About a 1 hour drive from the house taking Lolo pass, some of which is gravel. Spend at least a few hours. It is breathtaking. You can walk the path that goes around the lake or rent kayaks and paddle boards. They also sell food so no worries, just hop in the car and go. It is worth it.
