We have the Rutland Vineyard, a village stores, it is near Rutland Water, there are fab local walks, a great food scene, and there is Burghley House in Stamford, “England’s most attractive town” according to John Betjeman. For me, it is like the Loire and Cotswold towns, but friendlier and with fewer Range Rovers.

There are lovely views over the park and impressive cathedral, perfect for people watching. Outside has a small seating area and 2 parking spaces. WI-FI and a smart TV are included.

There is free parking for one car on our drive.
