Excellent host, responsive and welcoming and provided a welcome pack with all we needed tea, coffee and even milk. Perfectly located for Minack theatre even providing rugs and a thermos for use of guests. Perfectly located for lands end airport and the local attractions. Ticked all the boxes for us.

Comfortable place set in a beautiful village, close to the local pub serving good pub grub. Lands End only 15mins away, but only worth a 30min visit. If you are up for a 10mile walk, you can walk from the house via Treverven gorge, to Penberthy cove, Logan rock, pedn vounder beach, porthcurno beach and back via the Logan rock inn (in Treen). Argoe fish restaurant is definitely worth booking. This is a lovely untouched part of Cornwall.

Our stay at Julie-Ann’s home was great. It had everything we needed. A lovely home in great location and with all amenities. Her communication with us was very speedy and she was so kind to leave some treats and provide us with fresh eggs. She also took our little one around the farm to meet the animals. A great host and we highly recommend her home.

The Rooks Nest is a special place. It is in beautiful surroundings, very secluded, private and relaxing. The perfect weekend retreat for us. It was lovely to meet Sam and Penny who were great hosts and have created an amazing shepherds hut experience with everything you need for a relaxing stay. It is really cosy and well laid out. The mini log burner was a treat at the end of a really wet day and ensured we got warm and dry. The bed and duvet was so comfortable and warm - best nights sleep for ages! The location is perfect for doing the touristy type things if that’s your bag. Or you can just enjoy nature, the amazing walk through the woods and onto the coast path. Or visit the stunning local beaches and coves. We will definitely be back again at some point! Thank you both. Rich & Connie.
