If you're looking to stay in the area, this is the place. Clean, well appointed, street parking outside. There's a Spar shop close by and the nearby Maybole Arms does good pub food. The entrance hall is messy but the flat itself is clean and warm. Highly recommended.

We travelled from Leicestershire to Ayrshire to go walking and booked in to the Tenement Flat. The place was beautifully clean and warm. It was perfect for the two of us. The kitchen was fantastic (big selling point for me!) and we cooked some lovely food in there. Can’t wait to visit again.

Fabulous room with the comfiest bed ever! Pity I only stayed one night as my trip finished earlier than planned. I didn't get to take advantage of the extra space of the TV/sitting room (complete with fridge) but the shower was great. All in all I highly recommend. Thank you M & G :)

Really friendly hosts with beautiful pets! They left us to it unless we needed anything and were very accommodating. I almost slept through checkout because the bed was so comfy and hope we get a chance to book again.

Maria and Gavin were wonderful hosts, Maria was extremely responsive and Gavin was very kind in welcoming us and even set up a reservation for dinner for us that night! The pictures do not do the rooms justice, or the house - both are absolutely stunning! The location is great and close to anything you need and a short drive to the beach. We loved the place and the attention and detail to the suite is beautiful; also little touches like snacks and coffees/ tea was great. The bathroom is also beautiful with a great shower and heated floors! Again we loved and if we’re around again we would love to stay again.

My partner and I stayed here for one night whilst attending a family party within Ayr. We found the accommodation to be a beautifully decorated and stylish studio apartment which was extremely clean and well stocked with towels, showering products and extra luxuries such as biscuits, crisps and a fridge stocked with fresh water and milk. Overall we had a lovely stay at Maria and Gavin’s lovely home and we would highly recommend this outstanding accommodation which is a stone throw away from Ayr centre.

Maria’s place is perfect for a short stay in Ayrshire. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable and spotlessly clean and Maria is an extremely welcoming and helpful host. The location is perfect for walking into Ayr or to the beach and Prestwick and Troon are just a short drive away too. We had a lovely stay, and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again!

I had a great time with Anne. She is an excellent host and helped out anywhere needed. Her house is really comfortable and cozy while she has given full liberty to utilize all amenities. It was a nice place to visit and I recommend anyone going Ayr must stay at Anne’s Villa.

Lovely room with a comfy bed, good shower and a nice selection of teas. I arrived when Anne was away and I left early in the morning so I didn’t meet her or have any breakfast so I can’t comment on this.

Anne’s home is beautiful and very welcoming hairdryer provided and towels coffee and tea is all there we wouldn’t hesitate to go back thank you

We had a lovely time during our stay at Anne's place. She was clean, very friendly and very accommodating. She was even kind enough to give us a short cultural tour around the town and drive us to the venue. Would definitely stay with her again and recommend it to everyone!

We had a lovely time in Ayr. Julie, our host, greeted us when we arrived and gave us lots of tips for the local area. The Airbnb itself was beautiful and really well situated to see the local attractions. I’d definitely recommend Julie’s place if you’re considering a trip to Ayr, we had a wonderful time!

Julie is a great host. The rooms are spotless, and have everything one could need as a single traveller, although a couple would be equally comfortable. This is the second time I have stayed with Julie and would do so again

Julie will give you a warm welcome and is available at most times for advise etc. The room was clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. There's a Tassimo coffee machine, with several coffee pods to use. A kettle with tea bags and milk/sugar. A nice touch was the breakfast bars. There were spare toiletries and a hairdryer in the bathroom if you forgot yours. Big fluffy towels and there's power shower. The location is perfect, on a quiet residential street. It was around 5-10 minutes walk either way to town or to the beach. There is free street parking outside the house and if you needed to drive into town due to mobility issues, for example, its really cheap to park. It's 3 hours free parking at the sea front. Very homely. Ideal for short or longer stays due to the location.

The Kosy Kintore is a fabulous place to stay. Ailia has thought of everything and the flat is warm, welcoming and has everything you need for a comfortable break from home. The space is well thought out and exceptionally clean. The bed is lovely and comfortable and the kitchen well equipped. The situation, in a quiet residential street, allows easy access to local amenities yet provides a restful atmosphere. Ailia is very quick to answer any queries and is helpful with directions. We will definitely be back.

Just had a lovely stay at Kosy Kintore. Ailia was there to show me round and offer some local knowledge. The flat is really spacious and very comfortable. The cold water pressure was low, not Ailia’s fault, and turned out not to be a problem. Would love to stay again.

Fiona’s place is wonderful. Stylish and cosy, with everything you could need for a short or long stay. The house is located 30 seconds from miles of beautiful beach, and has the town just around the corner too. The garden is very sweet and a total suntrap. We have loved our stay! Thank you Fiona!

Dave and Rosie were supe welcoming and friendly. They gave our wee border terrier free roam of the boat and gave him lots of attention and sausages, we almost couldn't get him home with us :)

Rosie and David are a lovely couple. They gave us a warm welcome and their hospitality was beautiful. They really couldn't do enough to make our stay as comfortable and entertaining as possible. The MV Reliant is a fantastic place to stay. Quirky and surprisingly spacious. Troon Yacht Haven is the perfect berth too. An easy walk away from everything you could want. Communication with Rosie and David was very good. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Great hosts on a great boat.

What a lovely boat I highly recommend a trip to stay here. David was the perfect host very kind and had lots of good suggestions for things to see in the area. The room was very clean and peaceful. A highlight for me was seeing the seals which we saw near the fish market which David directed us to.

Absolutely loved our stay, Aisling was amazing and set up the room perfectly for celebrating my partners birthday. Sparkling clean with lots of lovely touches (porridge and breakfast bars alongside tea/coffee/etc) definitely would recommend this stylish space, close to the town centre and beach. will 100% go back next time we are down for the races!

The best I've seen in Scotland. It had a lot of charm and all the privacy to have independent entrance. There is plenty of parking at the door. The accommodation was very comfortable, everything was very well decorated and very cozy. We loved it.

This guest suite is very comfortable, in a quiet street just outside Ayr centre. There is quick and easy access to the beach, the town centre and is not very far from good food.

My mum and I had a wonderful time, the location is perfect, the hosts are lovely and the annexe was beautiful. Extremely clean, homely and had lovely little touches. We would definitely return!

Great small space In Ayr, stayed for a week and thoroughly enjoyed the flat.

The property is situated in a really lovely house, off a leafy road, close to a park and a short walk from the sea. There are two shops nearby and are easy to walk to. The house itself is cozy and has everything you need. The beds are very comfortable for a good night's sleep. It is warm but just in case there is a heater which can be wheeled from room to room. There is always parking available. All in all, the property is quiet, comfortable and accessible, perfect for a long or short stay.

A brilliant location for walking, with some great routes around the village and easy access to Galloway Forest Park. The place is really warm, comfy and well equipped... and having a rear entrance with an area to change and towel off is very handy when coming in from a muddy walk with a dog in tow! We had a great stay at Sarah's cottage. It had everything we needed- very comfortable and quiet. Also excellent location for getting to the dark sky observatory- approx 20 minutes drive away. We will definitely stay here if we are in the area again!

Chris was very friendly and met me at the property upon my arrival. Showing me around and providing me with freshly baked scones and free range eggs from his hens and ducks. Lovely accomodation and fantastic location. Shame my trip to Scotland was only 4 days long!

The Bothy's situation is beautiful. Chris is a wonderful host with hot scones and fresh eggs on your arrival. Idea location for touring Ayrshire and for wedding guests at the Brig o doon.

Didn't realise what I was missing in life until Chris came over with freshly baked warm scones. A perfect welcome after a long drive. Place was lovely. Clean and in super surroundings. We arrived in between two storms so weather prevented us from exploring fully unfortunately. Chris was a great host with a lovely energy. We would fully recommend this stay.

The house is absolutely stunning and perfect for big groups. The semi professional style kitchen is an absolute dream - plenty of crockery, glasses and crockery for big meals with all the friends and family. The rooms were so cosy and the upstairs in general was just a lovely place to relax in. The perfect weekend with a big group. Trying to find an excuse to do it all again!

Nine of us stayed here for two nights to celebrate a friend's birthday, and we all agreed that it was absolutely ideal. The conversion has been done to a high standard and there's a vast amount of communal space. On top of the enormous lounge and dining room, there's a recess area with a record player, outdoor decking and an upstairs nook with a ping pong table. The kitchen is half industrial and half domestic, with everything you need to prepare and cook food. There are two standard sized fridges with ice boxes, so if you bring a lot of food, drink and ice, like we did, you might have to be clever about what goes in the fridges and when. Aside from that one extremely minor niggle, everything about this property - including the comfy beds, lush surroundings, and the guides and information that Adam leaves dotted around - is perfect. Book now!

A lovely rural space right next to Culzean and surrounded by beautiful scenery. The cottage is really cosy with good heating and all of the necessary amenities. Sue was a fantastic host, she met us at the property as we arrived in the dark and she was kind enough to give us some scones! She is also very respectful of your privacy. We would definitely stay again in future.

We spent Christmas at Sue's lovely cottage and it was absolutely magical! Such a cosy space in the middle of the countryside, it was perfect. The space heated up really well and had everything we needed. I particularly loved all the little touches, like some fresh fruit, eggs in the fridge and we even had a little Christmas tree. The area is beautiful and we had some amazing walks around the castle grounds and coastline. If you want to get away from everything and feel really cosy for a few days this is the place for you! :)

1st class service. I cannot stress highly enough how John went out of his way to ensure that everything was perfect for my stay. The house was exactly as advertised, clean and tidy, had everything you need, excellent location, check in was easy, and communication was immediate with any query I had. John had left supplies of food and necessities which were not expected but greatly appreciated. The TV even had Netflix. I would have no hesitation in recommending johns house, and I will certainly be staying again.

Had a great stay at John’s. He was very accommodating- saw me walking along the road and gave me a lift to the property. I asked if he had a coffee machine and he came back 10 minutes later with a brand new cafetière, fresh coffee and new mugs! He leaves a basket full of goodies too. The flat is right round the corner from Newton-on-Ayr train station - 3 minutes into Ayr. A lovely view of the water from the bedroom and kitchen windows.

Larisa's house is nicely situated on the coast in Ayr. Parking in the seafront was convenient.Larisa had provided bread, milk and cereals which was a, nice touch. Self check in and out was quite straight forward.

Larisa’s apartment was lovely and clean with thoughtful touches. Scottish tablet on the dining table was a big hit. Plenty of towels and toiletries along with bread, milk and juice in the fridge were appreciated. The apartment was warm, inviting and very quiet. The view of the sea was stunning. Weather in November was glorious and we enjoyed a walk to the lighthouse and along the beach. Would definitely recommend.

Nice stay at Jamie’s place. I especially Enjoyed all the animals He has (especially the wee goats!). Really helpful and friendly guy. The weather wasn’t ideal for us to make the Most of the hot tub but we had a great view.

A gem of a place. Very quiet and peaceful and with it being in a elevated location it gives a great view down to the coast and over to Ailsa Craig & Isle of Arran. Hot tub was superb and as there are no street lights nearby, the night sky is jet black, giving a great view of the stars. Overall a lovely place to stay and very friendly hosts in Jamie and Bianca. My top tip for food nearby: Souters, about 1 mile away, absolutely fantastic food & great value.

Jamies lodge was one of the best AirBnbs we have stayed in. Not only is the place and location fantastic but Jamie is an incredible host. The lodge itself is very cosy, clean and the views from the hot tub are fantastic. Highly recommended, the place is better than the listing suggests. And Jamie's animals are so cool. Ryan's place is really near the station and Ayr central so it is easily accessible to a lot of local shops and restaurants. Ryan is also a wonderful host who will tend to your every need, sometimes even without asking! Pickles the house dog is one of the loveiest and sweetest dog ever :)

We would like to reinforce all of these positive reviews. The apartment is stylish, efficient, and comfortable. As public transit users, we found travel to (from Ayr, #9 bus to "Doonfoot Garage"), and from, both seamless and easy. A beautiful location on the River Doon, 5 minutes from the beach and Ayershire Coastal Path. And, Joanne is a fun, and gracious hostess. A memorable experience and highly recommended.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the lodge. The space was super clean and had everything we needed. A highlight was having use of the fire pit outside. The information we were given was great too, as we used a few of the recommendations to explore the area. Adam is a great host and it was very easy to access the property. I would definitely recommend this Airbnb to those who are looking for a very chilled atmosphere in a great location. I hope to visit again in the future.

The lodge is a really lovely wee place. Has everything you need in a very peaceful location. Only 15 mins from dalduff farm so handy if you're staying there for a wedding as we were. Adam was a very helpful host. Always responding so promptly to any queries. It was also immaculately clean. I would definitely recommend The Lodge.

Great cozy Lodge, fairly private/secluded. Would recommend having a car because of the above mentioned. Overall a very nice place, and Adam was very easygoing and helpful!

My girlfriend and I stayed the weekend at Elizabeths and we had a wonderful time there! Elizabeth and her husband are super friendly and their home is very lovely. If you want to stay in Ayr to explore the City or take long walks at the beach, we would definitly recommend a stay at Elizabeths.

Lovely place to stay. Very comfortable. Elizabeth is an excellent host who made us most welcome. Good continental breakfast set us up for the day. Excellent value for money and would return if in the area. Highly recommended.

Elizabeth was very friendly when we arrived and has a lovely home! The bedroom & bathroom felt very cosy and looked so very clean and homely. We would recommend anyone to stay with her!

A lovely wee place very close to the beach with fantastic hosts. The room and bathroom are immaculately clean. We also very much appreciated the breakfast in the morning. Their dog is very cute, too.

Perfect stay at Elizabeth’s. The beach is around the corner and the stroll along the coast is very pleasant. The room is big enough and the bed is very comfy with soft linens. It’s very quiet. Breakfast was delicious with homemade bread freshly made ! Very nice host !

A lovely little cottage in a very quiet area in a well kept neat part of Ayr. Close enough for the center, yet very secluded away from busy roads and passing traffic. Everything clean and tidy all you need was in the cottage for a relaxing stay in Ayr.

David's place was a unique experience. The deck was a delight to relax on with the sounds of the sea, warm sun and a hot cup of tea!

Very special place, first time for me on a boat-hotel. I enjoyed my staying. Host very kind, caring and attentive. Despite the weather conditions the whole thing was very steady as it’s docked in a bay.

The boat is fabulous and I had a great time staying on it, and I most certainly will do it again! It is cosy and well decorated, feels like a home when you're in it, and also gives you that sailor feeling as well. David and Rosie are amazing and kind people. David went out of his way to give me a lift to get me to places I needed to go! If that's not above and beyond, then I don't know what is! I highly recommend a stay here!

Such a quirky place to stay. Great location. Fantastic hosts offering excellent knowledge of the local area as well as an amazing home cooked Thai meal (absolutely must try!). Very good full breakfast served every morning. Nothing too much trouble. Perfect for a short break away!

I absolutely loved this converted fishing trawler. It was so incredibly relaxing. **Best sleep ever**. It was only one night, and I was the only guest (so it was lovely and quiet), but I would have happily stayed longer.

Fantastic location with great views, very spacious and clean. Close to Glasgow and Edinburgh, can't imagine why anyone would pay more to stay in a city when Ayrshire is so rugged and beautiful.

Laurence’s place was a fantastic accommodation for our golf trip to the Prestwick/Troon area. Wonderful location in short distance to golf courses, beach, as well as many great restaurants and bars. We would definitely stay with Laurence again on future trips!

We visited with 4 adults and 3 toddlers and this house was perfect for us. The weather wasn’t great but because the house is so close to the beach and has a beautifully kept garden we were able to make the most of any short windows of sunshine with the little ones. There is also a soft play and great outside playground with less then 5 mins walk. Communication with Laurence has been fantastic, he was super helpful before we arrived but also after we departed (we forgot a few things and there was no problem having the things shipped to us).

We had 6 adults and 2 kids from Australia with plenty of room. Had a beautiful view from upstairs and great backyard. Enough room for the kids to even kick a ball. In a great location just near the beach. The team responded quick and were lovely to deal with. Thanks again.

Brilliant stay, very central and very clean! Booked as a last minute resort for 1 week as it is quite a bit away from the job but as the apartment was so nice we have extended the stay for a further 4 weeks! Highly recommend!
