JoAnn is an amazing host! She is mindful and strikes a perfect balance between being available and allowing space. It is not easy to share a home with someone, but JoAnn does it with kind graciousness! Because the room is on the third floor, there are stairs-but the plus side is it is extremely quiet AND you get daily exercise 😊! I enjoyed being able to walk anywhere-to the park, the gardens, to church, for coffee or a bite. As a single woman I felt completely safe. I highly recommend JoAnn’s place!

JoAnn was amazing! Parking is just right in front of the house, location is easy to assess to many good restaurants, the famous Botanic garden, museums, highways, etc. Making life so much easier and really pleasant as I am new to St. Louis for my internship!

The room is perfect if you need a space to stay near the city. Short drives to many different locations and the host is very helpful with directions and suggestions. The amenities are great, and you have a good amount of dedicated space in the kitchen for any supplies you might need. A word of warning though, be ready to traverse two floors of stairs often!

JoAnn was the best host I ever lived with. I stayed at her place for almost 3 months. Her place is well organized and clean. She will fix any issue by her self as quickly and efficiently quicker than you expect. She will try her best to make your stay as pleasure as possible.

Very affordable. Location is safe and secure in a nice neighborhood with mature trees. I arrived late in the evening and while driving in the neighborhood 6 deer were eating shrubs and having a gathering in 2 houses.

Astrid went above and beyond during my stay here. I can’t recommend her enough. In fact I’m staying at another of her properties later in my stay.

Awesome AirBnb! The house and my room were very comfortable and the place was spotless. The keypads allowed me to be able to leave and return without disturbing anyone. Plus, the location was in a great neighborhood and it was only about 20 minutes to get to my work downtown. Hosts are very communicative and will quickly take care of any issues. I highly recommend staying here!

I love the location, I had no problem getting into the city for business. The house is clean, safe and a very quiet neighborhood. My host was a simple text away and always responded quickly. The snacks and drinks were just an extra perk... amazing stay..!!!

Best stay

This is such a great place to stay if you’re looking to sightsee St. Louis or just needing to stay in Belleville. The house was very secure, clean, and welcoming. The little personal touches and complimentary products were amazing. It’s an older house so the ceilings are a little low and the shower is a little small, but it’s still spacious. If I come back to this area I would definitely stay here again

My experience here is pleasant every time, and it is quickly becoming a favorite place to stay. I love the openness, the cleanliness. It’s delightful to come in to the classical music softly playing on the television, and so peaceful. Matthew always makes me feel welcome.

Was a beautiful stay here at the rainbow zoo. Lots of pets, which was wonderful but be warned if you are an allergy sufferer. Beautiful people and offered coffee, meals, snacks, and their home openly to us. Felt comfterable and welcome. Will definitely remember them if ever in the area again! Was a 5 star stay!

Where do I even start? Staying with Ms.Janie was like staying with my aunt. She has one of kindest hearts out of everyone I’ve ever met. Ms.Janie went above and beyond to make my trip super comfortable. She welcomed me to have anything in her fridge, cooked me breakfast, AND let me have a late check out! Ms.Janie is absolutely one of the most amazing people I’ve met. Thank you for being you and being so genuine. Not to mention, she got home late the day I came in and she still woke up a bit earlier to make me breakfast before she left. Everyone needs a Ms.Janie in their life. She is so kind hearted, hard working, and hospitable. I wish we could’ve talked more, I can see previous reviews of people saying they’d have interesting conversations with her. I would definitely come back, just to treat Ms.Janie out for the amazing experience she gave me. 100/10 on service. STAY HERE AND LOOK NO FUTHER!!

Janie is the nicest person I’ve ever met. She’s so hospitable! She made an amazing breakfast for me, told me some stories about her life and even drove me to downtown. I was so glad to meet her

I needed a place to stay never having been through this part of the Midwest. Janie picked me up at the airport and dropped me off at my interstate bus terminal. Janie supplies bottled water and OJ and a pleasant, innovative breakfast (unlike most hosts I've had). Janie is quite good for conversation, is very no-nonsense communication-wise, has stories to tell, and she's just a super duper host!

Was a cute little place to stay after a day at the wineries! Comfy beds, plenty of room, and cute little shops all around. There’s a cafe next door & a coffee shop/cafe just a bit down the street.

Great place to base your exploration of Sainte Genevieve. Right on Main Street. Comfortable bed and living space. All you need for easy meals in and plenty of nearby restaurants for meals out.

Unique and cleanliness is top on my list and we loved Norah’s nest. Beds were comfortable and so many welcoming touches. Her and her team were so helpful on any questions we had. Location in heart of historic district was a big plus for us. We arrived early into town and her restaurant “Stella and Me “right next door had been recommended for lunch . We were not disappointed. Our sandwiches and soup were gourmet . A great food experience.

Totally Awesome, Amazing, Quiet, and Private Experience!

This stay was very nice, private, quiet and clean. We enjoyed our stay very much! Would encourage anyone coming to the St Louis Area to stay here, just know you are probably paying a bit less, to spend a little more time driving.

This room really helped make our trip. The room was stylish, wonderful small touches throughout (like the kuerig!). The bed was amazingly comfortable, and a very nice DVD collection for us to use. Shower was practically instantly hot. St. Louis was only a quick 20 minute drive away, and there are so many shops locally too. And the price just simply couldn't be beat. We are definitely going to book them again for our next trip!

Nice, quiet neighborhood

Overall, I really enjoyed my stay. I like that there is a private entrance to the room. Comfortable bed and sitting area as well as other touches like the coffee set up, space heater and extra blankets. It can be a little loud due to be in the basement and the house having hard wood floors. That was my only issue with my entire stay.

Very roomy, down a few steps to a suite, not a full flight. Bedroom to couch and TV was a large open space. Stocked Krueg style coffee maker. There was a outside exit if needed in an emergency. Across the hall was a roomy bathroom. All this on a separate level of the house from the family. Zero noise, etc. Very nice.

A friend and I stayed two days/one night for a last minute trip. The arrival/check in was so simple with the private entrance and keypad lock entry. No hassle with exchanging keys is a plus! The area was pristine and comfortable! There was a fruit basket/water bottles and a Keurig in the room with coffee mugs. Closet area with hangers. Even a cute binder full of house info, local tips and restaurants... so thoughtful! We would definitely stay again if ever in the area!

Heidi's place is very comfortable and makes you feel like a home away from home ,I work nights and it was very quiet during my stay! You will feel at home in Heidi's place. I was looking for a place to stay for 9 days, and this was a great find. Heidi's place is very welcoming. I always was happy when I returned after work. Heidi is a great host, and sophisticated person! Lots of cafes and restaurants nearby, even a public library. It's about a 20 minute drive to St Louis, and traffic is not a problem at all.

Heidi was delightful and so gracious! She is also very conscientious of wanting her guests to enjoy their stay. She was very accommodating and truly loves sharing her home. Her house is an eclectic mix of interesting decor and I enjoyed the coziness. Thank you Heidi for making me feel welcome!

This is a gem. Great Central location to Ofallon, Fairview Heights, Milkstadt, Collinsville, etc. The house has great amenities and s fenced in yard. Lillian was a wonderful host!

Better than I had hoped. Even seasonally decorated. Also, the kitchen includes dishes, cookware, and mixer. Finally, the are 2-3 vegan/ gluten free places within 3 miles. The Chinese/vietnamese place, Saigon, was great.

This place is amazing! It is a nice, cozy cottage with great access to the surrounding areas. The place is beautifully decorated and felt like home. We also had our dogs with us, and it worked out really well. We would definitely book again!

A great getaway right outside St Louis. The home is spacious to spread out and had all that we needed. Loved the outdoor deck and patios. Quite peaceful and relaxing. We’ll be back.

Paul and Megan are very responsive kind host. My husband and I had a romantic peaceful evening and would come here again. Hot tub is a huge bonus along with the lake view.

We had a short, one night stay and didn't get to take advantage of all this place has to offer but it is very lovely. We plan to visit again with a group of friends.

We loved staying at this quiet home on the lake. The bed was so comfortable and we enjoyed the hot tub at night. The fire place was cozy and Paul was an amazing host. We will definitely be back and would highly recommend his place for a relaxing getaway.

Beautiful home right on a private lake in a rural area. The hot tub is close to the house and wonderful in the winter. The location provides a perfect view of the stars at night from the comfort of the hot tub. The host was very kind and accommodating.

Comfy room in a comfy house! There's even play space for kids/exercise space for grown-ups. I liked being able to use the dining room to get some work done. Great house.

A wonderful and cozy spot to relax and have a peaceful stay. The amenities included a laptop, tv with plenty to watch, lots of covers, space heater, a few toiletries, beverages, lots of good books, and several places to sit and unwind, all made the place very homey and comfortable. We found the place quiet, clean, private, and very nicely & uniquely decorated. All around a really great stay!

Gilda's place is so unique and lovely. It has pretty much everything you could possibly want in a temporary stay. There were even some Band-Aids, food, and other convenient supplies that went above and beyond the expectations I have for an AirBnB. I wish we could've stayed longer than a night, and we would definitely stay here again. An amazing value for money.

Laura was great with communication and very accommodating. The cottage was much more charming in person than the pictures show. The upstairs bedroom was definitely my favorite. Its set up loft style with its own sitting area. The light was perfect and cozy in the morning. The beds were also incredibly comfortable! Definitely a must stay.

The yellow cottage was an absolutely lovely stay! As others have noted, the photos don't quite do it justice. It's a really charming space and beautiful historic home. It's also extremely walkable to town - within 10 minutes on foot you have several delicious breakfast spots, shopping, wineries. Everyone in town was incredibly friendly as well. Highly recommend.

Sean's place was a good find for great price. We received thorough information prior to check in and had laminated pages for reference in bungalow. Towels, toiletries, and basic kitchen essentials provided. Sean checked on us mid stay to ensure all was good which we appreciated. Cozy place, quiet neighborhood, and nearby Walmart for groceries or forgotten essentials. We found ourselves spending more time relaxing in bungalow rather than touring. Heidi is like the matriarch of an adult family...and you are part of the family. She keeps up with everyone's wants and needs, and takes care of them. She keeps up with everyone's schedules just like a mom. The house is nice and comfortable and her artistic talent is evident in the décor. She has a great dane named Lilly, who quickly became my best friend. I would highly recommend staying with Heidi.

We enjoyed our stay! The water takes a minute to warm up, and it can be kind of loud if people are upstairs. However, the place was very stylish and clean! The bed was comfortable and we felt very safe. We will definitely be back!
