A bow window, a panoramic veranda and windows frame the scenery, the clouds and the play of light. Here, we live in harmony with the outdoors.

At an altitude of 1,200 metres, on a ridge in the middle of the volcanic Cantal mountains, you wake up to the sound of cows mooing and birds singing. No sound of traffic, just open air and a sweeping view over the valley. From the house, you can step directly onto hiking trails towards the Puy Mary. Inside, there is a fully equipped kitchen, two bedrooms with box spring beds, and a pellet stove for those cool mountain evenings. Ideal for those who really want to get away from the hustle and bustle.

Set in the countryside, 4 kilometers from Condat and adjoining our home, is our Cantal farmhouse known as a longère. Thick stone walls, wooden beams, large living room with traditional fire place and log burner, internet tv, two bedrooms, bathroom, and fitted kitchen. Enjoy sitting by a roaring log fire in the winter or in the shade of the old lime tree with a glass of wine enjoying the spectacular views in the summer. Whatever the time of year, you’ll enjoy the Longère’s comfort and charm.
