bedding (but not towels). For cooking it has a double ring gas burner (and BBQ/Firepit outside), running water and a sink as well as most of the pots/pans/plates/mugs etc you could need. Its also got 12v lighting and a socket to plug in your phone (but its is truly off-grid and has no mains electricity). It is worth saying that the Roundhouse is in the woods and is about 300m from your car through the field and woods. We do allow dogs, we don't really encourage them but we do recognise that they are often part of your family. Any dogs brought with you must be well controlled at all times, cleaned up after and we also ask that you leave a £10 donation for the cleaner.
We are in a beautiful corner of the world, we are only 10 miles from M'nt Snowdon and only a mile to the beach, on the corner of the stunning Llynn Peninsula.
  • So, at first I didn’t want to even write a review. Only because I kinda want to keep this place all to my self. I 100% recommend this trip to anyone that has an outdoorsy bone in their body. I planned this trip for my wife, my 1 month old baby and my doggy only 12 hours before we left. This farm is pure magic and the energy there is unmatched, the roundhouse was perfect and has everything you could ever want (just be sure to bring some boots). The furnace was warm, having a gas hob made cooking a breeze, and there’s a sink with running water (only cold water, but no complaints there) which made doing dishes so easy, they had more than enough blankets and the scenery is unbelievable. 3 days just wasn’t enough. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a bit of nature and miss the uninterrupted sound of birds singing. If I could give them 6/5 stars I would. Much love.

Enjoying its own private hot tub and delightful panoramic views over meadowland and hills, this comfortable and very spacious holiday home, set near the owner’s home, makes an ideal base from which to explore the glorious surroundings of the Snowdonia National Park, and is just 1 mile from a lovely, sandy beach. Historic Caernarfon, 6 miles, boasts a magnificent castle. Beach front bar/bistro. Shop and pub 1 mile. Well behaved pets welcome.
Private hot tub located on a patio with table and chairs. The patio has panoramic views of Snowdonia. Steps lead down to very large enclosed & fenced lawn. Interior space is all one level and has 3 bedrooms, kitchen, very spacious open-plan lounge/ dining room, bathroom with walk-in shower & spa bath and separate W.C. There is also a study/children's games room with children's multi-games table (air-hockey, table-tennis,pool, bar-billiards etc)
The area offers opportunities for beach activities, flying, golfing, walking, climbing, sailing, scuba diving, zip wire, cycling, fishing, horse riding or exploring the areas' many castles and historical and archaeological sites. Here are five activities that make for a great day out for both adults and children here in North Wales: 1. Zip World Snowdonia Zip World offers a unique range of activities within the Snowdonia National Park, including zip lining, underground quarry exploration and trampolining deep inside a former slate mine. One of their most popular activities is the zip line known as Velocity. This zip line is the longest in Europe, and boasts the title of the fastest zip line in the world. You’ll be flying at speeds of well over 100mph, so it’s certainly not an activity for the faint hearted! For those who manage to take in the view whilst travelling along the zip line, you’ll experience rewarding panoramic views of the quarry beneath, Anglesey and even the Isle of Man on clear days.If Velocity seems a little bit too much, Bounce Below should be your next choice. You’ll be taken down by train into a former slate mine which has been converted into a trampolining paradise. Atmospherically lit and featuring six levels of trampolines as well as four slides which are the height of two double-decker buses, it’s a fantastic day out for everyone. 2.Snowdonia Railway There are a number of steam train railways which take visitors along on scenic routes around the Snowdonia National Park. One railway in particular is the Snowdon Mountain Railway, which travels up and down from the summit of Snowdon each day. Snowdon is the tallest mountain in Wales, and the Snowdon Mountain Railway gives those who aren’t able, or don’t want to climb a steep mountain the chance to witness the impressive views from the summit. The Ffestiniog Railway has been in business for over 150 years and stretches for 40 miles through the Snowdonia National Park. The railway service allows its guests to enjoy the beautiful sights from the comfort of a traditional steam train carriage. They have a range of full and half day journeys available to choose from. 3. Dragon Raiders Activity Park - Paintballing in Snowdonia The Dragon Raiders Activity Park is a 30 minute drive away from the holiday park. It offers a range of activities, from paintballing to group segway rides. If you can get together a group from the park, their paintball park is a brilliant day out.Set within 30 acres of Welsh forest, there are four specially designed paintball zones to explore. There’s also a shooting gallery to test your skills and prepare yourself for the day ahead. For those who don’t like the sound of paintballing, the Dragon Raiders Segway Adventures are a fun way to navigate through the surrounding forests. You can choose between a relaxing forest trek and an off-road rally trek, but don’t worry – you’ll receive a gliding suit to prevent you from getting too muddy! 4. Greenwood Forest Park This unique adventure park has a number of interesting attractions, including the UK’s first solar powered water ride and the world’s first people powered roller-coaster.There’s also the BareFoot Trail, which encourages you to get your socks off and safely walk through a range of different environments. Children can enjoy the Giant Jumper, as well as the Longbow Archery activity. During the summer months, donkey rides are also available at the Greenwood Forest Park. 5. Electric Mountain Tour You’ll be taken around the Dinorwig Power Station, which was build within a mountain to reduce the impact on the natural countryside of North Wales. The power station comprises of underground tunnels, spanning a total of 16km.
  • The cottage is a great family and dog friendly space to relax in and the location perfect for exploration of Snowdonia, Angelesey, and the Llyn Penninsula (you do need a car). Checkin and Checkout was really easy. We would love to stay again.

  • This property was perfect for a relaxing weekend away. Really spacious with great views. Especially amazing views of the sky at night from the hot tub. Great communication with hosts who were welcoming. Our trip was better than expected and we would definitely recommend trying it out!

  • Fabulous location for Snowdon, the coat and surrounding areas. Underfloor heating kept the property lovely and warm for a January stay. Wet coats dried overnight which was a pleased surprise after reading other reviews with concerns around drying items. Enclosed garden was excellent, lovely size and perfect for 3 small dogs and had obviously been checked for any holes in the fence. Owner next door but very private and did not disturb us. Lovely stay with lovely walks nearby. Plan to stay again.

This beautiful hand made wooden yurt is a response to what guests staying in our old yurt wanted.. something a bit more sturdy and well insulated. It has beautiful views, and everything we think we would need.. a wood burner, double ring gas burner, double bed and two single beds (all bedding provided), a sink and mains electricity and lighting pans, crockery, etc is all provided, It's a perfect hideaway.. You just need to bring a smile and a sense of adventure..
This is 'Nearly Wild Glamping'.. It's not the hotel in a field that some more expensive sites offer, but it is the lovely and comfortable space in a beautiful location that we would want to use as a base or to hibernate in. The Yurt is 100 metres from our 'nearly wild' campsite... We only have six pitches though and they are all spread out.. so it is still very lovely! We do have... Lots of beautiful fairy land style meadow for you to explore - A small lake that you can swim in (and if you don't fancy that, a little boat you can go for a paddle in) - Woodland for you to wander in (and collect firewood from) - A stream for you to paddle in - Friendly lambs for you to play with (sometimes) - Eggs that you can collect yourself - Lots of beautiful organic home produced food for you - Beautiful views of the both the sea and mountains - Salad and veg that you can pick from the garden (when available) - The beach is less than two miles away - A compost toilet with amazing views - A converted cow shed with maps and books, sofas, fridge and freezer, microwave, wi-fi etc. - A hot shower, flush toilet and washing machine etc in the farmyard. We do allow dogs, we don't really encourage them but we do recognise that they are often part of your family. Any dogs brought with you must be well controlled at all times, cleaned up after and we also ask that you leave a £10 donation for the cleaner in the tent. Have a look at our website, type in Henbant to find out more.
We are in a brilliant spot, only two miles from the beach and only a fifteen minute drive from the foot of Mt Snowdon.
  • The most perfect, isolated, bolt hole, our family loved our time in the fairy house and we will be back. Incredibly cosy with the log burner, beautiful design and stunning views. My daughter asked if we could live there forever!

    Nicola2020-03-22T00:00:00Z
  • A truly fabulous retreat! Warm and cosy in winter, secluded and quiet. A wonderfully welcoming meet and greet, and the area is stunningly beautiful and close to loads of local amenities and attractions. Perfect for little families but even better for couples wanting a secret hideaway. We will definitely be coming back! Thank you very much for a delightful escape. X

  • Brilliant place and a super cosy yurt! Expect brilliant views and cosy evenings by the fire. You can pick up eggs and veg at the farm! A lovely place for a quiet and tranquil stay in nature.

  • Go to Henbant it is like to come back in the time living in nature. Essential to keep your mind healthy. Don`t worry. You`ll have hot shower, toilet and gas stove...lol

  • This eco wooden yurt exceeded our expectations. We spent the weekend away with our two small boys (4) & (2) who loved every second. So much space to roam and treasure hunt. The yurt was cosy with plenty of firewood and spotless. Every corner was magical and we had the best time. I would recommend a thousand times and we are sure to return. Thank you so much for having us.

  • Beautiful Welsh countryside getaway, in a great location. We particularly enjoyed picking our own produce to cook and being amongst the farm animals. Thank you for a lovely stay!

    Ellie2019-09-21T00:00:00Z
  • If you're tired of the modern world and want to feel at one with nature again this is the best place to stay. You can pick your own veg, forage for nuts and berries, collect your own firewood and experience the sounds of trees blowing in the wind and the animals around. The yurts are of all levels but we stayed in the wooden one, which I could quite happily live in! The most glorious place and somewhere we are already planning our trip back to! Thank you guys, Namaste 🙏🏽

  • We had a great time (despite the storm). The house has the real wow factor and the pigs a source of entertainment for the adults and the dogs😋. The views are amazing

    Denise2020-03-02T00:00:00Z
  • Had a great time at the Summit. We were there during Storm Ciara and still had a fantastic time! The house was incredible, amazing kitchen and living space down stairs. And the main bedroom with the en suite made me super jealous! The lane to the house is a bit pot holey, but we had SUV's and trucks so it was no major trouble. We were gutted the hot tub wasn't working before we went there, but with the weather it probably worked out for the best.

    Zac2020-02-11T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful house in a beautiful setting, rural enough that theres lovely views all around but only a 5 minute drive to the nearest convenience store for anything you need. Very well equipped kitchen, lots of games and activities for a rainy day but plenty of outdoor activities within a reasonable drive too. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would come again in the future.

    Joe2020-01-07T00:00:00Z
  • Snowdon Summit View is an incredible house overlooking stunning views in a remote location where nobody but the local farm animals will disturb you and your group. The house is well equipped for bigger groups with plenty of sofa space around a huge smart TV, speakers built into the ceiling, and wall to wall windows to soak everything in even when its bad weather. Not to mention the biggest DVD collection which could have rivalled blockbuster in it's day. Kitchen wise, the biggest fridge/freezer anyone would ever need, plenty of hobs and ovens to cater for many people (or even cook separately) and a huge dining table to seat everyone at once. Enjoy big comfy beds in huge spacious and individually temperature controlled rooms. The shared bedrooms on the top floor dont have blinds so take an eye mask unless they have been updated since this review! The hosts, Emma and John are very approachable and helpful, and quick to respond. 10 minutes drive down the road is the local village with a co-op, a few takeaways and pubs. Would love to go back one day.

    Gareth2019-12-16T00:00:00Z
  • The living space is amazing, much bigger than expected. The pictures does not show how massive it is. Every bedroom is spacious. Theres outdoor hot tub and a separate games room outside which was a great addition. Also a bbq and coal is ready for use. The view from the property is absolutely breathtaking. So beautiful. You are able to see the summit, lovely in the morning and sunset.

    Vasil2019-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Set in the countryside, with floor to ceiling windows, there’s no better view to wake up to. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean. Great size bathrooms, kitchen and lounge area. Perfect for our group of 12. The kitchen has everything you will need for cooking any meals. The hosts were very responsive and helpful, especially with our food order. Highly recommend staying here and would love to come stay again!

    Tessa2019-10-24T00:00:00Z
  • Emma’s house is brilliant. Nice, big and open. With plenty of privacy and space. We will defiantly stay there again!

    Nick2019-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing home, a credit to the owners! Spectacular views, and an incredibly welcoming feeling as you arrive. The owner had left us a perfect welcome pack, including all the essentials we needed, and even some welsh cakes, which was a lovely touch. We only stayed for two nights, but we will definitely be going back. We made use of the hot tub which was blissful, and the owners left a really helpful manual with tips and suggestions. All in all, without doubt, a 10 out of 10 from us!

Situated in the heart of Snowdonia, The Lodge@Tyddyn Ucha is ideal for those who want adventure or peace and tranquility. Positioned adjacent to the main house within an acre of landscaped gardens, The Lodge has its own private secluded garden complete with hot tub! Close proximity to Caernarfon and Bangor makes our location ideal for mountain walks, bike rides or Zip World for the more courageous! Come back to relax in the hot tub or in front of the log burner.
  • The Lodge was an absolute dream. I stayed on my own, with my dog for a little RnR. The Lodge was spotlessly clean, cozy, inviting, warm and furnished beautifully. I didn’t venture out for the couple of days I was there, because everything I needed was there. There were lots of walks a short drive away should you want to and 10 minutes from central Caernarfon. Tracey couldn’t have been more helpful and lovely as a host. Nothing was too much trouble and everything was clearly laid out and explained. The hot tub, was fanatic too. I’d have spent the whole time in there if I could have! I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Can’t wait to book again in the future.

    Michael2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Tracy was a fantastic host, always very responsive to any messages and was lovely and welcoming during our stay. The lodge was a lovely place to stay we couldn’t fault it one bit and we hope to be back very soon.

    Katie2020-02-24T00:00:00Z
  • This is the second time we've stayed at the lodge. The first time was a romantic getaway the second time we brought the family so they could all experience the lodge. The children loved it, especially the hot tub

    Richard2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • We have just returned from a lovely stay at Tracy’s lodge. I could tell by the photos it was going to be lovely but it really was. We picked it for the Hot tub and location as we went to zip world and it was around a 30 min drive. The lodge was so cosy with the log burner, we ended up spending the majority of our stay there. It was rainy and windy but that didn’t dampen our stay. Drinks in the warm hot tub was a lovely end to our days. We will 100% be returning!! :)

    Natasha2020-02-18T00:00:00Z
  • Could tell from the pictures and communication it was going to be a good stay but it went above and beyond. It had every little thing you could think of, sparking clean, and as cosy as you like. We stayed during a storm and still had a lovely time. Best get re-booking!

    Stu2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely stay. Tracy is friendly and efficient, the lodge was immaculate.

The location is great too, we were able to get out and explore some of the gorgeous surroundings. Would happily go back there and would recommend it to anyone

  • Stunning converted wee pig stye. Lots of privacy and a great place to escape for the weekend. Has everything you could ever need with the dishwasher, washing machine, ironing board, oven, microwave, decent sized fridge, hot tub etc... Location wise it is great too, very close to lots of picturesque villages which are max 20 minutes away. we went to explore Pwllheli, Portmeirion and Abersoch. The host supplied some very good restaurant recommendations and we ended upas Zinc in Abersoch which we would also thoroughly recommend.

Our converted barn is situated on a working farm, a flat 15 minute walk away from the royal town of Caernarfon. Beautiful views of both the Snowdonia mountains and the Menai Straits towards Anglesey can be seen from the barn. Perfect base for enjoying the many attractions Snowdonia has to offer.
In 2010 when the price of milk plummuted from 21p a litre to just 8p, Is-Helen Farm decided to give up milking and retire the 'Beudy' (Welsh for cow shed). It has now been given a new lease of life as an AirBnB, converted using local materials and many features of the milking industry have been kept. The barn is mostly open plan other than the bathroom. Downstairs has a small kitchen, lounge and bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with an oven, hob, kettle, microwave, and toaster. A double-height lounge has 2 sofas (1 which opens to be a double sofa bed) and a 42inch TV. An oak staircase leads you up to the mezzanine bedroom where 2 single beds can either be securely clipped together to be a super king size bed, or kept separate depending on your preference.

  • A beautiful barn conversion in a wonderful spot. A short walk along the seafront to the town of Caernarfon and ideally situated to explore the wonders of North Wales and Anglesey.

  • The barn was fantastic and in a ideal location, just a 15 minute walk to the town along a path/ road next to the Menai strait, the hosts were brilliant, helpful and informative, look forward to returning very soon

  • The barn was everything and more! The location, the space, the cleanliness! Grace our host was so warm and welcoming. The barn had absolutely everything you could think of, it was stunning. We stayed with our 8 month old daughter and it was perfect. We could walk into town and get back easily, we went out all day and returned to a warm cosy barn. Grace made our stay so pleasant and the little touches didn’t go unnoticed, flowers, welsh cakes & milk!! The beds were comfortable & the place was spotless. Thanks so much. We will return in the future!

This Beautiful unique 'Beach front' property is warm and inviting with a cosy interior and log burner. The views from all the windows are to die for. This is a rare Gem of a property which has uninterrupted views of the Irish sea which is just metre's from the cabin at high tide. We often see seals, dolphins & herons. With private steps down to the beach and use of our slipway it is ideal for water sports bird watching, walking, kayaking, swimming ,surfing.Just a few miles to Snowdon & Caernarfon
Location Location Location That is what 'The Beach house' is all about. To sit and watch the sea wash away your stress is so relaxing. Enjoy sunsets with a glass of wine on the private wrap around decking area overlooking the sea and the island of Anglesey . Ideal for water sports as we own the slipway and the chalet has private steps down to the beach. Perfect area for surfing ! the photos in this listing of surfers right in front of the house were taken in Oct & Nov 2018 Bring your surfboard kayak or boat ? **Please note the price is for 4 guests In two double bedroom The property also has a double sofa bed for guests 5-6 this is a extra cost of £35per night We also now have listed a newly renovated 3 bed house next door to the beach house making it possible to accommodate 2 families or up to 8-9 guests . Each day the beach changes with its birdlife and local seals you will find it hard to leave. At the sea front of the property , all you can see is open sea , looking to the right you can see the coast of Anglesey with its flashing lighthouses at Holyhead and to the left the beautiful Lynn Peninsula . Then behind the chalet there are views of Mount Snowdon and beyond. Its the perfect location with even more perfect views. The Beach house even attracts the famous! Recently staying here mike and Jules Peters from The welsh rock band The Alarm said ‘after traveling the world for years always looking to stay near the beach this is now their favourite place !’ Wow what a compliment even more so they booked to come back and Jules calls it her new ‘happy place ‘ .
'The Beach house' is just one of 4 houses in this prime sea front location. One of the two we own . The beach house and the beach escape can be hired together for up to 8 guests or separate . Both have their own private facilities balcony and decking areas . The only other 2 houses along this coast are private holiday homes not often used so usually empty . The only parking in this area is to each house . So as there is no common parking in the area we only see the odd walker from the small village or from West point park ( private holiday lodge owners) although this is closed in winter, so the beach and surrounding area is very quiet and peaceful. Yet just a few miles either way on the main road you find Caernarfon and Pwllheli with a Tesco Morrisons and Asda The local village Penygroes is just 5 minutes away and has a co op supermarket and convenience store Along with a Chinese ,Indian ,kebab and chip shop
  • A fantastic place in a great location. This really is a hidden gem, very clean, very cosy and felt like a home away from home. Our host’s communication was great throughout. Will definitely be coming back again!

    Matthew2020-03-12T00:00:00Z
  • The Beach House where we stayed was absolutely lovely, you get a great warm feeling as soon as you open the front door. Storm Ciara was unfortunate Saturday daytime/night but that didn’t get us down about the weekend stay. It was lovely to have a visit from Joules ‘the cat’ too..she got spoilt with lots of fuss and treats. I will definitely be coming back again one day

    Jane2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful weekend we've had!! The location, property, cosiness, blew us away and we were so lucky to see blue sky and snow capped mountains. Having been ill for a few weeks it was the perfect place to recuperate and have some sea air. I will never forget being sat in front of the woodburner looking out to sea, feel like a new woman!! Thank you so much Victoria.

    Gill2020-01-20T00:00:00Z
  • The pictures do not do the view justice. We loved spending new year here. Loved the log burner and the bed was really comfortable. Going to book again for later in the year. Highly recommended and Victoria is great to deal with. Thank you 👍

  • This place is absolutely gorgeous, you won’t be disappointed! *Right* on the water, and really very spacious. Lovely cat that pops in too. Thanks!

    Antonia2019-12-22T00:00:00Z
  • Great little place, SO close to the sea. Just as it looks in the photos. Quaint, simply equipped house which had all we need. Location makes this place an amazing place in the winter, we saw such stormy seas. Walks on the beach cleared the cob webs away. Warm and cosy with the log fire going in the evenings. Would love to return.

    Adrian2019-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • Don't do what we did and book the place to sightsee around the area. Book the place and stay in it. It's perfect.

    Helen2019-11-07T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time staying at The Beach House. The location is stunning with views over the sea. We had a mix of rainy, stormy and sunny weather and the house worked well in all conditions.

  • A cozy, beach-side bungalow. Felt safe and warm all throughout the storm that raged outside. When the rain eased we enjoyed walking on the beach, following the circular walks suggested, and driving along the Llyn Peninsular.

  • My wife and I had a wonderful time at the Beach Escape. We stayed in January and it was nice and cosy. Central heating and underfloor heating. No problems with wifi. Plenty of space. Quality, stylish furnishings and everything you would need to cook your own meals. Check-in was a doddle and Victoria did everything possible to make our stay fantastic.

    Craig2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely seaside home, the location is perfect for those of you who loves a view, and what a view it has! Cosy home away from home even in the winter!

  • Well they say Location, Location, Location, and this property certainly has that. The pictures do not do justice to view from two of the three bedrooms and well as the living area. Visited with two 90+ year olds. While they are a couple of steps down to the door into the property and a couple of steps into the bathroom they managed these without issues. Other than that no steps. Convenient for many of the nearby attractions, and despite been November, and many places closed for the season, we never struggled for places to visit No hesitation in recommending.

Very stylish and excellent amenities. Good location - we were able to explore areas around Caernarfron, Abersoch and Pwllheli. Would definitely need a car though. Thank you!

  • We had a really lovely time in Wales. The accommodation was so welcoming and well equipped and this added to our holiday. Our party consisted of six adults aged from 19 to 52 and everybody really liked the accommodation and the communal living and the open plan layout. Initially we thought it as a little too remote, but after a day we settled in and found our way around and loved the location. Highlights of our break were walking Snowdon and zip world which are only half an hour away. Also an evening walk on the beach to watch the sunset was really nice and this was only five minutes walk away. Thank you Gwenan, hopefully we will return at some point.

Beautiful hidden spot between the Mountains and the Sea on our organic small farm. Enjoy a break in the great outdoors, experience camping fire and clear starlit skies, whilst having a comfy bed, a cooking area and a wood burning stove to cosy round if it gets cold. All on our sustainable ecological farm which has lakes, woodlands and animals to find and explore.
This is 'Nearly Wild Glamping' We don't have a fancy toilet block, a new kitchen for you to use, nor even a toilet right by the tent... It's not the hotel in a field that some more expensive sites offer, but it is the lovely and comfortable space in a beautiful location that we would want to use as a base or to hibernate in. The Yurt is 150 metres from our 'nearly wild' campsite... We only have six pitches though and they are all spread out.. so it is still very lovely! The tent comes with bedding for the double bed and two single futon beds, as well as woodburner, gas stove, pots and pans, cups etc.. We do have... Lots of beautiful fairy land style meadow for you to explore - A small lake that you can swim in (and if you don't fancy that, a little boat you can go for a paddle in) - Woodland for you to wander in (and collect firewood from) - A stream for you to paddle in - Woodland hammocks for you to swing in - Friendly lambs for you to play with (sometimes) - Eggs that you can collect yourself - Home produced Bacon, Sausages and lamb (when available) - Beautiful views of the both the sea and mountains - Salad and veg that you can pick from the garden (when available, we had a baby in April so we are a bit behind on growing this year) - The beach is less than two miles away - A compost toilet with amazing views - A converted cow shed with maps and books, sofas, fridge and freezer, microwave, wi-fi etc. - A shower, flush toilet and washing machine in the farmyard (about 100m away) We do allow dogs, we don't really encourage them but we do recognise that they are often part of your family. Any dogs brought with you must be well controlled at all times, cleaned up after and we also ask that you leave a £10 donation for the cleaner. Have a look at our website, type in Henbant to find out more.
We are in a brilliant spot, only two miles from the beach and only a fifteen min drive from the foot of Mt Snowdon.
  • I would recommend this yurt to anyone, it is so comfortable and cozy with everything you need to feel at home and have a great outdoor experience. The term is lovely, as are Jenny and Matt!

  • We spent two nights in the yurt for a brief break. The location is fantastic, the yurt is really warm and comfortable with a fire going in the stove. The farm is a short walk away with veg to pick and a great little shop for chocolate, coffee and food from the freezer. The whole area is lovely, beautiful countryside and fantastic views of the coast This is my second visit this year, we want to visit again next year! 😁

  • Exceeded expectations. Great hospitality and an interesting well run place!

    Oli2019-09-24T00:00:00Z
  • Really lovely space with loads to do on the farm. Great farm shop, pick your own veg, campers barn with boardgames. This place had everything, including really friendly pigs.

    Seb2019-09-18T00:00:00Z
  • Had the most amazing stay in the yurt! The farm and woodlands was lovely! Really exceeded our expectations. Will be recommending our friends and family :)

  • Great space ton relax, unwind and enjoy the surrounding countryside. We love North Wales and this is the ideal spot to explore from.

    Amanda2019-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • A true rural idyll

    Tasmine2019-08-21T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed in the yurt for 3 nights. It was a delight! The yurt is in a lovely spot amongst the foliage in the orchard with stunning views all around and a short walk to the toilet/shower or car park. The yurt itself was charming, very comfortable. The log burning fire kept us cosy in rain and wind during our stay. We loved seeing the animals around the farm with the two friendly pigs being a particular hit with our 3 year old! A lovely, honest glamping experience in a beautiful part of the world. We hope to return to try one of the other accommodations sometime.

You're assured a warm welcome to this beautiful cottage! Stunning location bordering Snowdonia (10 minute walk to Park Boundary). On a clear day Snowdon herself is in full view. Close to castles, Llyn Peninsula, much beautiful coastline, a stone's throw from Anglesey and more! Cosy single downstairs room for solo travellers, one of three rooms here, where I accommodate up to 5 people. N.B. downstairs bathroom! Be pampered, have a restorative break, explore this glorious area in North Wales!
Recently renovated, Llys Ifor has all modern comforts whilst retaining its welsh character. The renovation has been done sensitively to keep the feel of a cottage, and some features have been retained, like a small inglenook fireplace. I am an experienced host who loves having people to stay. My job here is to make people feel made welcome and comfortable. I am creating a wild life haven and pond here.
A rural area, full of outstanding beauty and with coast line, sea, hills, mountains, rivers and nature in abundance. The village is small and friendly, and has some bus services but they are limited, so planning is the order of the day!
  • Phenomenal and inspiring, the best Airbnb I've stayed in, and I'm not overstating anything. June is very kind and truly cares to make you feel welcome, rather than merely providing a room. Her cooking was great, and it's a great value in a great location near Snowdon and the coast.

    Sean2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • June is a most interesting and conscientious host who does her best to make you feel at home. The cottage is beautifully and artistically restored Highly recommended

  • A recently renovated property, June has spent a lot of time energy and money to offer this high standard accomodation. I arranged to stay at late notice for one night and June accepted my stay. I stayed in a room with a single bed just off the kitchen...other rooms and a cottage with a hot tub is also available. Tv and wifi work well. The property is in a quiet village of Nebo great views , quiet and clean, approx 25min drive from Porthmadog and Llanberis. I was offered a evening meal but as id already eaten i declined. Continental Breakfast was fab, soda bread, yoghurt, local cake etc a nice change to a cooked breakfast. Ideal for walks, but a car is necessary, although the village has a local bus service. The underfloor heating is great for these cold nights, the only criticism i have is ladys wearing high heeled shoes on a marble/stone floor can be a little off putting...but didnt prevent me from sleeping.! Thank you June for letting me stay Mark

A Beautiful, home made and cosy geo-dome. On our conservation farm, with woodlands, wildflower meadows, lakes and streams. The dome has a beautiful double bed, two single beds, a wood burning stove, and outdoor kitchen, picnic bench and fire pit... There are fresh eggs you can collect in the morning, hammocks in a fairy woodland glade. We want you feel like you are in a Swallows and Amazons adventure, a place where life is a little bit slower. The farm also has very friendly sheep and pigs
This is 'Nearly Wild Glamping' We don't have a fancy toilet block (well we do actually now), a new kitchen for you to use, nor even a toilet right by the tent... It's not the hotel in a field that some more expensive sites offer, but it is the lovely and comfortable space in a beautiful location that we would want to use as a base or to hibernate in. The Dome is 150 metres from our 'nearly wild' campsite... We only have six pitches though and they are all spread out.. so it is still very lovely! The tent comes with bedding for the double bed and two single futon beds, as well as stove, pots and pans, cups etc.. We do allow dogs, we don't really encourage them but we do recognise that they are often part of your family. Any dogs brought with you must be well controlled at all times, cleaned up after and we also ask that you leave a £10 donation for the cleaner in the tent. We do have... Lots of beautiful fairy land style meadow for you to explore - A small lake that you can swim in (and if you don't fancy that, a little boat you can go for a paddle in) - Woodland for you to wander in (and collect firewood from) - A stream for you to paddle in - Woodland hammocks for you to swing in - Friendly lambs for you to play with (sometimes) - Eggs that you can collect yourself - Home produced Bacon, Sausages and lamb (when available) - Beautiful views of the both the sea and mountains - Salad and veg that you can pick from the garden - The beach is less than two miles away - A compost toilet with amazing views - A converted cow shed with maps and books, sofas, fridge and freezer, microwave, wi-fi etc. - A shower, flush toilet and washing machine in the farmyard (about 100m away) Have a look at our website, type in Henbant to find out more.
  • Cosy space which heated up in no time with the log burner. All of the essentials were provided which is ace and Matt was very welcoming. We saw the most amazing stars and the view is beautiful. Very peaceful, lots of space and wonderful scenery. Rather rural and a great place to relax and get off the grid to relax and unwind.

    Katie2019-11-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had an amazing weekend here. The geo dome was really cosy and secluded, with views of the sea and the mountains. Perfect for a peaceful stay in the countryside

    Danni2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • We had a very nice experience. The yurt was very cosy and spacious inside, also it had a very nice kitchen and outside place for cooking and eating. Also, the farm was very nice, we could see chickens, pigs and collect our own vegetables!

    Pilar2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Matt’s place is a great venue to disconnect from modern life and reconnect with nature. We stayed for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The dome over looks the sea and has the most amazing starry night views. This experience is nearly wild camping.

    Alex And Charlie2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • We loved the week we just spent at Henbant, if we could move in, we would! We felt so welcome and free to explore. The showers were hot and clean and the communal space was great, so nice to be able to make a quick cuppa. The shop was really useful stocking a few basics and yummy extras, and being able to buy farm produce was perfect and gave us an opportunity with our boys to talk about how things are produced. The Geo dome had everything, we are used to camping and taking everything with us, so to travel without the kitchen sink felt like luxury to us. This is of course nearly wild glamping, with a few thoughtful touches. I think if you don’t love every minute camping/glamping may not be for you, as Henbant is beautiful and if we’re ever in this area of Wales again, we’ll be back. Thanks so much, we are all richer for the experience.

    Andrea2019-08-24T00:00:00Z
  • Gorgeous peaceful haven, cosy & warm with log burner & fairy lights. We loved it as a family with 12 yr old, quality family time creating special memories, would definitely book geodome again.

    Melissa2019-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Came as a group of three - my husband,.best friend and I and was blown away by the size of the geodome. The views were absolutely amazing - it was like the entire of Wales was our back garden! We had a very cloudy start and it was still beautiful. Even more stunning in the sun. everyone was so polite and helpful! We loved getting to see the animals and fresh produce! Especially petting the pigs and cows and helping with runaway chickens! The amount of things/ tools provided for cooking was amazing! We overpacked - next time we will just bring a rucksack each! Sausages and eggs were so tasty! We absolutely love them. Loved the pay/honesty style - think this needs advertising more on the AirB+B site though - we over shopped at supermarket as we worried we would not be in time for the shop on site 'shop' as we had not realised the shop would always be open - next time we will live entirely on the sausages and not shop beforehand. Other things that could be sold - citronella candles. Only criticism would be the futon mattresses? They were really flat so weren't comfy, but that was just a tiny insignificant detail compared to the amazing henbant! We put two together and used a sleeping bag we fetched. Would have been worse if 4 people were sharing as this wouldn't have been possible. Lighting in small shower room could maybe better - be prepared for a rather invigoratingly cold shower - certainly wakes you up! Overall we loved Henbant and cannot wait to return!!

    Sarah-Louise2019-07-23T00:00:00Z
  • The Geodome at Henbant Farm was a great little find, and perfect for our young family. The kids (aged 1 and 4) had an amazing time in the dome and exploring the woodland and farm. The accommodation was clean and tidy, and much more spacious on the inside than it looked from the outside. The little kitchen was a nice touch and well equipped. We were left to get on with being a family, and rarely saw anyone else despite it being quite busy judging by the car park! Definitely recommend this as a peaceful getaway in a stunning location.

Ty Capel is a beautifully restored 18th century house nestled in the village of Talysarn, it has a homely feel combined with all modern comforts and is ideal for exploring all North Wales and snowdonia national park in on the doorstep.
The house has 3 bedrooms, large lounge, dining room and kitchen. Bed linen is not routinely provided, we do have a supplier and price if required. There is a very large secure garden at the rear with a very patio and large pagoda, there are lovely views out over the mountains and Nantlle ridge.
The village is a lovely, friendly quiet area ideal for accessing all of snowdonia and its many attractions. There is also a vin yard in the village within a short walk that serves great local food, teas and cakes etc.
  • A really quaint cottage, which was surprisingly roomy and comfortable. The location in a quiet village suited us perfectly with stunning views towards the Nantille range to wake up to. The cottage would suit a family or group of friends, especially if the weather allows you to make the most of the outside space. The 3rd bedroom is seperately located from the other 2, and is accessed via an internal spiral staircase which would not suit small children or those with mobility issues. We really enjoyed our stay, and found our hosts to be very helpful and communicative. Thoroughly recommended.

  • Andrew's home is a great place to stay and a good locality to explore the surrounding area. It has a well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and sofas. The garden area is still being designed in some areas but will be stunning when completed. Andrew is a great host and answers all questions honestly and promptly. We would definitely recommend this beautiful home from home to active families but advise that it is not suitable for people with mobility issues due to the type of access available. We'd love to go back and visit again.

Cosy terraced house just completely refurbished and eco-friendly, in a quiet cul de sac in the centre of the historic Royal Town of Caernarfon. 300 yards from the Castle and square, 400 yards from the shoreline and plenty of good pubs and eateries. Perfect for exploring Snowdonia. 20 minutes from Zipworld and four of the Snowdon footpaths. Very well equipped. Private rear paved courtyard/garden with seating and lots of sun. A comfy king size bed and good wifi - what more could you want?!
A residents parking permit will be provided. New restrictions mean that there is always a space near to the house. We have tried to ensure that everything is provided for you to have a perfect stay in Caernarfon - a five star home from home. We have enjoyed stellar reviews for our first Airbnb home - Trigfa - in nearby Waunfawr and hope to achieve the same with Tŷ Ni. We are dog owners ourselves and welcome well behaved dogs but ask that they are never left at the house unaccompanied. There is a great park for exercising just five minutes walk away past the Castle as well as some of the most exhilarating walking in the UK just a very short drive or bus ride away. Many pubs in the area are dog-friendly. We try to be as sustainable and green as possible. All the cleaning products used are eco-friendly and bottles are re-filled at our local-shop plastic free eco-shop in the Castle Square. All your bedding and towels will have been washed in Ecover products and air dried either on the line at our home in the hills or over our carbon-neutral woodburner.
Caernarfon Castle and castle walls is a World Heritage Site set on the Menai Straits. It makes an ideal base for all sorts of adventures available in Snowdonia and beyond.
  • Brilliant location, very clean and comfortable, an ideal base for the town and Snowdonia.

  • A great location to get out and about including Snowdon & Devil’s Kitchen. A small space but only 2 of us staying so enough space for us! Had all the pots and pans needed and was sparkling clean all over. Quick responses from host who was accommodating to our needs. Excellent value for money!

    Meghan2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely stay in Caernarfon : a welcoming home close to the city center and the castle ! Marianne made sure everything was perfect for us.

    Diana Elena2020-02-14T00:00:00Z
  • We stayed at Marianne’s for a short break this weekend as a base for a day in the mountains. Up to and during our stay Marianne was really helpful and very quick to respond to any questions or enquires, not that we had many but Marianne was an excellent host. The space is cosy and perfect for a couple or individuals as a base. The house was spotlessly clean and looked brand new throughout. We found the area very quiet and peaceful. The main historic town, castle, square and harbour are all no more than 15 minutes walk away at most, the square and it’s shops are 5 mins away with a small supermarket, bigger supermarkets are close by in the town, Pen-y-Pass and all Snowdon’s footpath starts are within 30 minutes drive as is the Ogwen valley. All in all a nice location with an really nice helpful host and a lovely cosy house in easy reach of the areas attractions.

A get away in a rural area on the edge of the Snowden Nation Park. Completely off the beaten track. The house is situated approximately nine miles south of Caernarfon, in the village of Tai'n Lon standing close by the landmark 13th century St Beunos Church near the village of Clynnog Fawr. The immediate area is designated as one of outstanding natural beauty, with abudent wildlife, breathtaking mountain views dropping away to sandy beaches and rocky coves. You will enjoy views of the Eifl Mountains (the Rivals), Caernarfon Bay, the foothills of Snowdonia and, to the north, Ynys Mon (the Isle of Anglesey). Your home is ideally situated for exploring the magic of North Wales' historic castles, sites of ancient mystery and legendary beaches, coves and the spectacular scenery of the Llyn Peninsula and Anglesey, with endless opportunities for hiking and walking, myriad challenging golf courses and, of course, the wonders of Snowdonia. A great base from which to explore this part of North Wales. Caernarfon, Criccieth and Penrhyn Castles are all within 30 minutes, steeped in Celtic history and heritage and a stronghold of the Welsh language. The island of Anglesey is within easy reach (25 miles) and well worth a visit. Beaumeris being one of my favourite stops for ice cream, fish and chips and stunning scenery! A place to relax and enjoy the countryside and beautiful nearby beaches of Dinas Dinlle and Nefyn. We offer a warm house with oil central heating and gas fire. There is a spacious, well eqipped kitchen, with washing machine; cooker; microwave: fridge/freezer. The living room has a leather three seater and a two seater setee. In addition, the light and airy conservatry, looking out onto the welsh hills, has 2 x two seater bamboo seatees. There are 3 bedrooms, one with a kingsize bed the other two have single beds. The bathroom has a bath and electric shower. The garden is gated and ideal for children. Situated in a small quiet village, with the local shop about 2 miles away, take aways about 5 miles, so bring a few bits with you. Public transport is about 2 miles on the a499. Both families with children, couples or groups have enjoyed staying with us. Pwllheli is probably the nearest market town, 10 miles away. A busy market town (Wednesdays) with art galleries and popular sailing and watersports centre. See the wildlife, seabirds and dolphins - on costal cruises. An excellent leisure centre to keep the kids entertained, along with activity-packed Glasfyn Parc. From the front door you can take one of the footpaths, or you coud take the Loneifion cycle track, along the disused railway line to Caerarfon. We hope to here from you soon.

PLEASE NOTE: If you were just booking the 1 room, to give you total privacy, we do not book the second room out to any third party, thereby allowing you the use of the whole floor exclusively (less the second bedroom).
Bryn Eisteddfod is located within easy walking distance of the town. It is a town house so please expect the normal noise of town life plus seagulls! Please note that the house is situated on a road and can start to be busy between 07:00 - 19:00. To make finding us easy- take a look at the last two photos; the sat nav doesn't always pinpoint the correct house. • Michael made us feel very welcome, we arrived later than planned after a 6 hour traffic ridden drive from Berkshire and he greated me and my family at the door with a smile. He even offered to cook us some dinner! We were taken to the top floor of the house where there was a bedroom, landing area with tea and coffee making facilities, living room with a TV and a lovely bathroom. Everything was spotless and tastefully decorated. Breakfast was supplied in the morning there was fruit, cereal, cheese, pastries and yogurts and Michael was on hand for teas and coffee's. The only thing we would say the place could do with was some kind of bolt lock on the bedroom door. We would fully recommend staying here, Michael is a superb host who would do anything for you and has a beautiful home!

    Joe2019-10-27T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing!!! Everything was perfect. Michael and Iona are the loveliest hosts and have the most amazing house. We had the upstairs to ourselves and it was just lovely. Exactly as you see on the pictures. The bath was probably the highlight after an 8 hour hike in the rain. The breakfast was yummy and plentiful! We have stayed in plenty of vacation rentals and this must be the best one!! Thanks for having us!

    Laura2019-10-20T00:00:00Z
  • I would recommend a visit here as I wanted to see the Caenarfon castle and this was a good setting. the fact that you get the top floor to yourself makes the stay very pleasant.

  • Michael and Iona were extremely welcoming and did all they could to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The accommodation consisted of a separate bedroom with a comfortable bed, a modern bathroom with a powerful shower, a cosy lounge with modern TV and a great view of Caernarfon Castle. We appreciated the generous breakfast with a selection of cereals, fruits and pastries as well as the container filled with snacks to enjoy at our leisure. We would highly recommend Michael and Iona's place.

    Robin2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Michael and Iona are extraordinary hosts! The guest rooms where really spacious, clean and furnished and decorated with lots of love. We were provided with everything we needed and more. Michael picked us up from the train station, brought us back there and even drove us to the riding stables. They even lent us their raincoats as we weren't really prepared for the welsh weather. The breakfast was very delicious with lots of options! The location is also great for exploring the Snowdonia National Park and Caernarfon Castle is just around the corner. We would definitely recommend Michael and Iona's place!

Stay warm and cosy inside a renovated stone cottage by adding logs to a wood-burning stove. Snuggle up with a book or board game. Discover a romantic bedroom under the exposed beams of a peaked roof, then ramble in open countryside after breakfast.
The cottage is close to lovely beaches, Criccieth Castle, cafes, and restaurants. Visit Snowdonia National Park, Portmeirion, and take a steam train to see heart-stopping scenery. Go cycling, golfing, and clay pigeon shooting in this part of Wales.
  • A beautiful, warm and cosy place to stay for a couple. Good place to use as a base for exploring what the LLyn Peninsula has to offer. The host was very welcoming. Would recommend.

  • This is the perfect place to relax and unwind. It provided us with everything we needed to forget about the stresses of day to day life and recharge and Maureen made us feel very welcome.

    Philip2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • From the get go, Maureen was a great Host. Communication between us was spot on. She provided clear instructions how to get to the cottage due to it being located in the middle of nowhere. Upon arrival, Maureen greeted us and made us feel very welcome; she even lit the fire for us! The cottage itself is a true countryside gem with beautiful surroundings, it was very clean, very cosy and had everything that we needed for our short stay.

  • The ideal weekend getaway. The best for total relaxation

    Diane2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • Wow. Just wow. This place is a blessing and we will be returning. Located down a remote country lane, surrounded by Welsh fields, this tiny cottage has everything you need for a relaxing stay. I immediately felt some stress rise off my shoulders when I stepped inside, I am not kidding. External ambience: private, super quiet, lovely dark nights (can see stars), views of fields. There is a bird feeder right outside the property so we spent happy hours observing all the various birds including an impressive pheasant and his two lady friends. Parking right next to property so easy to load. Hosts: just lovely. Both came out to greet us, so friendly and kind. But otherwise, very respectful of our privacy. We didn't see them at all during the stay (but knew exactly where they were if we needed them) so felt very secluded. Amenities: kitchen well stocked with all the necessary utensils and cooking equipment, easy to cook in this kitchen. Maureen left out biscuits and eggs, and a small jug of milk, for our arrival. Soaps. Towels lovely. Internal ambience: modern country decor, lovely wood stove which kept the place super warm, snug, cosy, clean (my neat-freak was very content). Shower (no bath) with an eco-electric shower unit. Not a spot of mould in the bathroom, which shows how well-cared-for this place is. All in all, top marks.

  • Great cottage to escape for some quiet and relaxation! Great location - with access to both the Llyn peninsula coast and beaches as well as the beautiful Snowdonia. Maureen was a great host and we had a lovely time.

    Catherine2020-01-01T00:00:00Z
  • The coach house was really cozy and perfect for 2 persons. It's a very snug and comfortable little house, all amenities are available. The fireplace is amazing and everything is there for a relaxed getaway. Maureen is lovely and was very relaxed in communicating and while we stayed over we felt very welcome.

  • We loved our stay in John and Susan's beautiful and very well furnished cottage. So many thoughtful touches including milk, tea and coffee, biscuits and bottled water, and loads of fascinating books to read by the wood burner. . Even though the weather was very wet and windy, we had lovely beach walks locally and on Anglesey and drives through dramatic Snowdonia. Highly recommended.

    Beth2020-03-01T00:00:00Z
  • I honestly can't express in a short review how fabulous this place is. First of all the location is incredible being sandwiched between mountains and the sea both of which you can see from the windows when you look out. It's a remote peaceful setting but yet only 10 mins from local shops still and 5 mins from petrol station. Cottage itself is super cosy, warm with great facilities including a cooker, oven, microwave, coffee machine and also a log burner which is really easy to use and wood provided. John and Susan are fantastic hosts and are well organised, considerate and there to help with anything you could need. I will just finish by saying to book this place you definitely won't regret it!

    Christopher2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • A truly lovely escape from it all. Bryn Goleu had everything we needed for a comfortable 4 night stay! The log fire is a great addition. Will definitely be coming back!

A recently refurbished property in the picturesque Nantlle Valley, the mountains of Snowdonia provide a stunning backdrop to your stay. Located between the mountains and the sea it's barely a 15 minutes drive to Mount Snowdon and the beach. Perfect for visiting the main tourist attractions or discovering the local hidden gems. Come stay at the heart of the Welsh Community, in the land of the myths and legends of King Arthur and the Mabinogi!
A recently refurbished property located on a quiet street with ample parking room. The wood burner keeps the living room cosy in the evenings, while the back yard and garden provides a safe place for play and enjoying the sunshine outside.
Penygroes is the main village in the Nantlle Valley. (Dyffryn Nantlle). A close knit Welsh community nestled in a stunningly beautiful landscape. All around are historical reminders of the slate quarries that allowed the local communities to blosom. There's a fantastic little local supermarket, a couple of newsagents, the village bakery, Post Office, Leisure Centre & Gym. There are food outlets including Chinese, Indian and good old traditional Fish & Chips, and you can quench your thirst at the 'Pant Du' Vineyard or the local pub. All within a 5 minute walk of the property!! Penygroes is a great central location, whether you need a base to tour the tourist hotspots of Snowdonia (Eryri) & the Llyn Peninsula (Pen Llyn) or a quiet retreat to explore the local area by bike and foot.
  • Deio's place is great - not too far a drive to Snowdon & walking spots, free parking on the road, spacious, amenities including a kitchen with all equipment you want, big TV & DVD player, good WiFi, quiet neighbours, great shower & bath, good heating for warming up/drying off clothes after a walk! The shops & take aways are a few mins walk away, with plenty of pubs within 15mins' drive. Deio was friendly & gave us helpful local info too. It worked for me and my partner and would work for a family too. Would come back!

  • Lovely place, perfect location for a climb up Snowdon, about 30min drive to penny cafe (start of most routes). Brilliant host, really responsive and flexible. Brilliant value for money. Would recommend

    Christopher2019-09-15T00:00:00Z
  • Very spacious, good amenities! We booked Deio’s place because of the location. We were going to a friend’s birthday party at Pant Du, the vineyard on the outskirts of Penygroes. Took less than 10 minutes to walk there from the house! It is also close to a good cafe and the bus stop to Caernarfon which we took as day trip. Our friends pointed out some amazing nearby walking spots as well so we need to come back!

    Jennifer2019-09-08T00:00:00Z
  • Quite location, very clean and neat place.

    Csaba2019-07-07T00:00:00Z

  • What a lovely find. Andy was very happy with a non contact approach to your stay as the the studio is quite remote you can keep yourself to yourself and have as little or as much interaction as possible. The studio is lovely, well equipped and ideal for a nice stay. Lovely area. Welcoming host, understanding of the social distancing and non contact nature in these terrible times. Ideal for all local attractions. A real delight.

  • “The Dog” cottage was absolutely perfect. From the quaint wooden beams to warming underfloor heating, everything is covered for a cosy stay in Wales. We also loved the spa. We both had full body massages and used the hot tub, which despite the horrible weather, was fantastic! We would highly recommend this beautiful cottage to anyone. The hosts were so attentive and responded so quickly to any of our needs. We also loved Jax! Gorgeous dog!

  • We stayed at the Dog House cottage and loved every minute of it! Immaculately kept with exceptionally welcoming hosts, we spent our time in the hot tub, exploring the huge range of castles in North Wales or curled up in front of the fire place. The Cottage itself is cozy yet spacious, easy to warm up with the log fire place and with a comfortable bedroom with en-suite modern bathroom. It is a short walk over to the hot tub but there are changing rooms in the spa if you don’t fancy doing the walk in swim wear. Jax the dog is very friendly and roams the farm looking for friends! We can recommend it enough and look forward to staying again.
