No wonder Casablanca (Jeanne) is a super host, we are from SP capital and we know Rio de Janeiro reasonably well. We stayed at Casablanca1, (alias the whole set is spectacular), it is a wonderful view of Vidigal beach, that delicious noise from sea when sleeping, the casablanca1 is nice because it is next to the door and therefore, you do not need to climb many stairs, (believe this makes a difference when coming back from the party ... lol) Well ... as soon as we got to Casablanca, we went to the Flor do Céu restaurant by the Italian Tobias who is right there on the hill 2 brothers, just go up an endless staircase (I suggest taking a towel to dry ... lol), in addition to spectacular gastronomy the view is beautiful, we went to Portela's rehearsal in Madureira and combined everything with Mauro (including picking us up and taking him to the airport) he is super attentive and very good people. Access by car has to be done on the Vidigal road, at the door of the hill, but don't worry, it's super good, since those on foot, there is an access ramp that practically leaves in front of Casablanca, rent scooters, this makes it easier much. Uber there, it is better for the guest to go to the Sheraton hotel, because usually the drivers of the app get confused and think they have to go up the hill and cancel the race. Casablanca1 has everything for your stay, nice kitchen structure, take a little something to put in the fridge, calling food by app takes a long time to arrive. Finally ... Leblon is on the side (15 min walking, 5min scooter), enjoy ... Jeanne is super friendly and I'll be back more often ... SUPER RECOMMEND #casablancario

Wonderful house, we can see the whim in the smallest details, incredible view and excellent hospitality.

Excellent apartment in Copacabana. The cleanliness is impeccable and Ricardo's service is excellent. The ap has everything we need in the kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and laundry area. It is ideal for couples who like to travel in comfort.

Cozy, well located apartment very comfortable for two. Close to lots of eating places, 2 min walk to the beach. Easy access from airport, half hour by Uber under 60 reals.

The apartment is one block from the beach and although we do not feel insecure at any time, it is not located in a picturesque street. Super clean and very well decorated. Check in / out was very simple. The communication with Ricardo was very good.

Better location can not be! Everything is on 5 min walk: Copacabana beach, restaurants, drogeries, shops, exchange office, by uber you reach Ipanema beach in 5-8 min. Very high level of hospitality. It is not big place but it has everything you need. Very clean. Hirata and Fatima very polite hosts, proactive and prompt in answering all your needs and questions. Hirata waited for me early in the morning at the place and let me put my lugagge at the room while it’s ready for check in. Very nice and polite man. I would always recommend this place! :)

Excellent location, 3 blocks from the beach, is a small apartment but with everything you need for a nice stay, very close to everything, Fatima very friendly, responded to us shortly and was very attentive in our stay, highly recommended !!

I recommend staying with Alzerina, because for all the polynomials of the month of traveling in Latin America, it was the most modern, clean and comfortable apartment with a friendly hostess, located right next to the beach.

Perfect hosting, super indication!

Alzerina’s room was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was right next to Copacabana beach and all amenities you’d need. Alzerina was extremely helpful and generous by allowing us to store luggage and shower before a flight after we checked out!

I highly recommend lodging with Alzerina, who is a very kind, friendly, careful person of their space and attentive to the needs of their guests. Its site is conveniently located steps from the Atlantic Avenue and the famous Copacabana Beach. His kindness and courtesy is so great that he allowed me to extend an additional night in his lodging due to the cancellation of my flight. Highly recommended!

I went to Rio for the first time. Mariana's apartment was instrumental in making the experience ideal! Cozy place, very cool even on very hot days, the fans leave the environment at great temperature. In addition it has basic kitchen utensils, perfect for those looking for a practical stay, we really feel at home. The path to the beach is short and very busy. We also love the variety of street shops that have pharmacies, produce, markets and restaurants at an affordable price. We love the stay!

Mariana's apartment is somewhat cozy, meets the expectation of those who want a quiet place to stay! Fast entry through the concierge upon arrival, and when I arrived everything was in its proper place, clean and smelling! Well worth the stay, has everything nearby: shops, markets, pharmacies! Mariana was also fast, always giving us quick answers!

Marianas place was amazing! I stayed there when I first got to Brazil. It’s easy to find, and check in was no problem. Very safe place and very clean. Internet works well, hot shower, and only two blocks from the beach. All kinds of cool restaurants, cafes, and shops all around. Highly recommended!

We had a really nice stay at Mariana's place! The location is amazing and Mariana was really helpful. As you can tell from the pictures it's not the most modern flat but you should be spending most of your time at the beach anyway what makes it a great place to stay for a visit to Rio!

The apartment is located in an excellent location, close to restaurants, subway stations and several tourist attractions, such as the historic center, Santa Tereza and Lapa. The location is safe, comfortable and has leisure options during the day and night, in addition to being very close to Santos Dumont airport (5 minutes by car). The apartment is very comfortable, clean, well equipped and decorated, it has a beautiful panoramic view to the center, from where you can see the arches of Lapa and the Metropolitan Cathedral. The apartment is located in a central area near subway stations and trains to move. It is super comfortable and has many kitchen items. It is as seen in the photos! The apartment is very well set and has spectacular views. It is located 15 minutes walk from the neighborhood of leblon and 5 minutes from the prainha do vidigal which is very beautiful. To get to the apartment you have to climb many steps, which at times we found very tiring. Thank you Jeanne for the excellent attention, our stay was wonderful!

This Airbnb was amazing! The location makes you feel like a local but also just a brief walk to the tourist beaches. The Airbnb did have a lot of steps but that came with a amazing views of the beach. Jeanne and her assistant Christina were super accommodating and even helped out with our laundry. When I visit Rio again I’ll rebook for this location.

This is the BEST place to stay in Rio! I have been coming here for the past 7 years or so and Jeanne is so nice and the place is simply magical. There is no other place like this in Rio (and I checked ALL the airbnbs from Rio). I will always come back.

The apartment is compact and very well located next to the cinelandia subway and surrounded by restaurants and fast foods, has a large space with a mini kitchen and a nice bathroom. With elevators but also has a short flight of steps at the entrance, the building is old but maintained and the hostess is always asking for any contact with questions. The only problem we had was finding a knife in the apartment we had to buy but the rest is very complete, I recommend for those who want a cozy place in the heart of downtown Rio.

We really enjoyed our stay at Marco’s place over a few days of carnival. It is right on the doorstep of Copacabana and we felt very safe walking around, even after dark. The room was everything we needed & the bathroom was beautiful! Spacious and modern. Marco is really friendly and helpful if you have any questions. We would recommend staying here :)

The apartment is in a strategic place. You can quickly reach Ipanema beaches and take advantage of the proximity to Copacabana. At night we have areas nearby to go out to drink, eat and listen to good music

Amazing apartment, very well located, clean, spacious. Marco is a kind person and helped a lot with my doubts and my friend. The Apto is steps from Copacabana beach, has a nearby subway station as well as a supermarket and facilities. For sure recommend and will return on a next trip to Rio!

Our stay was good and peaceful. Reading other comments I was afraid of getting too hot, but the two fans helped a lot. We had no problems with noise from the street and it was quiet to sleep and rest. The building's porters were super nice people with us and helped us a lot. The only thing that sinned a little was the faucet in the kitchen sink that I had a problem closing, but it was quiet. I would stay again very easy, Vanessa was a great hostess

A very stylish apartment. Very little left to stay 100%, only WiFi internet and air conditioning. Although, in the apartment there are two fans that greatly help to circulate the air and soften the heat a little. Other than that the hostess was super kind and extremely punctual and responsible in the communications and information provided regarding the property description.

A place with a central location, practically in Lapa, but belongs to Santa Teresa. In the area, many social realities intermingle, but the place is very safe. It is near a fairly large supermarket, there are also bars, restaurants, a Smartfit almost next door, locomotion nearby, the SDU airport is just a few minutes away. I found it wonderful, a broad, safe and economical apt.

Excellent apartment close to everything in central Rio. A few minutes from Arcos da Lapa, Aterro do Flamengo and Largo do Guimarães. This is my second time, and I intend to go back.

Diego's loft has a privileged location! Great restaurants close by, a huge mall and the beach just steps away. Super clean and comfortable for 2 (up to 3) people. The bathroom is great, with a good shower. And Diego responds super fast and is extremely solicitous!

We had a great stay at Diego's stylish petite apartment - the location is top with a good sushi place just next door. Very safe area with many nice bars and around 10 min walk from the Leblon beach.

Extremely comfortable room, exceeded my expectations. Very well ventilated and clean, the bathroom the same. Large and spacious! The view is wonderful. Mr. Mauricio is a great host and very responsive. The location is great! The building is made up of bars and restaurants, horticulture, market, police stations, taxi rank (which is not lacking in Rio), and of course, in front of Leme beach. You can make a great walk through Copacabana, or if you prefer a ride with the shared orange bikes.

We love the best accommodation in Rio de Janeiro

We had a lovely time in Rio. The apartment is in good location close to the beach and restaurants. We had our morning coffee in the balcony with the view of sugarloaf and Copacabana beach . Very lovely and kind couple.

The apartment is perfectly located at the Copacabana with an extraordinary view. It was very clean and is equipped with everything you need. We felt extremely safe, and enjoyed the morning cafe on the balcony with a great view over the Copacabana beach. The check-in was very easy and when we arrived, we could immediately get the apartment although it was not yet check-in time. The communication was always kind and very easy. Miguel and Maria were really great hosts and took the time to give us advice or just talk a bit when we met in the hall. Whenever we come back to Rio, we will for sure rent the Apartment again; we could not imagine a better place, directly at the Copacabana beach. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable!

Great little apartment in Copacabana! Down the street and around the corner from the Hilton hotel! Lots of awesome restaurants nearby. Building doormen were very nice!

Very clean accommodation and great room, the location is incredibly close to everything, next to the Copacabana palace and close to the helm.

This is a no nonsense location great for exploring Leblon beach and the surrounding neighborhood! There are fantastic shops and bars all over and is quite cozy.

My partner and I lovedddd staying here! We stayed for 5 nights to conclude our first visit to Rio for Carnival. Upon arriving, Paola greeted us and gave us a tour of the space and noted that we would most likely have the pool deck to ourselves (which we did) and that she’d let us know if they were going to want to use it before doing so. The view was amazing! Sooo great! Every day & night waking & sleeping to that view was the best thing ever, even during the rainy moments. The location was great & safe! 10min walk to Ipanema & Copacabana, in which supermarkets and restaurants were easy accessible along the way. My partner is 6’5” and I am 5’10” and we were able to rest ok in the bed and watch Netflix from our tablet in-between us. It does get a bit stuffy in the chalet but the AC unit helped and the awesome breeze from being so high also made the stay more comfortable. I would definitely recommend staying here! We are planning on doing so again during our visit next Carnival. Mucho obrigado Piero & Paola!

Rustic charm with a view to die for!

This place is pure heaven. It’s very simple in terms of amenities, the bathroom is a few steps below the room and the room itself has enough space to contain the bed and luggage, but the terrace is very big, the pool is great and the views are nothing short of spectacular. Waking up to this every morning was a real luxury. The host, Piero’s wife Paola, is a lovely person that went out of her way to make me feel welcome and was an excellent conversation. If you have a thing for amazing views, warm hosts and somehow unconventional places to stay - this is it.

This is such a wonderful place. The day we went up to Christ the Redeemer, it was too cloudy to see anything, but having this view at all times made that just fine. Waking up to that view every morning is just wonderful. Having the pool there is great.

This place is amazing, the view above Rios feels like a dream!! The host Paola was super nice and welcoming.

Treat yourself with an unforgettable stay in Piero and Paola’s chalet! The views, the pool and overall experience is mindblowing. Piero also gave us wonderful restaurant tips. Cannot wait to come back!
