My family and I live on the sunny outskirts of Waldau, directly in the beautiful Ansbachtal at the foot of the Thuringian Forest. A separate entrance leads you to your area of the house. The bright and newly renovated rooms invite you to relax. The forest is almost at your doorstep. It is only a few minutes by bike to the Ratscher mountain lake. The Goethe city of Ilmenau, the state capital of Erfurt or the Vestestadt of Coburg in neighboring Bavaria are easily accessible by highway.

Vacation home in the Thuringian Forest

The holiday apartment is located in the center of Fehrenbach and is located on the 1st floor of a house built in 1925. The living room offers a comfortable couch as well as a 55 "oled TV with Netflix and MagentaTV. In the bedroom you will find a 1.6x2m bed and from the kitchen you have a nice view of the place. A third person can be accommodated on the pull-out sofa bed in the living room. Early check-in and late check-out possible by arrangement.

My very well-equipped apartment is ideal for 2 people. If necessary, another sleeping place can be quickly arranged on the pull-out sofa in the living room. On our smart TV, I provide you with Netflix for rainy days and relaxing evenings on the sofa :) I live quietly, right by the forest, where beautiful hiking trails begin. Sufficient amenities are available for business travelers. 1 travel crib and 1 highchair are available for a small guest.

Timber construction trailer

The construction trailer made of larch wood is ideal for a romantic vacation for two. While lying in the loft bed, you can watch the stars through the large panoramic window or comfortably drink a cup of tea in front of the fireplace. In the small bathroom there is a sink and the compost toilet. In the building for the campers on the premises, you also have the possibility to shower and use a "normal" toilet.

Fancy a day at the lake or a quiet afternoon in the garden, a ski trip, a racing climbing hike or a cozy evening by the fireplace? Then WELCOME TO our newly renovated statement apartment. Looking forward to seeing you soon. ATTENTION: Maintenance work is currently taking place on the dam, which is why the lake is not filled. But walking across the drained reservoir is possible and very interesting.

Very nice family-friendly place to stay

The quiet yet central location makes our apartment a good choice. In summer, our courtyard offers a unique flair. Use it for eating, playing, getting together & enjoy nature and the loving details that make this place special. Opposite is a butcher shop. Also within minutes walking distance are a supermarket, a small organic shop and a fast food pizza restaurant.
