Our visit to Theresa's place was beautiful, clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the walks to the lighthouse, having a quiet breakfast outside on the patio furniture and watching the kids play games on the lawn. The location is quiet but a very short drive to Boothbay for activity. We also were within a reasonable drive to our favorite places, Popham beach and Pemaquid Point. We highly recommend a stay here and hope to return.

This house is in a beautiful area, close to Boothbay. Its a 1 minute walk to the water, in a residential area that is not very busy. Its a 10 minute drive from the center of town and the drive to town is absolutely beautiful. The place is adequately furnished with all the basic necessities and the hosts Rebecca and Gerhard are extremely responsive, very helpful, and knowledgeable about the local area. Highly recommended.

Seven of us recently spent a week at the Stowaway Cottage and enjoyed it very much. As described, the house sits high on a hill with beautiful views of the harbor below. It's very close to a nice little corner store, and it's an easy drive into Boothbay Harbor. We found a lot of great restaurants! The house is nicely furnished, and the kitchen is particularly well stocked. We enjoyed cooking some meals there (also used the grill) and eating on the deck right off the second floor kitchen/living area. One note regarding the four bedrooms: There are two large, very nice master bedrooms, one smaller room with bunk beds, and one very small room with a pull out sofa. Since there were three couples in our group, one pair definitely got the short end. The house would be perfect for two families, though. All in all, we would recommend the Stowaway Cottage if you are looking for a relaxing, convenient retreat on the coast of beautiful Maine.

We stayed at Maine Stowaway for a family vacation with 6 adults and 1 toddler and loved it! The location is great and the house is fantastic. The kitchen was well stocked and clean. There is a box of toys on the patio outside that our 2.5 year old daughter couldn't get enough of... as well as a tire swing and great views. The beds were comfortable with plenty of blankets and pillows. The furniture throughout the house was of high quality. The area around Southport Island and Boothbay Harbor makes for a perfect vacation. We ate at Oliver's in Southport one night and it was fantastic. Another night we got steamed lobsters to go from Robinson's which were delicious. We would return to this area and this house again for another vacation.

The Maine Stowaway Cottage met all of our needs for a family vacation including my two grand children ages 4 and 2. The house was just as advertised on airbnb. We were pleasantly surprised to find lots of toys for the grand kids to play with.

Luanne's property was beautiful, comfortable and private... Yet close enough to the downtown area for shopping, boat excursions and restaurants. Luanne was easily accessible and responsive to questions and offered great suggestions! We had a wonderful vacation at Luanne's Stowaway Cottage!

This is an excellent property. It's a 3 story modern unit with Bedrooms and full baths on all 3 levels. The deck provides outstanding views of the harbor. We were a family of 4 (2 boys ages 11, 13) and 2 dogs. Our dogs enjoyed the outside yard, and our boys enjoyed playing badminton. The property is very close to Boothbay Harbor, which is a really nice spot. Our favorites included: Dinner at Port of Italy Dinner at Oliver's Restaurant Dinner at Boathouse Bistro Gong to the nearby beach and General Store. The Boothbay YMCA - really good Y (if you are into fitness/working out) For our Dogs we took them to Porter's Point and Owen's Preserve. The host was super nice and very helpful. She was great to deal with. She has taken great pride in offering a quality experience for her guests, and she has delivered. The house is well appointed and its done right. Would I recommend this others? Absolutely. Would I go back? You bet.

The views from the cottage were amazing. There are two small porches and a big deck on the side to enjoy wonderful sunsets. There is also a side yard with beautiful grass that is a nice place to play and hang out. Southport is a quiet community that is close to fun Boothbay harbor. The house is walking distance to Hendrick's Head beach which is a really great for kids.

Kathryn's cottage is the perfect mid coast experience! It is private, beautiful, and very clean. The view is spectacular and pocket beach a lovely place to sit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay an Inder's place, especially the kayaks. It was very convenient to our wedding in Boothbay Harbor, and a very tidy, neatly appointed apartment that accommodated us well. We especially appreciated the teapot and dominoes for evenings after we returned from our full days. Would highly recommend.

We had a great stay in southport! Inder was a great host, very friendly and offered a lot of good tips on where to go in the area. The apartment was very clean and nice with everything you need for a home away from home. We would definitely come back.

Inder's place is the best kept secret in Southport. Right across from Robinson's this place has everything you need. The best thing about the apartment was meeting Inder. He couldn't have been more gracious and welcoming. I will definitely be back.

Apt#3 was smaller than expected. If you're looking for a place to only sleep then this would be ok. The two kayaks that are available are for more experienced kayakers, not beginners. The location is close to Boothbay Harbor (10 min) and that was convenient. Definitely stop at Red Cup Coffee House, worth the wait!

We had a wonderful family vacation in this amazingly beautiful location. Wish we could have stayed longer!!!

Inder was a great host. Just the right amount of contact. Very responsive. Nice location for kayaking into both Boothbay Harbor and the island area of the Sheepscot River directly from the dock.

This cabin was a real treat. Loved the kayaks!

We can't wait to stay here again! Our experience was wonderful - the apartment is clean, quiet, cozy, everything we needed. The bedding was comfortable and there were ample towels and blankets. Inder was incredibly responsive, replying to our emails within hours each time, and providing great information on local attractions, directions, beaches and rental logistics. The listing description is completely accurate and thorough, and we found the apartment to be even more charming than we'd expected. We loved our experience here!

5 Stars! Absolutely beautiful landscaping with a great view of the water. The "apartment" was much bigger than we expected, plenty of room for two couples. We also took the two kayaks out into the harbor which was super convenient from the dock. The host was incredibly friendly and super responsive when we had a question. Other than that we were left on our own, which was perfect.

The place was very clean and had a lot more floor space than expected. Great location with a restaurant within walking distance and a short drive to Boothbay Harbor. The kayaks were a very nice bonus. Will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Inder and Jane are super nice. The house is just a few step to the river. It's amazingly beautiful. There is a big yard in front of the house. The BBQ facilities is also provided. The house is suitable for 3-4 people living. The house is designed artfully. We highly recommend Inder's house!
