The house is located in a ski resort; we stayed there in summer, and were very happy with the possibilities for activities (all easily reached by car), such as hiking, kayaking or enjoying the nearby harbours of l'anse st jean (which has a nice ice cream and smoothies parlor) and Petite Saguenay. The house itself was bright and welcoming, and had a very well equipped kitchen. We certainly wouldn't have minded staying for longer.

Unforgettable winter stay. Everything was perfect. Snowshoe trails from the cottage and all necessary amenities.

Beautiful cottage in Sainte-Rose-du-Nord which also deserves its title as one of the most beautiful villages in Quebec. Very nice view of the fjord and the village, very well supplied and very clean cottage. Finally, excellent communication with Marie-Pierre the owner before, during and after the end of the stay. Especially recommended!👍😃

BEST Airbnb for our "ski chalet"! we are 4 couples including 2 families who rent a ski chalet in Anse Saint Jean every year for New Year's Day. The layout of the two living rooms, the open plan kitchen, the "running course" in the square on the ground floor for children, fenestration with beautiful decor, the drying room for ski linens in the basement, the number of bedrooms.... everything is wonderful at home!! we recommend ++

We enjoyed this house very much for its warm comfort. The environment and the proximity of Mont Édouard and Lac Emmuraille for cross-country skiing. We felt at home as if we were friends. For snow lovers who needed to get back to the warmth, everything was perfect!

Charming cottage on the lakefront with its own pontoon and a gigantic terrace to make the most of this beautiful and relaxing setting. Alexandra is a very considerate and helpful host and we enjoyed this peaceful haven just a stone's throw from Chicoutimi

huge favorite for this beautiful place and its setting! A perfect place to disconnect, many games for children and very well-equipped accommodation. I would highly recommend it. We came with a family car 7 places the path went very well.

Above all, I communicated with Mathieu, the co-host, who was very responsive and kind. We were 6 adults and a pet and we were great. It was not an inconvenience to make fires, we had nice wood provided. It's a quiet, clean, very well-equipped place with a great view of the Péribonka River! We loved our stay and I think I'll go back eventually! Thanks to Mathieu and Jean-François!

Beautiful cozy chalet with beautiful view of the lake. Recommend waking up early and having a nice coffee on the dock and enjoy a beautiful sunrise. Serge was very hands on and very responsive, the chalet was warm when we got there and he took care of it instantly. Only negative thing I would say was the early morning construction on one of the other chalet but that you can’t control. Recommend this place.

Beautiful stay at this cottage. It was even better than I imagined. Impeccable cleanliness, a beautiful setting and a magnificent view. Hyper functional, located 5 min drive to the ferry to spend a day in Tadoussac. I recommend it, very small downside on the wifi which does not work well in the cottage (works a little but outside on the terrace)

We spent 4 exceptional days in this natural haven, discovered in the snow. Every night, being able to watch the sunset over the frozen Lake Ambroise was our refreshing and beautiful ritual, then end the evening in the cozy armchairs in front of the floor-to-ceiling windows and admiring nature. Very well equipped, comfortable accommodation. Board games, outdoor games, everything is perfect! The only downside is having to leave the cottage! Very well located to discover the Saguenay and Lac St Jean. We hope to return to Quebec and rediscover this cottage during a season where we can enjoy the other activities of the lake. We thank Katy and Patrick for sharing this treasure!

Great stay at Paul's who is responsive and proactive. We stayed 1 week with family and we were able to visit quite easily the most beautiful places of Lake St-Jean (7 min from Rigolet beach, 1 hour from St-Félicien Zoo, 20 min from Trou de la Fée, 25 min from Alma, etc.). The cottage is comfortable and friendly. The beach and large grounds adjacent to the cottage as well as the "sandbar" mountain biking/hiking trails within walking distance of the cottage were musts for us! We highly recommend Paul's cottage!

The little house is really well stocked and set up for people who, like us, love to play! Pool table, Mississippi game, darts, full of table games, etc. The kitchen is also very well-equipped. The wood burning stove was much appreciated! The hosts, very friendly and caring, had even made a fire before we arrived. Having access to Lake Saint-Jean so close, it's valuable, even in winter!
