Amazing location right near The Old Town. It's at a bit of a hike up from the street but it's not so bad. Emina was incredibly cooperative and helpful. Will stay here again if I am ever again in Sarajevo.

Perfect location, literally in the middle of everything and every taxi driver in Sarajevo knows where the place is so it’s always super easy to get home! Just a few minutes walk to everywhere! I especially like Mirza's apartment. It is very artistic and decorated with care. It is the best looking apartment I have ever stayed in. The location of the apartment is also great, close to attractions such as the Latin Bridge, the Yellow Fort, and the cable cars. The important brother is very handsome and very enthusiastic. The house is awesome. It ’s a 5 minute walk from the Latin bridge. We arrived at night by car. The landlord found a parking space for us. It was very attentive and the room was fully equipped and new. Due to my negligence, I did n’t check the check out time. I rushed back for lunch outside and delayed the landlord to clean the room. I am very sorry. The landlord also politely asked us to pay more attention in the future and did not hold us accountable. Thank you very much. If I return to Sarajevo, I will continue to choose this house. Stay comfortably.

This was the best Airbnb I have ever stayed in. The apartment was beautiful and adorned everywhere with plants and elegant interior design while also being extremely comfortable. The location was very convenient to everything you need in Sarajevo (just a few minutes down some stairs to the pedestrian shopping district- Baščaršija). It is literally steps away from amazing restaurants, bakeries, and landmarks. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything I needed for nights I stayed in, and there was even a washing machine (which is a huge plus and not easy to find in apartments in Sarajevo). Adnan's communication was incredibly quick and thoughtful. He even gave me a birthday present of traditional Bosnian sweets! I wish I could live in this apartment forever. It was like a fairy-tale :)

Large area, great cost performance! It is said to be a former British embassy with facilities. Excellent location, close to several attractions, just a few minutes walk. The host's younger brother is very nice. In short, this homestay makes a living. One more suggestion for the landlord, you can change the ceiling light bulbs in the living room and bedroom to white, all yellow, and the lights are dim

The house is very large and beautiful. Everything is inside. The location is very good. The next stairs are very convenient to go to the old town.

Adnan's place is an apartment previously used by the British Embassy in Sarajevo. It's a big lounge with high ceilings and very spacious even for 4 or 5 people (although due to the size and number of beds 4 adults is an optimum, with additional bed for toddlers included). Apartment is at the very nice location, in a quiet street uphill, with long staircase leading straight to the main city zone. It's a 3 minute walk down the stairs and across the busy street before you reach main pedestrian area Ferhadija. Yet, for someone with disability or health problem it might be a bit trickier to come up the stairs by foot. Luckily, there is a street taking you the same direction uphill, either by foot or by car/taxi. The street parking space right in front of the apartment costs 5 EUR per day if payed to the guy who is in charge of the parking lot. If you don't want to pay, there is a street starting 100m away from the premises where parking is free, but obviously due to this it's a bit trickier to find space. The apartment is very nice, spacious and bright with all the commodities that you might need for several days of stay. Every single household device was new and functional. The apartment was clean and well prepared, with additional snacks, light breakfast, coffees and teas waiting for us. There are multiple air conditioners on the premises, one in each of three rooms, that can be used for heating or cooling. Additionally, there is an electric heather there too, and in the winter time when we visited it was necessary to use all of them to keep the apartment warm. Adnan was very kind and professional, replying within few minutes to the messages, waiting for us at the premises and providing all the necessary information and help. I'd recommend this apartment to every group of people planning to stay for several days in Sarajevo. It's especially suitable for couples traveling together or a family with up to 5 members.

This was a great spot! Great location but a little tricky to find. So glad I was met there to be given the key. Great communication and really fast. Only thing that would be nice is a few things in the house such as coffee/tea.. When staying for a short trip and not bringing that stuff with you it would be a great touch. Plus, it was hard to find a coffee place open earlier than 8 or 9 am :) Hosts were great and helped out with some suggestions on where to go.

Very easy and fast communication with Samir. The apartment has the perfect location, 2 min from Baščaršija, still the neighborhood is quiet and calm. The view from the apartment is absolutely magnificent! Highly recommended!

The best Airbnb ever!!! I guess should be rated as 5 star Hotel! The apt is huge...kitchen with all Appliances and not forget the tea & coffee supplies included...yes also bottle of water. Comfy bed and 5 star bed linen. The bathroom is clean and spotless nicely! You have a choice of at least 10 body wash and shampoo :)) Haris is not only the best host but a super friendly guy! Best homestay throughout the trip! Haris was very attentive from check-in until we left. We waited for us at the door very early and came to pick us up to help us with our luggage and taxi. He crashed my suitcase at the airport and he helped me affix it. The entire room was also great and well equipped. Attractions are within walking distance.

The Amena department has all the comforts one can expect. It is equipped with even the smallest detail The location is 700 meters from the historic center of Sarajevo on a hill which allows you to have a view of much of the city P On the other hand they are always willing to help in everything one might need, even in the smallest details.

A very nice apartment with good information about the area. The uphill walk from the center is very picturesque. However, it is a bit steep at some parts and might be difficult for some people.

Amina and Nedzad are great hosts! Nedzad waited for us at the airport when we arrived, and took to the accomodation. During this 20 minutes trip he showed the most relevant stuff including exchange, recommended restaurants, nearby shops and told about the monuments of the city. We could count on his help later in everything, including on the transfer. The accomodation is located in a peacent street up the hill which is nicely furnished and satisfying every need. Amina and her husband are great hosts. They reply quickly to all kind of inquiries, they show up as soon as they can if you need something. They live right next door but they respect a lot your privacy. The apartment is 15 mins from Bascarsija by walking, up on a hill. The place is very quite.

Very attentive host, apartment perfectly clean and well equipped. Near the Park Princeva restaurant where we ate very well at very cheap and with outstanding service. If it was again, we would stay more than one night I recommend it

My husband and I spent four weeks in this apartment and it was so nice for a long stay. The view is great, the kitchen has everything you need, the bed is very comfortable. The hosts, Velid and Amila, were very helpful to us and communicated well throughout our stay. Yes, there are a lot of stairs, but that didn’t bother us a bit since we only went out one or two times per day. We really liked being in this area of the city - it is near the part of the river that is nicest for walking or jogging. Good stores and restaurants in this neighborhood too. The wifi was good - fast enough to stream, although the upload speed was on the slow side (we understand this is common in Sarajevo). We definitely recommend!

We had a good stay here in Sarajevo. Location is good, easily walkable from the train/bus station and an enjoyable walk into the old town, about 30 minutes. Lots of good bars, restaurants and cafes very close by, and a grocery store just at the corner. The place is large and comfortable. Kitchen is well equipped, bathroom is clean, and the balcony was very nice, great views. I highly recommend!

The landlord was very enthusiastic. We took a taxi from the bus station to the door of the famous hotel. The landlord was already waiting for us. We warmly helped us with the luggage and told us how to use the room items. The landlord was still very large and practical. The table where the toiletries are placed is too small, and the shampoo can only be placed on the ground, but these do not affect, the room is exactly the same as the picture, the bed is very soft, the quilt is a double quilt, and finally it is not in a single person. The air conditioner is very warm. It is very pleasant to enter the balcony for a small cup of coffee at night. The landlord lives next door, so that we can always ask for it, the sofa is very comfortable, and there is a big closet, which can hang up the coat. 7 minutes from the Latin Bridge, it is very convenient to go to all the attractions

Edin's house is very comfortable! The traffic is also very convenient! The only shortage of places to visit the various attractions of the ancient city is that we have not found a place to eat breakfast nearby! Fortunately, there is a supermarket nearby to solve it.

Communicate smoothly with the landlord, but also a simple chat, the landlord is just fine. Since there is no washing machine in the house, we also wash the clothes and dry them. The location is not in the city center. It takes a few minutes to walk to the central area. It is a bit inconvenient. It is recommended that Sarajevo live in the old city center and it will be much more convenient. But the house is nice

Debi is a wonderful host and communication was punctual and prompt! Space is exactly as it is described! Clean, safe and easy to get to (it’s in a semi-narrow hill so for older ones might be a bit of a challenge to walk back up). Otherwise it’s on a great location, minutes to all interesting spots. I would definitely come back to Debi’s place!

Great space in a fantastic location! We loved being able to walk to the old market on less than ten minutes. The walk back was a bit challenging up the hill, but doable! The apartment itself was well furnished, plenty of space and beds. The kitchen also had plenty of tools to help with meals. Having a washing machine was a big plus with all the restaurants allowing smoking, we came home every day smelling like smoke! There is no parking included, we were able to find street parking, and again, the hills and stairs require a bit of athleticism so just come prepared!

What a beautiful space! Smirna's grandparents welcomed me in, showed me around and made me some coffee and cakes to help me settle in - so kind. It was lovely to see them when I was popping in and out of the apartment from sightseeing, they'd always greet me and try and communicate with little English! The space is beautiful, the garden is lovely. My only note is that people are right about the hill - it's 45 degrees! Haha. So it is a leg workout :-) I liked it a lot, but if you're not a fan of hiking then just keep this in mind - taxis from town to here are also really cheap so it's not a problem! Amazing stay overall.

Smirna's grandparents are very kind and considerate (the cat is nice but bites to play, watch out), the house is immaculate and the view of the city from the top of the hill is beautiful. Just a little bit, the hill in question is very steep so prefer bus 59a which passes right next to the house and goes to the Latin bridge via Skenderija. Very nice stay in Sarajevo!

Smirna’s apartment is a traditional apartment under her grandparents’ house in a suburb of Sarajevo up a steep hill to the south of the city. We were greeted by Smirna’s grandparents with a nice cup of coffee, they are (as all the other reviews say) lovely despite not being able to speak any English (they have a few words of German I think). The apartment is quite spacious and while simply furnished has what you need; there is reasonable Wi-Fi and lots of guidebooks and information about this fascinating city. Other people have spoken of the steepness of the hill, roads in that part of Sarajevo can be quite literally as steep as staircases and this is no exception. Driving up the hill is not for the faint hearted (I did it once!), if coming by car I’d plot a route to come into the street from above (the South) or leave it at the bottom of the hill and walk up. When you are there use taxis to get back, they cost around €3-4 from the town centre. This apartment was really incredible value and such lovely people, in a lovely city.

Smirna Grand parents make every think to let you feel comfortable at your arriving ... Thé appartement is around 15 minutes of walk from the down town ... The slope road is always around 45 degrees, it’s your daily exercise, then you feel so nice once you arrive appartment ... If ever you arrive late, little cat wait for you certainly ...he is very lovely and part of the family ...:) You can go back home by walk, you can also call a taxi like I did once I come back home late .. Happy staying and happy vacation in Sarajevo

Smirna and grands parents take care of you, like if you are part of family ... The garden is wonderful, added to Bosnian coffee, grand mom will maybe spoil you with fresh vegetable :) You stay at 15 minutes walk from the down town, to go back, you will make your exercice, the road slop is around 45 degrees ...and it’s nice to walk .. You can also take taxi over the night.. For whom like jogging, the parc in the entry of the down town, beside the river (you can’t missed) is a wonderful place to do, with other people around ... Oh I am not forgot the cat who wish you well come every night... That was my story .. Enjoy your stay

Perfect place for a few days!

The house was very nice and clean in a beautiful area of Sarajevo but a bit hard to get there because it is steep up the mountain. The host was very friendly and brought us a bosnian coffee for welcoming!

And there is a long history of his family that you must want to hear about (he should open a museum for it )! More importantly, the apartment is very close to the largest shopping center where you can easily exchange money and is in walking distance to the old town. Definitely No.1 apartment in Sarajevo! Don't hesitate to book it! The landlord brother is super handsome and friendly, and their family has a long history. Trouble Chinese friends, chat with him more, he will be quite happy!

Vesna’s place is just amazing. The room is much more spacious than I expected, with a small balcony overlooking the street. It has vintage interior decorations, which make me feel back in time. The house is just steps away from the biggest shopping centre (SCC) in Sarajevo. Vesna’s son Darko greet me with great hospitality and helped me out when my charger doesn’t work. I really enjoyed my stay here. Thank you for making Sarajevo more beautiful :D

This was a cozy stay that seems to be an airbnb. I think the best part is that you can stay at home, but this was the most important concept ever. It was very kind and smooth. One is especially recommended for people who like cats.

First of all the location is good, you can walk to the city center. The house is very comfortable, just like your own home. It is also very convenient for Chinese people to cook, and has complete kitchenware. There are free parking spaces, washing machines and dryers. The landlord kept booing and felt warm. If you come to Sarajevo, you must choose this place. Because the house is halfway up the hill, climbing to some people may not be very friendly. But we all lived happily. highly recommended.

Excellent experience! We made a last minute decision the day before to stay the night in Sarajevo and although Drenka was away, she provided detailed instructions for finding the apartment. Communication is prompt and Drenka was both helpful and accommodating, well deserving her "Superhost" designation. She kindly allowed us to check out later, so we were able to explore the city a little longer. The house (more than an apartment!) has a lot of space, is super clean and very well equipped throughout, with plenty of towels, a fully equipped kitchen and many thoughtful touches. Truly a home from home! The view from the balcony on the top floor is wonderful! We enjoyed a bath in the jacuzzi and that was a real treat; it is big enough for two! : ) All the positive reviews are richly deserved. We would definitely return to stay with friends or family. Great apartment, actually much better than the photos. The house has a lot of space. Most surprisingly, each room is independent. Especially the toilet. Very good, dry and wet isolated. Yuba is the most comfortable I've used in Eastern European countries. The room location is also very good, there are bars, supermarkets, cafes when going out. Not too far from the old town on foot. It is more convenient to have navigation. The room was quiet and it was particularly comfortable for two consecutive nights. Chinese compatriots are highly recommended. Is a nice place. Great value for money, ha ha ha. Thanks to the owner.

Emina’s apartment is even better than in the pictures! When you actually come to see it in real life, it is even more beautiful ‘cause of the many special touches, decor, smells and that home-feeling. We immediately felt like we’re home and we were sad when we had to leave! The apartment has everything you need, it is located close to the city centre and the communication and Eminas hospitality is also wonderful. She responded very quickly and was open to any questions. I am already looking forward to renting the place again, because it made my trip so much more relaxing! It is the most beautiful and best equipped place we’ve all been to. :)

We had a perfect stay at Emina's appartment. Emina is a very friendly host and gave us a warm welcome. The large apartment was perfectly clean and the beds were nice and soft! The location is fine, 3 nice restaurants in the neighbourhood and 20 min walk to the touristic part. We are travelling a lot with airbnb and a think that this apartment is one of the best!

Emina’s apartment is bigger than it looks. It’s a fantastic, clean and comfortable apartment with everything you need. Emina was so helpful and went above and beyond what is expected from an Airbnb host. A truly wonderful stay, don’t look past this apartment.

The rooms are clean, comfortable, safe, and cost-effective. There is a supermarket next to the restaurant. The disadvantage is that it is not easy to drag suitcases at the entrance of the unit building.

Location is near to the shoping center, about 500 m , but you still need to be ready for walk since it’s little bit uphill. Apartment is very nice and very comfortable, there is more space than I expected. Very clean and quiet. If I could stay longer, definitely I would be happy to do so.

It was our second Airbnb in this apartment and I must say it was even better than our first experience (which was already really good). This apartment is ideally located in the center of Sarajevo, less than 5 minutes by foot from the Airport bus terminus. Ramya and hers relatives where welcoming and helping. A nice flat right next to the old town with easy access to everything you could want in Sarajevo. Belma was a great host and really accommodating when our flight was delayed with really quick communication. The apartment was clean and spacious with a great view out over the city from the main bedroom. The only slight negative was that there were no curtains in the bedrooms - otherwise the perfect stay and would happily go back next time we’re in the city.

We had a great 3-night stay at Belma's place! If you're visiting the city for the first time, or will only be there to explore for a few days, this location could not be better. It is just minutes away from the Old City on foot. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. The only issue we had during our stay was the internet wasn't working well, but other reviews say it is normally working just fine, so it could have been an anomaly. Even so, Belma was responsive and helpful in trying to get it back online, and throughout the entire stay she was very friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Would definitely recommend her and her place!

Belma is a phenomenal host. The location of the apartment is superb, only 3 minutes away (up the stairs to Sebille). The apartment itself has a wonderful view from the bedroom to the place itself. Warm, clean, friendly place for 2 couples. Parking is on the street, in front of the house.

A lovely, clean apartment in a great location so close to the old town. Belma was a marvellous host; so friendly and helpful. There weren't curtains in the bedroom though.

Belma is very friendly & she met us at the road by the house. She let us check in early & was very responsive most of the time. Location is top notch, a minute walk to Bascarsijski. Tons of bakeries & restaurants all round, supermarket is just behind. The place is spacious & white, view from the master room is breathtaking, do note that there are no curtains so bring your eye mask if are sensitive to light. Toiletries & kitchen are fully equipped. Only thing is the towels has a lot of cat/dog hair on it.

I guess Aida is an artist because the apartment is very beautiful and romantic. The apartment is very convenient and located at the city center. Aida is also a very good host. It will always be my first choice in Sarajevo.

The apartment is very charming, spotlessly clean, equipped with everything you could need. It is located on the third floor in a nice street, surrounded by pubs, everything is a few steps away, and yet it is quiet, the bed is comfortable, so a vacation is guaranteed! Aida left us instructions and recommendations, we tried a lot and it was really great! Aida was also very quick to respond to messages, giving us clear directions for getting to the accommodation, so everything went smoothly and hassle-free! Warm recommendations!

First of all I want to thank Aida for being a great host. Even though we did not officially meet ( however if the need arises, the option is available), I was thankful for the quick and detailed responses regarding the check in. The apartment itself is outstanding, with a very homey vibe and excellent appliances. All in all our stay at the apartment was more then we expected, extremely positive and without a hitch.

Perfect stay at Edin’s place. Communication was very fast, we show up a bit earlier than expected and Edin was there in 10 minutes. Location of apartment is great, peaceful and beautiful neighbourd, 40 min very pleasant walk near Miljacka river to the city center. Will recomend Edin place for all Sarajevo visitors.

The best Airbnb experience! The room was duplex, with furnishings and comfort far exceeding our expectations. The location of the house is very good, and the attractions you want to go are basically within 5-10 minutes, which is very convenient. The best is the landlord. The answers are very timely. The food recommended to us is very delicious and very tasteful. We took a bus to the station at five o'clock in the morning the last day, but because we did n’t know how to book a car, we asked the landlord for help. Our journey was very smooth. The accommodation was perfect, it is situated in the center of bascarsija, near the gazi husrev beg mosque. The apartment is very nice and has a very good equipment. It is very clean and stylish. I also loved the wooden suspended ceiling, which is nice and makes good acoustics. Amila and Ervin are very nice and helpful. The communication was very good. I really recommend this apartment for sarajevo and will certainly return.

All within 100m of the apartment, you’re surrounded by bakeries, museums, and cafes. I could not have imagined a better location in Sarajevo—with Carsija and my daily cajdzinica, Dzirlo, to the right, and Markale and BBI to the left. The apartment is cozy and doesn’t leave you with any option other than to feel at home, something I value as I travel frequently; it’s comforting to have a sense of space. Both hosts were incredibly communicative and helpful and even went so far as to coordinate a departing taxi, something I’d had some trouble with since I don’t have a Bosnian number. Second to absolutely none, this is the place you should stay when visiting Sarajevo.

He showed that he was a very relevant host before he left. We had no difficulty in finding the house, as the location of the house and all the information was handed down to the fine detail via WhatsApp. We were greeted in front of the apartment and the house was very clean. Since we traveled by car as a location, it was 15-20 minutes away from the center and every place to be visited. If I come to Sayarbosna again, I do not need to risk staying here. Thank you.

I had a great time while staying at Azra's flat. Tunnel in the Bosna spring, beautiful parks in the city center Ilidza ...). Communication with Azra is excellent and therefore I sincerely recommend this place for your stay in Sarajevo. J'ai passé un bon moment en séjournant chez Azra. L'appartement est situé dans une zone calme et sûre et il faut environ 15 minutes pour rejoindre le center-ville et 20 minutes pour rejoindre la périphérie de la ville, qui regorge d'attractions intéressantes pour les touristes (tunnel de la vie, source de la rivière Bosna, beaux parcs à Ilidza ...) The apartment is located in a safe, quiet area and takes about 15 minutes by tram to the city center and about 20 minutes to suburb where you can have the rest and enjoy in other tourist attractions of Sarajevo (Tunnel of Life, beautiful park in Ilidza ...). The communication with Azra was excellent and therefore I warmly recommend your apartment for your stay in Sarajevo.

Great location, coudn't be more central. Apartment is as shown in the pictures, very clean. If you are staying on the weekend, bring earplugs because of music coming from a nearby club. Everything else was great. We would stay there again.

The apartment is located right in the city centre, next to the old town; it is pretty much the perfect place to be located in Sarajevo. There are a large number of stairs to climb, however really this is a small price to pay for such a beautiful and well-decorated apartment. This place has all the amenities you would need for a long stay, is clean, tidy, and feels very specious being open-plan with high ceilings. Check-in and check out were also super easy. We would highly reccomend this apartment to anyone planning to stay in Sarajevo.

Amazing place right in the center of the city - close to anything you might want to see. The apartment is on the top floor of the building, so there's about 4 flights of stairs to go up to. Everything worked perfectly! There was only a slight bad smell coming from the bathroom, but nothing too disrupting. Would definitely stay there again.

Absolutely great place with a perfect location. Clean and spacious. Amra will give you some nice tips regarding the place. Easy to walk everywhere you need. Hint for mountain bikers: take your bike and helmet into the gondola and try local downhill trail - it is absolutely awesome. Also, later you can just go downtown through narrow streets of Sarajevo and Olympic bobsleigh track - fantastic experience.
