We live in an 1895 Victorian top flat with 12 foot ceilings on the best block in San Francisco. Our calendar is always up to date. Location Location Location~ Our home is close to the Mission, Lower Haight, and 2.5 blocks from the Castro theater. The underground is 3 blocks away, with a street car even closer. The room is small and cosy, but a great price for one of the most expensive neighborhoods in the US! Please fill out your profile if you are interested~and make sure to arrange a time to meet prior to your arrival, I lead a busy lifestyle, work full time, and wouldn't want to miss anyone! Check in is at 5 and we are 37 steps up from street level. Restaurants are plentiful and beautiful Dolores Park is quite close. Your room has a twin day bed 75 inches long with a desk and a solid door. The room is 9.25 feet by 8 feet. Amenities include wireless and a gorgeous full kitchen. We have one cat that enjoys company almost as much as we do and a sweet rescue pooch. Our flat gets more light than any other home I've been to in my 13 years of living in this great town. For all you foodies out there BiRite Creamery, Tartine, Delfina's Pizza and Proper are within 4.5 blocks of our front door. Michelin rated Range is just a few farther. As much as we love bikes, and we do, we don't have space for storage. If you rent one please return it at the end of the day or lock up on the street at your own risk. Please ask if you would like to have a friend for a short visit.

I also enjoyed the accompany of Boo (her dog) and Mumu (her cat). Location is perfect. It's convenient to get around. There are so many good restaurants close by. Bernal Heights is a very popular neighborhood. It's interesting, safe, convenient, beautiful, quiet. The best place to live in SF!
  • Mike and Nic are charming and caring hosts. The accommodation is perfect for a couple. Everything is clean, good mattress, good hot water, good WiFi connection. Bernal Heights is a quiet residential area with a few local shops. The only downside for users of public transport, you will need to allow at least 45 min for a trip to the city center. Thank you for your welcome, Roger and Chantal

  • Great area full of gems- check out the swing and the slide for sure. Nic and Mike amazing hosts.

    Zelda2020-01-24T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, beautiful decorated, very private and cozy apartment in an excellent neighborhood. The communication with hosts was very efficient. I would definitely recommend this place.

    Sebastián2020-01-18T00:00:00Z
  • This place was fantastic! The neighborhood was wonderful; we walked to breakfast every morning, and watched the sunset from the hill behind the house. Mike & Nic were out of town when we arrived but Chrissy took great care of us, and gave us a bunch of great tips for places to see/eat while we were in town! We couldn't figure out the gas fireplace the first night but Chrissy came right over and helped us. Loved this apartment, bigger than it looks in the ad and well-appointed, cozy, just all around a wonderful experience. We will definitely book this place the next time we visit San Francisco!

One bedroom sanctuary with a beautiful garden view and cozy fireplace. Comes with it's own entrance just steps from bus lines, train, and all that Haight Street has to offer. Complete privacy with a separate bedroom, bathroom, and breakfast bar. There is a pull-out twin bed in the living room as well.
If you want to be within walking distance to Golden Gate Park, Haight St, Buena Vista Park, and Cole Valley, this is the spot. Full size bed in the bedroom with 400 thread count sheets and a pull-out twin in the living room. Just installed fireplace and large screen tv makes hanging out fun in the comfortable living room. Bathroom has a shower within the tub and white fluffy towels.
You will hear from many that this is the best neighborhood in SF. I chose this area for the many Victorian homes, the ease of mass transit, the walkability, and the abundance of parks, restaurants, and nightlife nearby. As a recent transplant to this area I can tell you that the stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and pubs are great here. I forget I have a car most of the time! Street parking is easy except for Wednesday 8-10 due to street cleaning.
  • We’ve just returned from a 6 night stay at the Garden Retreat. It was a perfect location for us as it is a peaceful neighbourhood away from downtown, but all the sights were easily accessible by public transport - about 15 mins on the metro. Cole Valley is nearby with some great places to eat and it only takes 30 minutes to walk up to the Twin Peaks viewing point for unparalleled views of the city. Can’t recommend the area and the accommodation enough.

  • Sara is a great host, very flexible and easy to communicate with. The place is nice and clean with lots of great extra linens. Very comfortable.

    Sadie2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • We had a lovely stay at Sara's airbnb and I would definitely recommend. The location is so great for accessing Golden Gate Park and a quick commute downtown. Sara was a perfect host and we felt right at home in her cozy place. Will be back!

    Michelle2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • My partner and I had a great time here. Sara was very helpful and lovely. It's in a great location to explore San Francisco. It felt very private and safe staying here. There is so much to do and see in San Francisco we wanted to stay longer!

    Curtis2020-01-25T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful place in the heart of SF. Close to everything. We would highly recommend.

    Gregory2020-01-16T00:00:00Z
  • Sarah's place is charming and quiet...facing a back garden with windows that open..a lovely gas fireplace in the living room..a bathroom that can be used by both the person in the bedroom and the person one the sofa bed. The location is really fun with shoes and places that are walkable. It worked well for me and my friend. She let us get in earlier in the day than check in time because we had luggage to store and that was so nice..

    Mary2019-12-09T00:00:00Z
  • Sara was amazing, she helped us get to the place even during odd hours on a weekend.

    Rajeshwar Rao2019-11-23T00:00:00Z
  • I definitely recommend staying at Sara’s place. It’s a lovely apartment - very private, on a beautiful street of classic SF Victorian townhomes, a short walk to the fun Haight St shops and restaurants, a great market, and the beautiful Buena Vista and Golden Gate parks.

Private entry, first-floor-sidewalk-level suite of living room, kitchen, bedroom and bath with artful touches in restored 1911 Edwardian. Close to beaches, GGate Park, GGate Bridge, groceries, cafes, restaurants on city-wide trolly line for memorable vacation/business/retreat. Easy drive to Marin.
The private suite, is clean and comfortable with original windows and doors providing natural light and fresh air. The 1911 doorways are a bit lower than usual so something to consider if you are very tall. It is San Francisco living so you can be sure to hear the sounds of a trolley passing by and footsteps from family (and two friendly dogs) in the flat above. It’s real life in the City. SF STR permit number (4 zeroes) 949
We live in a friendly neighborhood with cafes and restaurants, national park, beaches and world-class museums, situated perfectly to explore San Francisco’s extraordinary cultural and natural beauty. Just step out the yellow door and take a short walk on the “neighborhood path” to Baker Beach. A little bit further in any direction will lead you right to the Golden Gate Bridge, Land's End and Ocean Beach. On your journeys walk through the neighborhood overlooking the Pacific Ocean to the Legion of Honor Museum in Lincoln Park, through Golden Gate Park to the DeYoung Museum and the Academy of Sciences. Afterward head over to the Arboretum for a picnic lunch next to its its lakes and gardens. If you prefer sidewalk fun, walk down Clement Street from 25th Avenue to Arguello (1st Avenue) stopping in at Green Apple Books with its extraordinary offering of new and used, explore the stores, and stop in at one of the many pubs and restaurants. Live like a local and take the California 1 electric trolley - aka the unofficial tour bus - the full 7 miles across the city to the Ferry Building (about a 2 hour walk.) On and off privileges on the trolley means you can step off when a neighborhood catches your curiosity - Fillmore District, Polk Gulch, North Beach - each has its own flavor and makes San Francisco such a great place to visit and live. If you are looking for a movie and dinner, there’s Pizetta 211 and the Four Star Theater just around the corner, two of our neighborhood’s not so secret gems. There's something for everyone.
  • Amazing location and wonderful accommodations!

    Sam2020-02-22T00:00:00Z
  • This suite was extremely charming. So many unexpected touches - super well stocked! (Fully stocked kitchen, toiletries, board games and cards, extra blankets, etc) It was very clean and comfortable. It got cold at times but we looked forward to the heated bed every night! Although the location was a bit far from downtown, the area felt safe and had lots of hidden gems nearby.. as well as an amazing view of the bridge from Baker beach! We’d definitely stay here again.

    Jenna2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • The location in perfect, near the parks, near the bridge, parking in the zone is not so dificult as the rest of the city, and you can go any where from there with the public transport. Dennis and his wife are present, and they re very helpful in everything. The room is confortable, and very nice decorated, and with a playgroung outside. Definitely the perfect choice for two people on San Francisco

    Alejandro2020-02-13T00:00:00Z
  • We loved our stay. The home was so warm and homely and stylishly decorated. We’d love to come back.

    Domanii2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time in the appartment of Dennis in San Francisco. There are a few absolut wonderful Restaurants across the street and a market. There is also a laundry and a food-market with great breakfast in the neighborhood. The appartment was absolutely great and we felt right at home. The interior is made with so much love and its everything there, you need. I would say, it’s one of the most beautiful Airbnb’s I’ve ever been. There is the absolute amazing Baker Beach within 10 mins by foot, where you have a wonderfull view to the golden Gate Bridge. We would definitely come back!!!

    Jessica2020-01-30T00:00:00Z
  • What an amazing find! We loved the location--short walks to Baker beach and the Presidio, as well as great little spots like Pearl 6101. And the price can't be beat, especially for such an amazing space with everything you could want. Dennis is very responsive and has thought of everything you may need. Great spot for anyone wanting to spend time in this part of the City.

    Jaclyn2020-01-26T00:00:00Z
  • Fab location, easy to find, comfortable & stylish, really cozy. Lots of public transport and restaurants very near. Would definitely stay again.

    David2020-01-23T00:00:00Z
  • Amazing location we were able to get to all the places in the city on only 1-2 buses including SFO. Super quiet area. Everything you could need with a cafe, laundromat, pizza, bus stop and grocery store within 100 yards. Great selection of tea and coffee in the apt. Bed was super comfy. Very charming and S.F. Very spacious even though I had to duck a little.

Relax around the fire pit on the private patio at this garden Craftsman studio. Smooth concrete, edison bulb lighting, and chunky furniture create an industrial look, while the open-plan layout keeps things relaxed and comfortable.
This studio promises to absolutely take your breath away upon first sight. Cool and romantic, carefully decorated and recently renovated by master architects; the space gives you plenty of room to breath while still retaining a sense of invigorating calm. Abundantly spacious with the addition of our beautiful back garden and shack - this home guarantees the stay of a life time.
The Outer Richmond holds all of the excitement of San Francisco while retaining a low-key feel. Nowhere else has unique and delicious eateries, a surfers' beach, museums, parks, hiking, and historical sites all within close walking distance.
  • This place is a sanctuary. So cool, peaceful and relaxing. Lots of space, short walk to an area of restaurants, yoga & cafe’s. Close to beach and park too. Loved staying here and will definitely book again.

    Robin2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Great place for a solo traveler or couple. The space was clean and the hosts were very friendly.

    Alexandra2019-09-22T00:00:00Z
  • Stay of a month in this pretty little apartment located under that of the guests, recommended for 2 (privacy limited to 4 since the sofa bed is a few meters from the bed). Near a Safeway, rather cute and very nice area for a long stay (close to the beach, near the Golden Gate Park, no homeless, it feels very safe). Adorable and attentive hosts, they have solved all the worries that we have encountered (breakdown of heating, need to borrow their number for a delivery of food ...) in a very fast time! The only real flaw in our opinion, parking is more difficult than it seems to be in the ad, in any case in general it's true that it is easy to find a place in the day, but it gets harder and harder as the clock ticks on, so be prepared to turn in a lot of streets if you come back late in the week. Advantage nonetheless, the parking is completely free, just pay attention to weekly or monthly street cleaning but it is very well indicated on the panels.

  • Great hosts that were always super available, helpful and so nice.

    Daniel2018-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • Josh and Lizzie were amazing hosts! Very responsive and accomodating. Nice quiet neighborhood with lots to do around the corner on Balboa. Buses are convenient and take about 30mins to downtown.

    Kyler2018-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Josh was a great host, very helpful. He addressed all my questions and needs in a prompt manner. Flat is nicelly equipped and very cosy. Has beautiful garden. Location is great for people who lobe peace and quiet, nature ans ocean. Well connected with down town SFO. Beach is beautiful. Must try - devils teeth bakery and java beach coffee shop. I had a great stay

    Lidija2017-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • We were lucky enough to spend two whole months living in Josh and Lizzie’s 'Beautiful Beachside Home' and it is just a beautiful as the photo’s suggest. It is a great space, bigger than we imagined and in May and June the garden was beautiful with all of the plants in bloom. When the sun is shinning the garden is a real sun trap with protection from the wind that sometimes comes from the sea, which is only a few blocks away. The location is excellent, with not just the beach on your doorstep but also Golden Gate Park, Sutro Heights/Baths, Seal Rock and Lands End a short walk away. In fact if like us you love to just stare are the Golden Gate Bridge then there is a great view of that from Lands End just 10/15 minutes walk away. The neighbourhood facilities only a short walk away in Balboa Street are excellent, with many varied resturant options to suit every budget and having a cinema on your doorstep was really special. Look out for the classic Thursday movies which include old favourites and movies you might have missed on their first release. The monthly theme is usually the director of the movies. We spent our two months here without a car! The bus services are excellent and great value (use the MUNI App) as is UBER and if you don’t mind walking there is so much more to see as you explore the different neighbourhoods San Francisco has to offer. Josh and Lizzie are the perfect hosts, never obtrusive but always there when you need them, they made us feel very welcome and at home. We would have no hesitation in staying here again it was so much better than staying in a hotel downtown. We felt like we really got to know San Francisco and this was probably our 5th of 6th visit in 25 years.

    Stephen2017-07-01T00:00:00Z

  • This spot is perfect for a visit to the city of San Francisco. The en suite room has all the amenities you'll need, and everything is spotless. Jeff and Mike are incredibly welcoming and attentive, and the space is comfortable and cozy. Jeff and Mike gave lots of recommendations before I arrived and also pointed me to terrific dining areas just around the corner once I was ready to explore. The space is safe for a woman traveling alone, and the hosts are very quick to respond to any request or query. I would return to this location without hesitation. Thank you, Jeff and Mike!

  • Thanks Jeff and Mike for being such lovely hosts. We loved our stay - what a great part of town and such a lovely home you have. We appreciated all your tips and that you were so accommodating with storing our oversized luggage in your garage.

    Camilla2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • This place is exactly what I was looking for - perfectly located near shops and restaurants, and an easy walk to the Presidio for breathtaking views. Jeffrey provided a list of recommended places to eat, as well as several resources to find out what was happening in the city during our stay. The room was immaculate. Very modern and stylish with a private bathroom that was also sparkling clean. I appreciated the little extras too, like water bottles in the fridge and shampoo & conditioner in the bath. Towels were fresh & soft (luxury hotel quality grade). All these touches made our stay just perfect. I was would stay again in a heartbeat!

  • I was fortunate enough to live in Blair's apartment for the past year. The apartment is stylish, chic and well equipped. The location cannot be beat with fabulous Filmore and Union Streets just blocks away. Blair responded immediately to any questions or issues I had. She is also super nice and super helpful! Staying in Blair's apartment was a very positive experience. I was sad to say goodbye!

  • This is an incredible place to stay in the heart of Pac Heights. Just steps from Filmore St. with tons of bustling restos, shops, and cafés. We loved the dramatic views down the hills surrounding Blair's place. The apartment is incredibly stylish and the perfect size for a couple. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

  • The place was immaculately clean. The comfort of the home, stylish design and great location made the stay worthy. The host was very responsive to help and even offer to come over to help me with the tv. I had a wonderful time staying here.

Explore the heart of San Francisco from this designer studio. Unwind in this boutique, open-concept space with carefully selected decor or gaze out across the city from the rooftop terrace with 360-degree views, a BBQ, and a seating area.
Our studio includes parking for a compact, midsize, or entry-level luxury car. If your car doesn't fit (SUVs won't fit) you'll need to use street parking, which is metered, or pay for parking at a nearby garage. Check-in time depends on the day of the week. Absolutely no smoking is permitted in our studio. We also appreciate if guests avoid using strong perfumes/colognes while staying at our studio. This modern studio is located in one of SF's newer buildings. It has light brown floors, brand new furniture, and includes wifi and a 39 inch flat screen TV which streams Roku, Amazon Prime, Netflix and over 60 local channels. In addition to the everyday essentials expected in a modern home (heating, oven, fridge, etc), a dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, iron, blow dryer and a washer/dryer are included for your convenience. Our unit is extremely quiet; excellent for getting a good night's rest on a cozy queen size bed. The building's common areas are monitored around the clock for your security. The entrance to Highway 101 - southbound (to the Peninsula) and northbound (to the East Bay) - is 4 minutes away. In the event 3 guests want to sleep on separate beds, you can use the daybed sofa which is around the same size as a single bed.
The building is located in the Civic Center area, in the middle of town, and is equal distance to all of the nightlife options and places of interest. Discover the city with close access to the water and the iconic Mission District.
  • I enjoyed my time staying here, and everything was great. There were all the amenities that I needed, the location is perfect, and Carlos and Graciela were very friendly and helpful. I definitely would like to stay here again.

  • Wonderful place. Carlos was a phenomenal host.

    Jaime Joel2019-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • If I had to choose between great hosts and great apartment, I would choose the first. But imagine if you would not have to make compromise and you could have both hosts and a wonderful place to live. Actually, there is no need to imagine this scenario: simply contact Graciela and Carlos. I can only reinforce what is already written in previous reviews: Graciela and Carlos are a wonderful couple who will do everything in their power to make your stay as comfortable as possible in their studio(s). As a matter of fact, my impression is that they will gladly run the extra mile in order to help. The apartment is one of the best ones I have ever lived in (and I have lived in many apartments and houses throughout 10 countries of Europe and Asia). I know where I will want to stay next time I come to San Francisco. To wrap it up, I can wholeheartedly recommend any of their apartments (even though I lived in only one). By having great and caring hosts like Graciela and Carlos, the only thing you need to "worry about" is to enjoy your stay in this wonderful city.

    Ivan2018-12-05T00:00:00Z
  • Wonderful hosts, great apartment. Best thing about it is that Carlos and Graciela were very available if I needed anything and very helpful at check-in. The best Air bnb experience I've had so far!

    Heather2018-11-04T00:00:00Z
  • Great place to stay! Carlos is great and quick with responses :)

    Aditya2018-09-02T00:00:00Z
  • Carlos is a great host! He gives a proper and thorough orientation to the building and the condo! He shows you how to access the “other” building, and I’m so glad he did! One day the elevator was closed to the garage for “moving” and I had to enter the other building to get into the garage to get my car. I wouldn’t have known what to do if Carlos hadn’t shown me that other buildings access to the garage (there is no on sight office here as it’s not an apartment complex). The place was white glove clean! I love the decor! Carlos was quick to respond to any communication efforts. I would love to stay here again!

There is nothing more I can ask about the place. 15-20mins by car driving to downtown. Probably better to get Uber around the place. It would probably be 20-30dollars depends on where in town you want to go.

The suite is conveniently located steps away from major bus lines and minutes from some of the best SF has to offer!! Located in sunny Silver Terrace neighborhood of San Francisco only a ten minute cab ride to the airport and ten more to the heart of the city. Close aproximity to freeways keeps cab ride fares low!
Enjoy your very own newly rennovated private suite. The suite is bright and airy. There's a quaint kitchen which is equipped with all the necessities to make a great meal (e.g. coffee maker, burner top, and toaster oven). A built-in table with swivel bar stools is across the way for a cozy sit down dining experience. The suite is outfitted with a queen Tempurpedic mattress for optimal sleeping comfortability. There is also a sofa which can be converted to a bed. I provide all the linens for the bed as well as the sofa sleeper. I have a flat screen Tv with cable. The Tv is wall mounted and can swivel. The bathroom is tucked behind a barn door for complete privacy. There's a frameless standing shower big enough for 2 people, vanity with plenty of counter space, and large walk-in closet. I provide hand soap, blow dryer, towels, and toilet paper. I believe you will really enjoy the space that I have created. Happy travels!

  • This is a gem of a place if you are looking for something outside of the hustle and bustle of the city. It’s fairly close to the freeway, but the noise was soft at night and it was nice to be able to Uber into the city on a whim. The bed is luxuriously comfortable! 10/10 would recommend.

  • Hotel Whitcomb was all that I had hoped it would be. Elegant and historic - such an amazing place. The room had high ceilings and felt very comfortable. Loved the decor. Highly recommend if you enjoy staying in unique places. If you want modern cookie-cutter, then HW is not for you. I loved it very much.

  • This hotel is super conveniently located, the staff was incredibly helpful, they moved us into a bigger room and made sure we were comfortable. The cafe was tasty. Definitely would stay again when we come back!

  • My wife and I loved our stay. We got to enjoy the beautiful hotel and even learned some history about the hotel itself. The front desk was very hospitable and made us feel right at home for the evening. The room we had was great. A++++

    Jeff2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • I would recommend staying here if you want to save money compared to other expensive San Francisco hotel rates. We stayed in room 251 and the hotel room photos were fairly accurate. Bathroom may be slightly older. The room was clean and staff were nice. Not sure why they are rated poorly on airbnb and google. Because it's San Francisco and there can be additional fees and taxes, I messaged and clarified what the total fees and taxes would be via airbnb messaging. Management did confirm total cost which was very nice. They accidentally charged our card upon checkout however we received the money back a week later. They sometimes host events in their halls so be sure to confirm this prior to booking. We had a Salsa Dancing 2-day event during our stay. You can hear people laughing in the hall but we didn't mind it too much. The hotel cleaning staff were nice and provided us with bathroom supplies that we forgot to pack.

    Kyle2020-02-17T00:00:00Z

  • If your looking for that old San Francisco feel with the modern touch this place is the place to be at. Great hospitality; thanks Alberto for the recommendations and quick and easy check in process. Fisherman’s Wharf, Castro, Union Square, Lombard Street and the Golden Gate Bridge are all a hop and a skip away. I’m very happy i ended up choosing to stay at Hotel Whitcomb. Definitely planning to stay here again on my next visit.

This spacious and newly renovated studio features spacious living area which opens directly onto a private deeded deck. Chef kitchen with electric range, custom cabinetry, breakfast bar, and CeasarStone countertops and common laundry in the building. Easy parking on the street.
The Studio has a private deck for customers for relaxation and a private library full of French books to explore(educational, culture, politic, etc). I am a French teacher in San Francisco.
The 24th street is half a block away and has tone of shops, shops and couple of bars included sport bars. There is a Walgreen store on 24th and Castro, four blocs down. Bank of America and WellsFargo are located on 24th street, between Castro and Noe. There is a WholeFood store between Noe and Sanchez.
  • Exceptional location close to all the places to visit. Free street parking exceptional for a city like San Francisco. Apartment located in a quiet street and above all very steep which makes it charming. Ideal for a couple there was all the equipment we need. Insulation with the apartment above to review. Super good stay in San Francisco.

  • If you are into watching t.v. when relaxing, bring a lap top to watch movies or etc., otherwise there's plenty of interesting books to read. The street is steep, but an amazing workout, & amazing view for a night time stroll.

Plan the day while sipping coffee at the white lacquer dining table of this stylish, second-floor flat in a Victorian home. Orange textiles, colorful ceramics, and board games are eclectic accents amid minimalist furnishings and pale hardwood floors.
Private studio flat on the second floor of a duplexed home with one flight of steps to get to the entrance and two more to get into the door. Street unmetered parking or a space can be made available nearby for an additional fee.
Situated between the heights and sites of Bernal Hill, known for its stunning views, the studio is close to shops, cafes, and restaurants, including some of the best taquerias in town. The Mission District is also nearby.
  • Jan and Bernard are the most caring hosts I've had so far using Airbnb. They checked in every now and then to ensure my experience was remarkable. The studio has all the amenities you could need for every day things. It was very convenient to have a Safeway so close to the area.

    Eduardo2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • This is clearly the best place to stay in SF !

    Andréa2019-06-23T00:00:00Z
  • Jan and Bernard’s rental is excellent and highly recommended. It comes well stocked. The location is great, near Bart and many fine restaurants. We enjoyed hiking up to the top of Bernal Park daily. J&B were very quick to answer any text questions we had. If you need a long term rental you won’t find a better value in SF.

    Jim2019-04-02T00:00:00Z
  • I stayed for a month and really loved my stay. The flat was compact, yet very efficient and looked and felt spacious. I was concerned about having the bed so close to the fridge, but it was a very quiet fridge. Everything was so comfortable about the space. The walk through the neighborhood was always enjoyable. I commuted everyday via a walk to the 24th and Mission Street BART stop and then it was only 3 quick stops to Market and Powell Streets. Nearby on Mission, I enjoyed a few nightly stops at great neighborhood bars - Virgil's and The Royal Cuckoo. And Safeway was a short walk- with great views on the way back home. Thanks Jan and Bernard for a wonderful stay. I wish I had San Francisco on my schedule again soon...but you'll certainly hear from me again someday.

  • Spent a month at this studio and everything was phenomenal. Jar of cookies waiting for me at my arrival, after my own heart for sure! Very clean, very functional space. Having a private dishwasher and washer/dryer is a touch of class I'm typically not graced with! Location great as well. Nice quiet neighborhood, but steps away from the essentials: grocer, convenience store, drug store not to mention all the wonders of Mission and Valencia mere blocks away. Had a great time and Jan made everything easy. Cheers!

  • This is a great place with close proximity to many of the famous attractions in San Francisco. The space is very quiet and has a pretty view into the garden. Parking can be a challenge after 6pm and I very much appreciated Su noting that and recommending parking a block and a half away by the park. I wish I could have stayed and enjoyed the relaxing space longer.

  • Su and Phil’s place is excellent. It is perfectly located, being only a couple of blocks south of Golden Gate State Park, and a relatively short walk away from Haight and Ashbury. The local neighbourhood has lovely shops, cafes and restaurants too. The apartment itself is perfect for a short stay. There is an airy lounge, and a small but fully functional kitchen. The price is good, given the location, and Su and Phil are excellent, friendly, responsive hosts. Highly recommended!

  • The MulkHouse was amazing. It was just right for us. We felt like we were at home. Colleen had very quick responses and also allowed us a late check out, which was great. It's very conveniently located near the Muni Transit line. The bed was super soft. They stocked the fridge with snacks and waters. I would definitely recommend the location. The were the best host. I am looking forward to booking again on my next trip to SF.

You can also meet raccoons at the balcony ! they understand english apparently... Anyway, we had a great time in SF and this house was part of it.

  • The location is great and Stephen is a really communicative and helpful host. The library room was quaint and the perfect rest spot between sightseeing around San Francisco. Would highly recommend to anyone staying here for a few days and looking for a charming central location!

  • It’s a lovely space charming as it is. Cats are fluffy and quiet. Super convenience transportation and food and market are within walkable distance. You can see raccoons in the backyard. Stephen is very careful too, thanks for hosting! I quite enjoy the experience here.

  • The Library room is amazing; appreciation for cats a must! Stephen was incredibly patient with my last minute travel issues. And as a thoughtful touch, he'd saved a recent newspaper review of a play I was in town to see. Had it waiting for me in the room :-)

  • Very good stay in a typical San Francisco accommodation. Certainly a bit old but very well. Host welcoming, easy to contact and good advice. To note the presence of 2 charming cats for those that it could annoy. Wonderful stay in a typical San Francisco home. Some parts may be a bit old but that's part of the charm. Welcoming host, easy to get in touch with and good advice. The place comes with two charming cats in case that bothers you.

Stay at our Artsy home in SF's Portola District. One bedroom available in our home with kids & two cats. Great Hikes! WE LIVE IN THE HOME. We do get up early and there is some AM noise. 2 min walk to bus & 15 min ride to subway. 15 drive downtown or 45 min on bus/train. Easy freeway access! 15 min drive to SFO airport! Come enjoy a quiet getaway from the hubbub of the City... We are NOT close to tourist area but it's a sweet spot. Lots of street parking!
Guests love the bed! The bedroom is decorated and has simple furniture. See photos.
Visit Maclaren Park to hike! Breakfast at Tiffany's is super yummy! Four Barrel Coffee is also great! There is a grocery store called Grocery Outlet about 10 blocks away. And we have a new brew pub in the hood, Ferment Drink Repeat! 10 min drive to Bernal Heights where there are some more restaurants, bars, and cute shops.
  • The hill is huge. If you have a lot of heavy luggage, you may need a car. Everything else was good. The host was very careful to relax and the two cats were so cute.

  • We had a great time at Michelle’s house! Her house is super cute and we loved the location. It was quiet, scenic and had easy accesss to other parts of the city. We were very comfortable and Michelle was super accommodating. It was a nice peaceful place to return to after a busy day in the city. Michelle is an awesome host. We hope to stay again next time we come to San Francisco!

    Nicole2020-02-25T00:00:00Z
  • michelle's place was lovely! It has artsy touches and it feels cozy and comfortable. We had everything we needed and felt at ease and inspired in her family friendly space. it was not in the hustle and bustle of downtown SF but close enough by car to go anywhere and 10-15 min away from the airport. We met briefly in the am and she was very sweet, approachable and genuine! Would definitely recommend! ~River

  • The additional mattress was only equipped with a thin layer of blankets, which was not found during the day, and at night it was directly frozen to death because of no heater. In the end, it would only be one night. In addition, the landlord got up very early. She wrote it herself. It was true. If you need to get up late, please consider carefully.

Cozy up in the love seat by a TV with Roku 3, Hulu, and Netflix. This 3rd-floor master suite delivers an eclectic family atmosphere, plus a deck with verdant vistas. The walk-in shower offers rain-dance mode, together with a view of Mount Sutro.
My master is a convenient, kitchenless suite on the 3rd floor of my house! You can come and go as you please. It also offers its own separate, luxury bathroom. (Please note 3rd floor - not terrible, but definitely 2 (two) flight of stairs walk up) STREET PARKING in the neighborhood is usually good (see below), there is no parking space with the unit. INDEPENDENT DECK overlooking yards/green spaces. WASHER/DRYER available for your use on same floor. UCSF only 4 blocks away.
Within a 5-minute stroll is the heart of the Inner Sunset, with numerous restaurants, cafes, and bakeries to browse. Then feed the brain at the DeYoung Museum and the California Academy of Sciences, before exploring the park all the way to the ocean.
  • I loved staying here. The bed was very comfortable. Blackout curtains are always a good idea. The bathroom is stunning and spacious. The view and the deck are just fantastic. The neighborhood was super charming and close to some great restaurants and lots of parks. Having access to laundry is great. A kitchenette is all we needed. I mean, I'd live here.

    Liz2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • Kelly was a super helpful and understanding host! The place was spotless and very stylish, even better in person than in the photos. Kelly offered complete privacy yet was quick to answer any questions or concerns. My guest and I walked about 2 blocks from the place and found an amazing ramen place (Ushi Taro), unique pin shop (Oriental Art Gallery), and even visited the Green Apple bookstore, all of which were within a 10 minute walking distance. The outside deck was also very convenient for my guest to enjoy late at night while I slept. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable! Would book again!

    Natalie2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • This stylish modern unit is well-described in the listing and other reviews. It is quiet; the bed is very comfortable; it was perfectly clean. I'll just mention a few things I didn't notice in other reviews that may be important to some people. 1. The unit is up two flights of stairs from the street. 2. The kitchenette just has a microwave, small refrigerator, coffee maker and electric kettle. 3. The forced-air heat is loud, and is controlled from Kelly's apartment. When we were there the controls did not work properly, despite Kelly's best efforts. I suggest checking with Kelly that it has been fixed, and clearly communicating your wishes. If you'd rather not have the heat come on when you're sleeping, let Kelly know. 4. The mechanism that raises and lowers the blinds on the sliding glass door to the balcony was broken. Replacement parts were on order. I suggest checking with Kelly that it has been fixed.

  • Great place! Very quiet and comfortable. So nice to stay in a neighborhood vs. downtown on business. Can walk to a market, coffee shop, and restaurants. Imagine falling asleep to the sound of crashing waves. This clean, quiet garden apartment is perfect for the nature loving city dweller. Steps from the beach, Golden Gate Park, the Zoo and more. Ample street parking and MUNI train 2 blocks away.
Private in-law apartment offering 2 beautifully decorated, clean and comfortable rooms. The bedroom includes a queen bed with crisp linens a down comforter, warm wool rug, beautiful art and closet and dresser for your belongings. The second room is a living space with a couch that converts to a full bed, a separate comfortable reading chair and lamp. The 42" flat screen is equipped with Apple TV and high speed wireless internet. The kitchenette is fully stocked with pots, pans and dishes. A microwave, toaster oven, electric kettle, 5 cup coffee maker, electric induction counter top range and small fridge complete the kitchen and make it operational for light cooking. Complimentary coffee, tea and a bottle of wine offered to all guests. The private bathroom is small but bright and clean with shower over tub, complementary shampoo, conditioner and body wash provided. The private garden has a bistro table making it a perfect spot for morning coffee while listening to the waves and surrounded by beautiful plants and flowers. Ample, free street parking available in the neighborhood.
The "outerlands" as this area of the city used to be called is where nature meets urban, widely and wonderfully. Families, surfers, artists, hipsters, techies and eccentrics come together to create a multicultural neighborhood that is dominated by the ocean and the sky! Really I think the Sunset District is San Francisco's best kept secret. It is clean and safe and quiet at night. You are about a half hour from the hustle and bustle of downtown (by car or public transport). Out here the streets are wider, the backyards bigger, and free parking is easy to find. People who like the outdoors love the location, especially for surfing, jogging, cycling, and hiking. Typically the Sunset can be foggy in June and July, but is clear and beautiful most of the rest of the year. Fall is stellar. Yearly temperatures hover in the 60-65 degrees. Golden Gate Park is only 4 blocks north and is filled with absolutely everything you can imagine: free concerts, archery ranges, entertainment pools, beautiful gardens, a bison paddock, polo field, duck ponds, and everything that you could possibly imagine! Including, The Academy of Science Museum, De Young art museum, and Japanese Tea Garden, The Arboretum and Conservatory of Flowers, plus great hiking, running and biking trails. We're also a popular destination for marathon participants and concert-goers, with events nearby like Bay to Breakers, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass Festival, and Outside Lands. There is a beautiful 5 mile walking path directly across from my home. It spans from Sloat Blvd. to the Cliff House/Sutro Baths. Popular restaurants include: Thanh Long, Outerlands, Cliff House, Beach Chalet & Brewery, Celia's Mexican Restaurant, Sunset Reservoir Brewery Company, Devils Teeth Bakery, Andy Town Coffee shop, Java Beach Café and many more. Great choice of shops selling locally made surfboards, jewelry and art... The Last Straw, San Franpsyco apparel, Establish and The General Store just to name a few.

My room was cozy tiny but the price was right and it was just me so I have no complaints. Bathroom was clean and stocked with soap, etc. MAYBE a kuerig in the entryway would be a nice touch? THIS ROOM IS FOR SINGLE OCCUPANCY ONLY. This room faces the street and has a queen-sized bed (memory foam), desk w/ chair, and closet. THERE IS A NOISE from passing traffic. !! PLEASE DO NOT book this room if you are a light sleeper and are disturbed by the San Francisco’s passing cars and street noise. There are 3 large windows that let in plenty of sunshine, but shades to block out the sun.
Our place has 4Bedrooms/2 Bathrooms and is in the heart of the Mission, which is San Francisco’s oldest neighborhood and has plenty of new restaurants and galleries. 3 of the rooms are available on Airbnb.
Boasting some of the best weather in the city, the Mission District takes advantage of an abundance of fog-free days. New restaurants and night spots are a draw while Mission Dolores, 16th and Dolores streets, is the oldest structure in San Francisco. Many of the city’s pioneers are buried in an adjacent cemetery. The largest concentration of murals in the city adorn buildings, fences and walls throughout the district. Everything is easily accessible: restaurants, museums, waterfront, shopping -- plus so much more this amazing city has to offer. We're just a short walk to the Castro, Noe Valley, Bernal Heights, and all the nightlife of SoMa. With two BART stations, easy access to the rest of the city, wide bike paths and a rich arts and food culture, it’s easy to see why the Mission is appealing to longtime
  • Nice house that is modern. Bed was comfortable. Great value for the price paid. It does face the street so bring ear plugs or use the sound machine provided. Thanks for hosting.

    Lee2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is very well located, only several minutes from a Bart station and it locates in the center of mission district. You don't feel that safe with many homeless people on the street as many parts in SF. The room is as described and warm with a small heater. As mentioned in the description, the room has large windows by the street. So light sleeper will have trouble. Pete was super responsive and nice.

You'll love this listing! This is a cozy private room w/ queen memory foam bed (& twin air mattress), personal massage chair, & TV w/ free Prime Video & Disney+. You'll have access to kitchen (fridge, microwave, stove/oven, dishes, coffee, etc.) & 2 bathrooms (shared w/ other guests). Free/easy street parking. Be a quick 14 min drive from SFO, 3 min walk to T train (takes you downtown, AT&T Park, Chase Center), and a 13 min drive to downtown. You'll have great access to all of SF!
Please note that while your rooms are 100% private with a lock on it that only you will have, you will be sharing the kitchen and two bathrooms with three other Airbnb rooms. This is part of the fun though as you can meet different people from around the world who are staying here with you. Access to the kitchen and bathrooms is usually fine as most people spend the majority of their time out and about in the city, but sometimes during peak travel times you may feel the house being a little more full. So to be very clear, you will see several other Airbnb guests in the home who are living close to you (the nature of such a dense city as San Francisco) and sharing the kitchen and bathrooms, but as you can see in the reviews that my guests have loved their time here as people are usually very friendly and respectful. Also please note that the skylight above you is the only window access in this room. We live in one of the best areas in San Francisco for parking. Most places you'll need to pay for parking or drive around for a while looking, but on my block there is free parking and you'll usually be able to park right by my house. The only time it'll be a little harder is late at night but even then you should be able to find a spot within a block or two.
  • Loved staying here!! Everything was really clean and the bathrooms were easily accessible, no matter how many people were in the home. Really cool experience meeting the other guest who were staying also. House was in a great location and I would highly recommend staying here.

Relax in this quaint gem that has been renovated with privacy and luxury in mind. Carefully selected decor and amenities lend an elegant yet classic look to the space. Explore the surrounding area, head to the beach, or visit Golden Gate Park nearby.
Oh... and did I mention the location? Nestled in the trendy Outer Sunset District you will find maximum convenience. Here for a conference or special event? Runner? Cyclist? Surfer? Need to park a car? Out on vacation? There's a little something for everyone. The N-Judah MUNI line runs a quarter block from the unit. Close enough to get out and go and just far enough where you won't hear it. It will take you across the whole city through downtown/financial district/AT&T Park. Less than five minutes' walk to the west you're at Ocean Beach or north you're in Golden Gate Park. Outer Sunset has become quite its own identity over the years. Trendy restaurants sit next to old school hole-in-the-wall spots that have stood the test of time. I'm a third generation San Franciscan and have lived all over the city and I must say Outer Sunset has more of a district pride feel than anywhere I've lived. Feel free to reach out during your stay if you need anything or want some recommendations. Amenities: Private entrance Free Street parking WIFI Queen sized memory foam bed - blow-up mattress available on request Couch Washer/Dryer Extra sheets and blankets Smart 55-Inch Samsung TV where you can log in and watch your favorite Netflix, Amazon, Hulu, HBO shows Modern Bathroom - Body Soap, Shampoo, Hair Dryer, Towels, Iron Full Kitchen - microwave, toaster, Keurig coffee machine, garbage disposal, feel free to ask if there's anything you need that's not in stock Welcome Book with local recommendations, public transportation tips, running routes Close to unique stores, killer coffee spots, amazing food Close to the beach, Golden Gate Park, Lands End, the Zoo Quick public transportation to the center of the city 20-30 minute drive from SFO Pleasantly accommodates two with a max of three people Feel free to reach out if you need anything or if I can make your stay more pleasant. I'm new at this so any suggestions you have would be greatly appreciated. Enjoy San Francisco while you're here... I'm utterly biased but I do think it's one of the greatest cities we have! Thanks, Tyler
Nestled in the trendy Outer Sunset District, this spot offers maximum convenience. Whether you're a runner, cyclist, surfer, in town for a conference or special event, or just visiting, there's a little something for everyone.

  • My husband and I came to San Francisco to celebrate Valentine’s Day and my 30th birthday. Our original reservation was cancelled due to some technicalities. Tyler’s home was offered and in hindsight worked out better than our original booking. The home was so cute and cozy. We enjoyed the decor and the amenities. Tyler was a very thoughtful and considerate host. One of the most notable things is the cleanliness. Everything was clean and smelled so fresh. The home is located near all the cute restaurants and stores in town. We definitely recommend this home. We had such an amazing time bringing on my 30th birthday. Thank you Tyler!

    Ashley2020-02-16T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed staying at Tyler's place. Perfect location for us in the Outer Sunet neighborhood-walkable to the beach a number of good places to eat/shop. Would definitely stay here again-thanks Tyler!

  • This place is fantastic, in a great location close to the park and beach. It's just as pictured, well furnished, clean, and comfortable. Tyler is a great host, he provided a nice notebook with tips for the area and is very responsive to all communication. It was raining while we were there, so glad to find an umbrella to use in the closet - he really tries to provide every thing to assist his guests. Would stay again if return to SF.

You'll love this listing w/ your breathtaking balcony! Comes w/ 2 rooms, personal massage chair, memory foam mattresses, TV w/ free Prime Video & Disney+, full kitchen (fridge, microwave, stove/oven), 2 bathrooms (shared w/ other guests), free/easy street parking, easy access from SFO (14min drive) & downtown SF (15min drive, 3min walk to T Muni line to downtown). The smaller second room (w/ full bed) is connected to and accessed through larger front room (w/ queen & twin bed & futon).
All of the beds are memory foam and very comfortable! You're two bedrooms are connected, and you will need to go through one to get to the other from the balcony or to the kitchen and bathrooms (as seen in the pictures). So these are not two fully separate bedrooms. You also have a space heater in your room so that you can control your temperature. Whether you are coming in the summer or the winter, you will enjoy the weather here in San Francisco as it is usually between 60 and 75 degrees, making your balcony a very enjoyable experience all year round. There is nothing better than after a day of enjoying the sites to be able to come back and sit under the stars and see the beautiful views of SF on a back deck! We live in one of the best areas in San Francisco for parking. Most places you'll need to pay for parking or drive around for a while looking, but on my block there is free parking and you'll usually be able to park right by my house. The only time it'll be a little harder is late at night but even then you should be able to find a spot within a block or two.
Your stay will be in the Bayview District. It's a historic community with a lot of amazing character and people. You can look up more info online if you'd like to learn more.
  • We stayed for three nights and had a good time. Communication and check-in were excellent and easy, everything was very clean all the time!

    Jan2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Staying here was an absolute perfect situation. We preferred an Uber into the city, but it was close enough where this wasn't an issue / expensive at all. Kryslyn and Sean were extremely helpful and responsive, and the place was professionally run, able to cater easily to a full-house of guests, and we had no issues whatsoever. Amazing view on that backporch. Definitely worth staying if you're looking to stay in San Fran without breaking the bank!

  • My boyfriend and I had a short trip to San Fransisco. This Air BnB was perfect for us. The location was no longer than 20-25 minutes from anywhere we wanted to visit. The home was clean and we felt safe being there. The home was shared with others but it was still quiet and comfortable. If we venture back to San Fran we’d book this place again in a heart beat.

  • Budi is a kindness person, and we prayed together and got a good fellowship in his house. The parking lot is more convenient and I found some good foods and Chinese restaurant around his house. I like it. Budi is a very friendly person, Easy parking and delicious Chinese food around!

    Sarah Joy2020-02-26T00:00:00Z
  • Thank you, Budi. Perfect location near Golden Gate Park and Golden Gate Bridge. The room is big and the bed was wonderful. Sheets, pillows, covers were high quality and so very soft. Slept wonderfully. Parking was splendid. Budi was attentive and very kind. Pat sat down for breakfast with us and told us where to go and what to look out for. We forgot a toy under the sheets. Budi texted me about it and will be mailing out. My son loves that little dragon! How thoughtful of them to keep it and contact me rather than throw it away. Just an example of the kind of people Budi and Pat are. Lovely, kind souls.

  • it's like a hotel. the place is so convenient to go to the any hot spot. I want to go back there.

    Ryuichi2020-02-12T00:00:00Z
  • Just remember the room 316, reminds me John 3:16. Seems the cheapest room that you can get in the downtown. A life saving for all of you like me who come to the US and start as an immigrant. I booked the room for 41 days and exactly a week before I checked out I got a job offer and start to move to nearby my office location. What amazed me is the price, no other can beat for this room, unit 316. With such a great location in downtown just a 1 minute walk to union square and close to everything, Bart station, shopping center, you name it, I have no any complaint. I can't figure out why the other rooms has much higher price than this one. But it would be different topic. Good luck!

**COVID 19 Update: Studio is professionally disinfected after each guest** (See below) Our downstairs studio is like a hotel room with its own entrance, a kitchenette, bathroom and a comfy bed. Our home is close to public transportation and lots of shops, restaurants and parks. It is near the lively Mission district and quaint Cortland Ave. There is easy access to 80, 101 and 280 if you're driving south or east. Its best for 1 or 2 people. A small dog is okay, but there is no outdoor area.
COVID 19 Precautions: After each guest, all hard surfaces are disinfected (shower walls, floors, glass, handles, showerhead, shelf, mirror, bottles, toilet, tile floors in bathroom, kitchen counter, appliances, sink, faucet, doorknobs, tabletops). All dishes and silverware are removed and washed in the dishwasher and replaced. All bedding (including pillows, blankets and bedspreads), towels and rugs are removed, washed in hot water and replaced. We do not know of any direct contact with any person who has COVID-19 and we have not had any information that says we are in anything but a low-risk area. * * * March 2020 The studio is about the size of a small hotel room, with a queen size bed, smart TV you can watch your own streaming service on, breakfast table and chair, a side chair. There is a closet for your use. The kitchenette includes an under-counter refrigerator, sink, and microwave, as well as an electric kettle and a French press coffee maker. We provide coffee and tea for you to make yourself. There are glasses, mugs, plates and bowls. There is silverware, a can opener, a bottle opener. We provide granola, oatmeal and some light snacks or breakfast items. The shower and toilet are each behind a wall for privacy, and there is a heavy curtain separating the bathroom from the studio. There is a door for the toilet. However, the bathroom is not a completely separate room, so the studio is best for people who are comfortable with one another. Our studio is cozy and quiet, and with the curtain pulled to cover the glass entry door, it is quite private. There is no outdoor space. There is a smart TV and you can sign into your own streaming TV service.
Our home is in Bernal Heights. We are on the North-West corner, and our home has a view of both Twin Peaks and Downtown, although there is not a view from the studio. Bernal Heights is hilly, with great views, some steep streets, stairways and tiny parks tucked into side streets. From the park at the top of our hill, there is a 360-degree view of the City, including the bay, the Bay Bridge, the Golden Gate bridge, Twin Peaks, Downtown, Mt Diablo and south to the airport. During baseball season and at the 4th of July, fireworks are often visible from our hill. There is a very sweet commercial street with restaurants, shops and a library. Several parks are nearby for strolling, playing, picnicking and dogs. Our neighborhood is south of the Mission neighborhood, but still within walking distance of the lively nightlife there. It is quieter and cleaner than some of the Mission streets, but not so far from the center that anything is difficult to get to. Bernal Heights was voted America's Hottest Neighborhood in 2014 on the real estate site Redfin: (URL HIDDEN)
  • Angela’s place is located on a quiet street in the cutest neighborhood. It has lots of thoughtful touches and perfect for a solo traveler or an intimate couple. You can hear some movement from above, but it was not bothersome to us. I also enjoyed how clean the space was. I would definitely return here.

    Taylor2020-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • Beautiful and comfortable place in Bernal heights with some great views. Great value for SF. Not great if you want to cook full meals or have trouble with hills and don’t want to drive or take ubers. Otherwise highly recommended!

    Elizabeth2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • Angela’s place was perfect for me and my boyfriends quick vacation to the city. It was super charming and the location was amazing. The layout was super efficient and the bed was soooo comfortable. We had no trouble parking and could easily walk to some of our favorite restaurants/bars in the mission district. Angela was extremely helpful and was quick to respond to any questions we had. We would definitely love to stay there again!

    Kristin2020-02-20T00:00:00Z
  • Angela's place was spotless, tasteful, easy to check in and out of, and thoughtful at every turn. I highly recommend this spot. The only things I wish were different was the noise from above (footsteps woke me early in the morning) and a very odd smell that permeated the room a bit in the early morning as well. Not enough to keep me from recommending it though. Too many great touches and thoughtful amenities.

    Warren2020-02-19T00:00:00Z
  • The apartment is stylish and clean, and the local area (Bernal Heights) is really nice with some nice restaurants, cafes and shops. Angela’s local tips are excellent and I would recommend trying some of the restaurants and places that she mentions. The only downside for me was that it’s quite hard to get fresh air into the apartment without leaving the front door open, and there isn’t much natural light. Apart from that, I loved my stay!

    Claudia2020-02-15T00:00:00Z
  • We LOVED staying here! The area was great! The studio was spotless! We loved the atmosphere! The only problem we had was the upstairs tenants. We could hear almost every word they said, ever step they took, and ever loud thing they dropped! I am a very light sleeper so they woke me up many times throughout the night. The area was fantastic the studio had GREAT ideas for places to go! The studio was EXTREMELY clean and decorated so stylishly! We loved our stay! If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs :) !!!! I highly recommend this place!

    Caroline2020-02-10T00:00:00Z
  • Loved my stay here. Travel to SF frequently for work and will be back! Quiet neighborhood but Cortland St. is an easy walk, and the Mission is close as well.

  • This is a lovely place. Phil and Su are great. They are easy to communicate and very thoughtful with details and recommendations for their visitors. This is for sure a nice place to go.

  • We had a wonderful time at Phil and Su’s place. It was comfortable and peaceful and had everything we needed. We hope to make it our regular place whenever we come to SF. We especially loved the location just up the hill from West Portal, a charming small neighborhood where we went for breakfast every day (and some lunches). We felt almost instantly at home here. We used to live in San Francisco and fell in love with it again on this visit thanks to our great experience at this air B and B.

  • I had such a lovely stay at Phil & Su! The location is fantastic. The commute to my office in FiDi was very easy. The area is safe and clean (unlike some of SF). The place looks great and has all the amenities you might need. Shops, restaurants nearby. I had no car and everything was easy to reach. Hosts are very responsive, but you have your privacy. The bed was the most comfortable. I would definitely stay here again. :)

  • An awesome find in a great location. The place is clean and comes with all the amenities needed for a short stay in the city. The neighborhood is very quite but only a short Uber ride downtown. If I ever need short term accommodations in the city, I would be happy to stay here again.
